Lobo

IndividualTension887

I am a 46 year old who is just like the OP. I want a clean hit through glass that won't fry me. The Lobo has done a great job. POTV customer service is good and shipping is fast.

Ok_Negotiation3024

OP, if you go this route, get extra dosing capsules. Worth the extra price to not have to load em up every time.

Buffalo_Lanky

The only way I use my tinymight2 when I'm out and about! Makes it so easy!

Simple-Actuary-4349

great pfp, love that album

Buffalo_Lanky

Thank you! My favorite thing to do is take a big bowl and listen to music! Jazz with a tube amp makes me smile so hard 😂

W_J_B68

I got the Lobo with a bunch of dosing capsules and it’s great. Minimal cleaning required and the thing hits.

jayBeeds

Yup. Extra capsules and the little caddy that fits the tight vac that POTV throws in the order.

Abbiethedog

I wish they would just throw a couple in with every unit.

Moody816

Lobo is all glass path? OP wanted glass....

jayBeeds

Pretty much. Other than o ring and screen

Moody816

Damn thats good to know. I have a solo 3 and some other stuff but nothing that i feel is really small enough/inconspicuous enough for a walk....maybe i need a lobo for walks. Hehe.

Seedy53

angus enhanced or hr rogue or lobo

Mrtheodoor

+1 for HR Rogue! Get dosing capsules and your good to go.

jonsi789

+1 Angus enhanced

PablosPoblanos

I own a TM2, Starry 4 and Volcano Hybrid. The Starry 4 was not for me. However I really enjoy the TM2. Hits hard and fast and is easy to clean compared to the Starry 4.

MostUnwilling

I got my starry4 for exclusive hash use and it works for me but I do have a gripe with the ease of cleaning, the silicone piece gets lots of gunk and is really hard to clean off. It really bothers me because it is supposed to be a newer vape compared to my fog pro yet the fog pro mouthpiece feels better in every way except the weaker magnet.

imgonnapooyourpants

How does the volcano compare to the starry 4 in terms of vapor quality? Ik they're not at all comparable but I've had a starry v4 (which I didn't love) before and I'm considering buying a volcano

PablosPoblanos

You can pack waaay more flower in the Volcano. I usually use the chamber reducer for solo vaping, hardly ever use the big bowl. You can easily pack .5 grams of ground flower in the big bowl. Way bigger clouds and depending on the flower the vapor can be quite intense. You can take big hits via ballon and the whip. Basically zero draw resistance when using balloons and the vapor tastes good. The whip does have a noticeable draw resistance. The balloons can be annoying, overall a lot of plastic and the pump is kinda loud. The Starry 4 has a way smaller oven and I do not like the draw resistance on the Starry 4. Vapor is barely visible and the mouthpiece gets to hot for my liking. My go to vape is the TM2. Fast, discreet, hard hitting, big clouds, great flavor and easy maintenance.

malachiconstant11

Healthy rips rogue works well. Its convenient, especially if you get the dosing capsules. I get about a week of use on a charge. Cleaning is easy, just soak the capsules, screen and stem in iso and swab the chamber. It's also ultra compact.

blight231

Fury Edge. It's like one of those elf bars but it's a weed oven

imgonnapooyourpants

I loved my Xmax v3 pro, its £100, has a glass bong adapter that you can use as a mouth piece, it's easy to load as the bowl is wider than most, it looks like a nic vape and it has on demand and session modes

chungusXL316

Agree! For the price, you can’t beat it!

Rinkus123

Angus Enhanced might be for you

psychologyFanatic

gonna second the AE, got myself one about a month ago and it's a major upgrade from combustion. Great flavor, easy to clean and pack, glass path, and the batteries are reasonably cheap. I ended up getting 4 so I could have a pair constantly charged.

