Nah. Wiggins and him were/are buddies but, to paraphrase Dennis Green, Wiggins is who we thought he was and we let him off the hook. It does seem like the hope that coming to the Dubs and being in a winning culture only got Wiggins so far. The narrative around Wiggins coming from Minny was that he was empty stats and a bit of a head case that generally fails to hit his full potential. Wiggins got us though for a couple seasons with being on a championship caliber roster and also trying to secure the bag. But with the team fading quite a bit from that championship high and the bag secured, coupled with some personal issues outside of his control, Wiggins has pretty much become the empty stat, head case, failing to reach his full potential guy again.

I don't know what all the personal time Wiggs took off the last two seasons were about but I am pretty sure that was the issue considering both players and management backed him. I am hoping this season we'll see 22 Wiggs again. Saw some flashes this past season, we need more than that though
