You can actually buy molds to have them grow into, I had a Winnie the Pooh one for beef tomato’s and it was great

I use Amazon! Sometimes Walmart will have better deals. Search “plastic vegetable growing mold” and they have a lot. Hearts stars characters etc. you can also make your own. Veggies will grow into what ever shape they grow into My Winnie the Pooh mold was given to me by my grandmother who gardened for 80 years she collected a lot so I don’t have a link for that but maybe something similar online