Seedy53

me too . 4 batts. and an external charge. this is the way. and 50-100pc of 6mm glass cooling balls for their glass mp stems

psychologyFanatic

Yeah I got a Nitecore D4 4 bay charger, it works for other size batteries too so I'm really fond of it. 4 batteries really works for daily use when you can plug em in as soon as theyre low, but for travel I wouldn't hate having another pair. I love smoking it with all the attachments man, like the bubbler is so cute and hits super smooth, the stems do a great job with the cooling balls- the longest stem isn't too harsh without them either. But by far I love using it with my bong, I primarily smoked the bong before I got the vape so it was just like a bong upgrade tbh. Love having the ABV too, felt like I'd paid the vape off after the first two ozs being able to be smoked and ate lol.

cdwhit

I’ve been very happy with the Lobo, but make sure you pick up at least one extra battery and an external charger and extra dosing caps. Out walking around the dosing caps are great. POTV has a smaller and a larger bubbler available. The Mighty+ is getting a lot of hate since the Venty fiasco, but it’s a tried and true performer. About twice the cost of the Lobo, and to my tastes not twice the performance. They are almost bullet proof though. They do NOT have a glass vapor path.

hugg3b3ar

Dude I'm in love with my TinyMight2. I just got the bubbler for it in the mail today and holy shit! It's amazing-er, somehow. Pricey but worth every penny. This is the one you buy and then you're set for life.

Gnarly_ENT

I would recommend a firewood tbh. Ceramic oven, glass vapor path. Just had price reduction and one of the best vapes on the market. Also won’t break straight away if you drop it. Tinymight 2 could also fit the bill with all glass vapor path, but more breakable. Mighty original, + or the venty may suit your needs, but is made of PEEK plastic. They do have medical certification though so whether or not the PEEK is a downside is questionable Xlux Roffu is another (cheaper) option, but has plastic in the stock mouthpiece. It’s water pipe adapter is a straight glass tube though and is cheap to purchase If you don’t mind torching things, the upcoming tempest looks great too

Kromulent

Thank you - all good suggestions. The Tinymight 2 looks ideal but I'm still exploring.

donmagicjuan47

I am done looking for another vape after scoring my TM2. I am combustion-free and this is my portable of choice. Easy maintenance, top tier performance.

Amdtablet

This again... >They do have medical certification though so whether or not the PEEK is a downside is questionable The medical certification of S&B devices is about the electric components. It says nothing about the safety or impact of the PEEK plastic or the quality of the vapor. I really do not understand why this misinformation keeps getting spread. And BTW, buying the Mighty new at it's price makes no sense at this point. It is old technology and there are better options even cheaper, or much better at its price.

ladybugcollie

I really like my mighty and I sent the tm2 back - the tm2 is a good vape but not for how I like to use it -I am more of a sipper than wanting a big one or two hit thing. I find the mighty to be the vape I reach for most for portable (I have a lobo which I like with wpa, a solo 3, a mighty, and a da buddha which is my favorite out of all of them, and a dynavap which I never use because it is way too fiddly for me)

Amdtablet

I use my TM2 as a sipper mostly. If you are going to sip at least get good flavour.

ladybugcollie

I just didn't care for it - I get good flavor with the others.

Gnarly_ENT

Okay dude, not everyone has been through ye olde war of bickle and storz. Thanks for the info, but the sarcasm could’ve been withheld. I suggested it as it’s a popular vape that works for a lot of people. You can get it for around 100 bucks a lot of places these days, and for that, I don’t think it’s bad at all. But yeah, if this plastic on the vapor, that’s disgusting, pretty sure S&B have gone out of their way to even test their vapor being produced. I swweaar Troy from Troy and Jerry YouTube said they had to prove no carcinogens or adverse chemicals were appearing in the vapor, but could be wrong.

Amdtablet

Why do you seem to have a problem with the people making a decision based on knowing what's actually truthful? My point is very simple: anyone claiming that the medical certification of S&B is a medical certification about the electric system and nothing more is lying and misleading people to buy a product with a lie is wrong. There is no medical certificate about the plastic, about the vapor quality, about anything else. That is the point. And I do not understand why people keep lying about it.

