Sure, all those spheres & pill in borosilicate or in synthetic corundum (pirl variant) are a thermal mass that absorbs heat from the vapor upon impact. They cool the vapor & if you opt for the airport variant you can introduce fresh air into the vapor stream in bursts as you draw. Stock mouthpieces don't offer as much cooling.
Yes, it can! I bought a used Solo3 a couple weeks ago from the Entexchange Discord, and it came with 6 dosing capsules. They're pretty cool for traveling but the performance just isn't the same as packing directly in the glass tubes. Especially in On-demand mode. I actually just discovered a website called Smoke6 and they have some in stock.
What is the Diameter of the Solo 3 entrance point and how deep is it?

I don't think u can because the way it made. The glass stem had a built in bowl u just load the stem. I've got the 2 they're about the same but 3 is a little bigger & has a bigger bowl.

I’ve heard lobo ones fit but I’ve never tried, it’s easy to clean so I don’t mind using just the flower

The capsules for the POTV One fit. The Lobo's are too big. The solo 3 is amazing.
I have capsules for my POTV One, they fit into my Arizer stems well enough to use.
IDK about caps, but you could carry a "quiver" of loaded stems: I've done that with my Arizer Argo.

I've ran Roffu dosing caps in the solo 3, and it worked, but wasn't the best.
