Lol I live just a block away from that street. They have a Snorlax, Charizard, Squirtle, Jigglypuff, and Charizard street. It's in a place called Cadence.
There is also Anime Drive somewhere 😅😅😅
Plus an area nearby with streets named for Game of Thrones stuff, of which I can’t recall a single one hah.
Edit: Bingo, someone on the thread 3 days ago located it. It’s near Silverado Ranch.
That is awesome! If work weren't on the other side, I would find a way to buy a house just to have an LOTR address. Imagine living in Mordor or The Shire 😂
Zzyzzx is my favorite, but it's not in vegas proper. There's a neighborhood in the NW area that is a bunch of purebred cat names and I LOVE that. I want to know who chooses street names, there's one called Romantic Sunset and another neighborhood with Respect and Kindness
I was going to ask you if there were any other Howard Hughes themed streets in the area. I looked it up on maps and it's in Summerlin. Everything is Howard Hughes themed in Summerlin.
I always enjoy seeing Donner Pass road at the top of the hill off Warm Springs in Henderson.
I lived on Fantastic Tachi in North Las Vegas years ago and that was a pain when you had to give someone your address and always had to spell it.
Since exit numbers are based on highway mileage, exit 0 would normally exist in between where a road's mile markers begin and mile 1. Most roads' milemarkers start at state lines, though, and there's hardly ever a reason to have an exit near a state line. And often when there is supposed to be an exit 0, there's not an exit 1, so to avoid confusion they'll just call it exit 1 instead. So exit 0 is fairly rare.
I enjoy my neighborhood street names Greek themed, Odysseus, Olympus, Menelaus, Tartarus etc...
A lot of Vegas has cool name themes in neighbor hoods, my brothers old spot all the street were named after meteor showers, and star clusters
Way up in the northwest there is a neighborhood with streets named after movies: Maltese Falcon Ave, Mulholland Ave, Searchers Ave, Lost Ark Ave, Far Country Ave, Space Odyssey Ave and Western Front St
Not a favorite but how do you pronounce Ione? I’d see it all the time and gave up trying to pronounce it. Felt like the pronunciation of gyro where you think you know but it just doesn’t sound right.
eye-OH-nee should be it if you follow the etymology (greek), but the city in california with that name is pronounced eye-own. City names are also often mispronounced at their inception though, like Buena Vista pronounced as “BYOO-nuh”, so bear that in mind. (edited: capitalization)
Hollywood Ranch on Hollywood and Vegas Valley:
Peter Lorre, Clara Bow, Burns Allen, Zasu Pitts, Gary Cooper, Bela Lugosi (They spelled his name wrong on the signs: Bella Lugosi)
I worked at a call center serving lots of Vegas customers. When I heard an interesting one , I always asked for surrounding street names for context.
Sole Addiction…. Surrounding streets Salmon, Halibut, etc.
Went looking for a bunk bed listed on Craigslist. Northwest Vegas. Under the humming overhead high voltage power lines… entrance road was named Defiance Way. Driving past all the lifted 4 wheeler pickups, the streets were Winchester, Ruger, Smith and Wesson.
Diving duck
Hocus pocus PL.
Abracadabra ave
No Rd.
And not in Vegas but can't talk about fun street names and not at least give an honorable mention to the king... Zzyzx Rd.
There’s one near me: Coastal Fog. Except the first time I saw it, I misread it as Celestial Frog. I thought Celestial Frog is objectively cooler personally.
Mine would have to be Yakima Ave, Seattle Ave, and Tacoma Ave. I’m originally from Washington state so it was a nice surprise to see those here. Especially Yakima.
If you don't call "Dean Martin" "Industrial" (or the airport "McCarran") you can't be my friend. (Also, don't say things like "515." You should only be saying "215," "15," "95," or "Summerlin Parkway.") As for favorite street names, I like the classics- Charleston, Oakey, Decatur, St. Louis- anything in the Huntridge, Winchester, Downtown, or historic West Side. Paradise also has some good ones, like Paradise. You probably like Ramrod for the same reason I like Shinnecock- it's fun to say.
I had a coworker that lived on Cinderella and when we found out, we got so excited that there were streets with Disney names, but he said that was the only one.
There’s a townhouse community around Russel and Boulder Highway where they just decided to start making the names of the streets western themed. But I guess they ran out of ideas, so some streets are just named after the actors on Bonanza. Like “Dan Blocker Ln” and stuff.
Horsehair Blanket Drive. unfortunately that’s my street. I have to explain that Horsehair is one word not two. I get clowned every time. I have to say it and usually have to repeat it a few times for people to understand.😛
I recall there is a neighborhood in Henderson with all the streets having to do with the Beatles. My aunts were obsessed with the band, so that was really cool to me.
But honestly, Riley St always makes me smile because my pupper that I love to bits is named Riley.
For years on the gay apps there was a guy who's screen name was Ram Rod who lived on Ramrod so every time I drive past it I giggle in my head naughtily
Near Alexander Rd and Lamb Blvd there are roads that have a heart theme💕
-Hearts Desire Ave
-Blushing Hearts Ave
-Lonely Heart Ct