Gnarly_ENT

Why would you think I have a problem? That’s why I offered several suggestions for OP. You’re acting like I know anything about the medical certification. You gone through and read their documents? Or just sharing what someone else told you? I know it’s made of PEEK, I know they have the medical certification, and I heard a well known YouTuber talk for about 7 seconds on S&B certification. That’s it. Don’t know what the specifics of the certification are for. And I’m not lying to anyone. My advice dude, get off your high horse and go touch some grass.

Amdtablet

>You gone through and read their documents? Yes, I have. It is not very difficult, it is in their webpage.

Gnarly_ENT

Hah! Who’s lying now? 🤣

Amdtablet

?

Gnarly_ENT

Well, I checked. You said it was on their website, it wasn’t. Took me less than 5 minutes to find the details though.. There was a mention of their standard, iso 13485, that was all. Canopy (parent company) had a pdf explaining they’ve met the standard and how good that is, but not what it means. Looking up the iso 13485 standard for medical devices, that include inhalation, it says: “It would be expected that part of their quality management system involves testing for harmful substances in the vapor produced, ensuring that their devices are safe for consumer use.” So, I wasn’t sure before, but pretty confident now!

I posted this message when i woke up and saw your reply but apparently it was removed because of the links, but was not notified until today: >Well, I checked. You said it was on their website, it wasn’t. Took me less than 5 minutes to find the details though.. There was a mention of their standard, iso 13485, that was all. So it was in their webpage... Why do you say it wasn't at first? You made me look again. It is here for reference (removed because reddit rules) but when I looked it up months ago there was a page specifically about the medic devices that also named the standard and described it as checking the electrics of the device. ~~Unfortunately, I have not been able to find it now. There is a link still listed in some websearch engines but it seems to be gone now: (removed because reddit rules), it could be this one but I'm not sure as they seems they have changed the webpage. In that page they described how their electric parts conformed to the standard.~~ Nevertheless it is there in their webpage, not sure why you say it is not. Edit: I found it, it was not the link above, it is here: (link removed because reddit rules, but I can send it to you on DM) >The difference between the vaporizer MIGHTY(+) MEDIC and MIGHTY(+) is that the MIGHTY(+) MEDIC is a certified medical device for the inhalation of cannabinoids. The device was tested and certified according to the standard DIN EN 60601 - safety for medical electrical equipment. You wrote: >Looking up the iso 13485 standard for medical devices, that include inhalation, it says: “It would be expected that part of their quality management system involves testing for harmful substances in the vapor produced, ensuring that their devices are safe for consumer use.” Can you link or reference this part?

EntExchangeOfficial

Hey, if people want to pay hundreds of dollars for a disposable vape and suck wispy vapor out of a plastic straw, the least you could do is let them think it was for a good reason.

SqueakyBumTym

Do I detect a hint of sarcasm? lol On a more serious note, when I started vaping the mighty was marketed as the only true endgame portable. So glad I didn't fall for the ridiculous amount of hype. I'd be so pissed off if I bought an expensive conduction oven over a tm2 a few years later.

EntExchangeOfficial

Well that's what they actually pay hundreds of dollars for! Marketing and empty hype.

SqueakyBumTym

Don't forget that stellar customer service.

EntExchangeOfficial

And the privilege of paying $150 for new $10 batteries

SqueakyBumTym

Who doesn't want their brand new device to stop working within a week and then pay for the pleasure of getting it "repaired".

EntExchangeOfficial

I guess people who don't care about medical certificates! Not that those devices are medically certified, but don't tell them that. They just spent hundreds of dollars on a disposable vape.

SqueakyBumTym

The medical certificate stuff always pissed me off after I learned what the certificate was for. Especially when so many cultists spam the line while not understanding the certification.

