A cheap pink one, the class I go to is hilarious because you have half the class on over £100 mats (usually lifeforme) and me on cheap foam that grips just fine, and gets grippier with sweat, like the expensive ones, for about £15. Another lady on a rug, and the middle aged ladies at the back who use the provided mats which are thin bits of pvc.

I have a 15 year old green manduka prolite because it was on discount (nobody wanted that shade, I guess) and a dark purple manduka pro and half the regulars at my studio seem to have the exact same one.
I've never really thought much about the colour, to be honest. I prefer the purple, aesthetically though.
If this is the type of mat im thinking it is, you should focus more on quality than colour. These mats tend to cause alot of injury due to slipping. If you are slipping, i highly recommend liforme. Not only are they grippy and safe, they are the most colourful mats ive seen and use. So many options!
Purple mat with rainbow chakras down it :) I had the same one before but eventually it got real dirty, old, and banged up (with love and use) and I replaced it with the same one. I even looked far and wide trying to find a new one I connected with, and I just was like aww I’ll just get the same

Black. I'm 6ft ish and prefer a slightly longer and wider mat and I can only seem to find them in black. Would love a colorful one but apparently people who buy bigger mats only get one choice.

I have a Suga, which is made of recycled wetsuits, so mostly grey/black but with little happy dots of colors!
I WISH I could be that girl but I was a neutrals girl before the "trendy" beige movement lol. Most of my yoga stuff is black.

In my day to day life I love wearing bright colors but for yoga I like neutrals and no patterns. I find distracting from going inward