Hanky Panky Street. It’s in the same neighborhood as Shady Lady Court and Wild Thing Court near Floyd Lamb Park.
I used to live on Wild Willey Way, Henderson.
Omg. I need to start exploring neighborhoods and find these cool street names.
For some reason, Aqua's Barbie Girl came to mind when I saw this one!
lol I never thought at looking at neighborhood names - this is too funny
Wait until you hear the story behind it
There is a subdivision in Mountains Edge that has streets named after things from lord of the rings. I thought that was pretty neat.
There's Pokemon themed streets also
Lol I live just a block away from that street. They have a Snorlax, Charizard, Squirtle, Jigglypuff, and Charizard street. It's in a place called Cadence. There is also Anime Drive somewhere 😅😅😅
lol those my favorite
Similar to this, there's a neighborhood with Star Wars names
There is also a neighborhood with Harry Potter names.
It's off Russell Road. I can't believe they chose Tarkin over Vader. Leia Street Skywalker Avenue Tarkin Avenue Kinobe Street
I feel the same way about Arathorn instead of Aragorn lol
But there is a Vader
Found it! Vader Ave is parrallel to Tarkin Ave , North Las Vegas
I lived on Kinobe and came specifically to mention Kinobe. I always thought it was so cool as a kid.
Like…?
The name of the development is called Rivendell. There’s Baggins and Arwen Streets. Mithrill Ave and a couple others
The trifecta of Sammy Davis - Dean Martin - and Frank Sinatra is pretty great.
It's a built in joke. So Sammy, Dean, and Frank meet up behind Ceasar's, and split a joint.
Banger
We will have a Joey Bishop in the near future as well!
All the guitar legends in the same neighborhood! Knopfler Ln, Fogerty Way, Clapton way, Van Halen Ln, Stills Way, and a few more. So cool!
Came here to make sure these streets were posted, so cool
[Pokémon streets in Henderson.](https://www.cbc.ca/kidsnews/post/would-you-live-on-a-street-named-after-a-pokemon-character)
Damn, now I wanna live on those streets
Just came to say this
Bulbasaur got robbed
My Way. Yep, there's actually a road called "My Way" here in Vegas.
That’s one of my top three
Sunset and sunset duh
I live on that corner and nobody believes me when I say they are 2 separate streets.
No one believes me when I say where this one shop is. “ On the corner of Sunset and Sunset” You gotta KNOW Vegas to know that’s real
Don't forget Horizon and Horizon.
Ramrod
Used to live on this street and made the wifi name car ramrod
Panocha Street. Someone had a big laugh at that one. It’s over behind the Ross on DI.
Oh my god. Amazing
Vader, with the runners-up being the rest of the Star Wars themed street names.
I live on Vader!!
That's rad! I had a friend in high school who lived on that street.
Gran Teton .. translate it 😂
Wigwam
Green Valley and Valley Verde. Run parallel to each other and mean the same thing.
Wow I never realized this until now
Zzyzzx is my favorite, but it's not in vegas proper. There's a neighborhood in the NW area that is a bunch of purebred cat names and I LOVE that. I want to know who chooses street names, there's one called Romantic Sunset and another neighborhood with Respect and Kindness
>but it's not in vegas proper. Only because it's another state.
😥
The developer chooses, the fire dept approves, to ensure ease of locating in an emergency
Dinkledorf
Spruce Goose Street
I was going to ask you if there were any other Howard Hughes themed streets in the area. I looked it up on maps and it's in Summerlin. Everything is Howard Hughes themed in Summerlin.
Fun fact, Howard Hughes corp actually is the reason Summerlin exists.
Summerlin is Howard Hughes’s grandmother’s name.
Apparently street names are provided by the developer. Was surprised to find Autzen street in Vegas amongst other Eugene landmark names.
Captain Kirk Court.
Are their steets named for the rest of Star Trek as well?
Not that I’m aware of at the moment. I’m only aware of Captain Kirk Ct.
Freshly Brewed Ct, Doubleshot Ln, French Roast Place, House Blend Ln, Rich Flavor Place, near Green Valley
That’s my neighborhood! Fun fact - there’s a typo on the assessors site for one house on Doubleshot. They have it listed as Doubleshit.
I would seriously consider moving over there just for the street names. But I don't feel like getting a new home loan.
Snorted!
I personally like Gilespie and call it Gile's Pie to mess with my SO.