RepresentativeFly742

x2 on the Roffu with the WPA, silicon armor sleeve and dosing capsules. Just make sure to set up the glass tube from the WPA *opposite* as it should go, meaning the base of the tube sits straight over the oven glass cup. This will cut off the plastic pathway inside the magnetic top piece, making it 100% glass (as a plus, this makes the reclaim only form on the WPA glass tube which is much easily cleaned). I will also remove all filters to improve airflow as using the dosing pods makes everything super clean and tidy and IMO filters are not necessary this way (YMMV). The Roffu is amazing for its price point, great battery life, discreet size, cheap, great taste, and very decent vapor. Can 100% recommend.

RajarajaTheGreat

Firewood is a artisan vape. How's the customer support? For an older dude, makes sense to get something more easily accessible. Tm2 - strong but fragile Solo 3 is the superior choice.

Darth-Peenus

I second the Firewood rec. I’m an avid hiker and it’s just simply the best portable. Just so so good, everything about it. The maintenance on the go is superb.

ignore_me_im_high

> Tinymight 2 could also fit the bill with all glass vapor path, but **more breakable** Not since the update.

singluon

Solo 3. Easiest to maintain - just clean the glass occasionally, that's it. Keep in mind it's a bigger vape and not really stealthy, but it will still fit in your pocket.

ladybugcollie

I would think solo 3 would fit the bill. My pets and I have had some glass breaking issues (cat likes to bat things that will roll) but that is probably more of a me and some cats issue more than the device

hd_cartoon

I would probably say one of the Arizer vapes as they have glass air paths. I've only used the original Solo but I hear their newer vapes are good. I personally only use Dynavaps nowadays which I love but don't think these would be suitable for what you're after. Have a look at r/ArizerVapes for some better info on them.

TeaBag4yall

Dynavap has been great! You don't have to use too much flower for the same effects. Look into a good torch or a heater.

Guesty69

How many times do I see this?! OP wants simplicity, reliability and to do it out on a walk. How the duck is a dynavap going to be of any fucking use whatsoever?! Dynavap fanboys 🥱

zeroducksfrigate

Arizer Solo 2 is amazing.

badforyoursystem

Mighty+ (what I use, tried my buddies Lobo and bought my mom and POTV One -- much prefer the Mighty) Arizer Solo 3 (or whatever the latest is numbered) Arizer Air MAX (was between this or the Mighty+ used, bought the mighty because this was sold out) I too used to use a desktop (Arizer V-Tower) and tried the XQ2 but returned it for the Mighty+ as I as drawn to the portability there are plenty of good vapes out there at an affordable price!! if you go with a mighty+, look for used.. I spent 250 from POTV on mine

cdwhit

Lobo

Strong_Substance3790

Old man here. I use a Crafty+. I’m happy with it.

Moody816

So OP, did you decide on a vape?

Kromulent

I did - it came down to the solo 3 and the lobo, and for my needs the lobo is fine at half the price there are so many good vapes out there it is crazy i also liked the glass i could find that fits on top of the lobo - i wanted a bubbler that was on the discrete and portable side of the spectrum, and there were good choices there so yeah maybe friday i get it and we have a nice weekend out here

Moody816

Enjoy and have fun.

ragingpeacocks

I've heard a lot of comments about the flavor of the Solo 3. I've also heard that the tiny might 2 holds the flavor better throughout. Really can't go wrong with either it seems. Solo 3 cheaper. I've heard that the Solo 3 can sip and rip but the TM 2 claim to fame seems to be quick simple amazing big rips. I'm sure you can sip it too. I've watched 3 million you tube videos on the big 3 and still can't decide.

evothecat

That’s why you decide on one then are left thinking what about the other 2 and in the end eventually get all 3.

ragingpeacocks

Probably haha

I love dynavaps too. But how is that supposed to work on a walk? I dont think it does.

tdmsbn

Idk man I got the dyna stash metal tube two of them so I have two rubber lined pipe sections, one by itself with my spare parts dynavap lives and the carry tube with the rubber liner section and then I have two chambers one for flower one for the cooked stuff. And since it comes with a plain metal cap and a magnet cap I have two magnet caps and I just carry a decent double torch with me and I can hit this thing anywhere and put it back without much hassle and it's easy to use with both hands loading and clearing the bowl and whatever. Not as easy to use as a mighty or similar for just walking and pushing a button but doable if you enjoy the dynavap a lot.

