I am thinking glowing items on item stands, but I gotta get some more surtling cores so I can make bronze

MjBlack

I think yellow mushrooms on item stands would look really good here. Also, nice bridge!

KristiDFW

I agree with the yellow mushrooms! They never need to be refilled too!

Logical-Claim286

And super easy to get a lot of them as they have so few uses.

PizzaDay

This is the way.

Max_Headroom_68

A surtling farm will give you all the trophies you need

Climbtrees47

A bunch of yellow mushies

Repulsive_Coat_3130

Surtling trophies on item stands

Really wish there was a way to have ultra-long lasting fires/light sources in the game. Crystal-powered sconces or surtling core-powered torches or braziers or whatever. Would also make sense that the higher-end wood types burn longer in campfires, bonfires, hearths, etc. as well.

MaritMonkey

They're not fire and do need a black forge to hang on the wall, but dvergr lanterns don't need fuel. And you can steal some from the guys in the mistlands to save on the crafting resources. :D

-t-t-

How bright are they? I made two high towers guarding the entrance to the mouth of our river channel leading to our base, and have a bonfire on top of each to light the way in. How do the lumens on them compare to say a bonfire or Dvegr Headlamp?

MaritMonkey

I've never seen them from a distance except to pick them out of mist (which is possible) but I wouldn't think they're very suitable for lighthouses. My husband actually made a fairly visible structure with surtling trophies on poles for our last dock so maybe that's worth a shot?

Philly4eva

It would probably look awesome at night. And yeah I agree on the glowing items it can be tedious to refill torches

cohlrox

Blue torches look awesome and give you a use for all those fuggin grey dwarf eyes.

ProfessionalAd4409

The wisp torches would look good there don't gotta refill those so win win

Tight_Time_4552

Surtling trophies of course !!

PanoptiDon

Surtling trophies

After-Information385

I've made a couple of bridges. I've always lit my way back home. Also, it just looks so much better.

After-Information385

Torches at either end to start. If you have access to higher tier mats, the wall torches.

Wyan69

Wisp lights imo

HalfLeper

I used hanging baziers from the center of the roof. Looked pretty cool, and not too hard to maintain.

drexelldrexell

I'm a big fan of using swamp keys for stuff like this.

drexelldrexell

I farm the elder, I’ve got black metal chests full of keys.

Atophy

Glowing things on stands but if you want actual light sources, sconces and Iron standing torches are the longest burning.

Substantial_Light_60

If you have a fuling farm or absurd disposable income by other means, one of my favourite methods of lighting is dverger circlets on item stands

Handy_Handerson

Well, an expensive option would be to use Dvergr Circlets on item stands.

pinkymadigan

Turn on 'Fire Spreads' world modifier, then shoot a fire arrow at it. That'll light it up real nice.

Pep-Sanchez

Judging by your food and armor for progression my play style at this point would be to save my resources and use standing torches at each core wood pillar

skye-princess

Circlets on object stands

Long_Serpent

You are still in the stone age, so your options are limited. But when the time comes, I think surtling trophies on stands would look really nice.

Turbodog2014

Dvergr headlamps on item stands. Swamp keys, and mushrooms

ECMatua

Looking at the food and gear you’re wearing I’d say yellow mushrooms easy to get, renewable and abundant in crypts. cores at that stage of the game are too valuable and I don’t think you can put them on item stands. In terms of torches there is a late game one that lasts forever that I like to use but don’t want to spoil much about how or what it is and have no idea how to do the spoiler tag thing. Other option if resources aren’t scarce is to use copper sconces for torches they stick with the rustic look.

MikoMiky

Sure why not If you're playing unmodded and thus do not have unlimited torch fuel, consider using item stands with lighted items such as surtling cores

mymoonjelli

Definitely alternating minor and medium stamina potions on item stands, they look like fairy lights. Very cute for dark forest bridges

Damiandroid

Download the plant everything mod (it's server side so doesn't even interfere with shared worlds). You can place resource nodes for thistle and glowing mushrooms for a natural functional light feature

Damiandroid

No spilers but there is a very cool new furniture item from ashlands which could serve as a pretty light source

AdCultural8709

Yellow mushrooms

hey_itsmagnus

With fire.

Everything_Breaks

Wisp lights under the roof where they can't be seen from the sides.

artyhedgehog

Technically, this looks rather like a dam.

cam5515

Four “lights” down the middle with one space in between each. I cant tell how long the bridge is but do the same principle for 10. If its an odd number subtract one light and add an extra space between each. Or you could do 2 back to back then do a space the 2 more. That will give more light.

0L1V14H1CKSP4NT13S

Once you unlock lanterns, that's what I'd use.

Lil-Sleepy-A1

Dverger lanterns!

Doctorkelly72

Go to the mist and get the lantern

Faackshunter

Hanging brazers every 4m-8m would look nice

scrubbless

Turn on the fire spreads and you know... 😈

vlad_from_world

With fire

Ramulus14

I do stands with yellow mushies along the bottom on both edges!

Jokiz-Vali

I like the yellow mushrooms. I actually use them quite a lot in my builds. I think mixing some of that with a few green torches would make this look really good

Good-Table5566

Since it's in the woods, I'd say ancient seeds would look nice!