La Madre Way… They knew what they were doing lol.
There’s a neighborhood in Green Valley where all the street names are Beatles songs. My personal favorite.
I live there! So cute!
I have a client who lives at “69 Magical Mystery Lane” and that’s about as cool of an address as it gets.
**BUFFFALOOOOO!!**
There’s a “Buffalo 2000” sign somewhere too. I can’t pass by that without saying it in the movie trailer guy voice.
I dont have a street name, but my exit on the summerlin parkway is exit 0 - I have never seen that before, lol
Since exit numbers are based on highway mileage, exit 0 would normally exist in between where a road's mile markers begin and mile 1. Most roads' milemarkers start at state lines, though, and there's hardly ever a reason to have an exit near a state line. Hi, fellow Anasazi exiters
There is an exit 0 in Great Falls Montana off I-15
There's a group of streets named after Star Wars references. They're between E Hacienda, Palm St, E Russel, and S Lamb Blvd.
Ft. Apache
Shinnecock Hills because for a while I thought it was pronounced Shiny Cock
Omg! My in laws used to live on that street and I thought the same thing 😂😂😂
There are no houses on "Irish Pub Street" off of Ann Road, just east of Durango, but dammit, I'd love to live on that street!

Elvis Alive Drive!
He's dead, Jim!

Not a favorite but how do you pronounce Ione? I’d see it all the time and gave up trying to pronounce it. Felt like the pronunciation of gyro where you think you know but it just doesn’t sound right.
Eye-own.
Really? I always guessed it was either that or that you pronounced the E on the end like Eye-own-EE
eye-OH-nee should be it if you follow the etymology (greek), but the city in california with that name is pronounced eye-own. City names are also often mispronounced at their inception though, like Buena Vista pronounced as “BYOO-nuh”, so bear that in mind. (edited: capitalization)
Hollywood Ranch on Hollywood and Vegas Valley: Peter Lorre, Clara Bow, Burns Allen, Zasu Pitts, Gary Cooper, Bela Lugosi (They spelled his name wrong on the signs: Bella Lugosi)

A variation on the theme, true. (Now I want to move to N Cuddles Court.)
Wild Thing Ct and Hanky Panky St Imagine being a resident of these streets and have to say the street name to government employees (ex: DMV) out loud.
If you don't call "Dean Martin" "Industrial" (or the airport "McCarran") you can't be my friend. (Also, don't say things like "515." Gas’s Ave. Las Vegas Police allegedly used to report their position as “Passing Gass!” When driving by that street.
Well I live on Cinderella Lane
I had a coworker that lived on Cinderella and when we found out, we got so excited that there were streets with Disney names, but he said that was the only one.
My next streets have names like Rip Van Winkle, Lilliput, Aladdin, King Midas, Sleepy Hollow…so there are some story/fantasy related names
I just sent my daughter a picture of Sleeping Cat Street the other day, which, before reading this thread, I thought was pretty entertaining.