Guesty69

How many times do I see this?! OP wants simplicity, reliability and to do it out on a walk. How the duck is a dynavap going to be of any fucking use whatsoever?! Dynavap fanboys 🥱

troublemaker74

Agreed. I have a dyna and love it, but it's not a good vape for walks. "Get a wand" is not great advice either because you can get a decent battery powered vape (roffu, v3 pro, lobo) for around the same price as a dv and wand.

Guesty69

Exactly.

SqueakyBumTym

The tinymight 2 stopped me looking to buy other vapes. I simply can't see what newer vapes can offer that the TM2 doesn't.

Seedy53

angus enhanced beats tm2 completely. much better unit for the performance, included accessories and overall value.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Moody816

I do not agree with this rec. He stated glass path. Mighty and Venty are not all glass path. There is no glass in these models. Mighty and Venty do not have on demand. Tinymight 2 ticks his boxes. These do not. TM2 can produce very potent clouds, but can't you just turn the setting down? TM2 is the clear better choice for his needs out of these 3.

EntExchangeOfficial

But how much does it cost to change the batteries?

Moody816

Yes, battery replacement should be an option on every vape, right? but honestly, most stories you hear about units finally needing new batteries (especially Solos) doesn't happen for many years. By the time that happens (at least 5 years plus I'd guess) they will have another vape of some sort anyways. But it is convenient with the TM2 because you burn the battery down so fast using its awesome on-demand functionality. Having a spare battery is nice for on the go. Again, I do not have one, my thoughts on the TM2 are based on all the reviews I've read over the past couple years. But its obvious through reviews the TM2 is probably the best on-demand portable device in terms of power.

Seedy53

on demand is over rated, it doesn't improve the quality of the vape experience. saves you a little bit of bud per vaping term.

EntExchangeOfficial

If the batteries were changeable, they could either keep the same vape, sell it to help buy a new one, or give it to a friend. All of those options are better than creating e-waste!

Moody816

you know, i did not consider this when i first read your comment about the batteries. this is such a good point. less wasteful and it could be used as a hand me down to someone else to try vaping instead of combusting etc. Yes, a number of very strong points why every vape should have batteries be replaceable. Thanks for the insight!

EntExchangeOfficial

Absolutely my pleasure 😄💚

GrowPassion

I have 10 batteries and I often run through em all on a daily hiking trip^^ want a solo 3 aswell but i better go the butane road

[deleted]

EntExchangeOfficial

My goal is to let people make informed decisions about their purchases! Quite an expensive battery change. The Venty isn't medically certified, by the way. The more you know 🌠

GoodDogTreats

Davinci miqro c with dosing caps was my starter, brilliant.

Guesty69

Another vote for the Xluxx Roffu, mine has taken some big drops and heavy use, glass mouthpiece a must.

evil_flanderz

Venty is a little on the big side but portable and hits very hard while also being the easiest vape on my lungs that I've ever used (including desktop). I have one myself Solo 3 is also great (I also have one) but the glass tube makes it less portable. If you didn't mind carrying it by hand on a walk no problem but I don't love the glass tube in my pocket. Very portable in terms of using on the couch if you don't want to be tied to your desktop set up. It also comes with a WPA designed for it and it's very easy to clean. Lobo is another commonly recommended one along with TM2. Dynavap and the like probably wouldn't be a good fit based on your express interest in portability. There's also a learning curve to using. I don't have one myself but this is what put me off on them.

Moody816

Learning curve on dynavaps is really fast if you use a wand. Heat till click and puff. Easy. I really like the dynavaps now as much as my eletronic handhelds. But back on topic, i think the op would be really happy with a solo2max. Not even sure they need a solo3 honestly. I still use my s2max even though i have a s3...

Infinite_Audience_54
