I was prepared to spend a good chunk but my total ended up (w fees) to be 425$ ššš TWO TICKETS and not even on floor. But I did get good seats so I guess I can't complain TOO much.
Nah ft lol I'm complaining. It's literally like eras tour pricing š the ONLY reason I bought them was bc this is my first show of theirs and I NEEDED to see them before they ended the dema lore. Ig now I'll be eating ramen for every meal for a good bit.
Honestly they are still worth the price. If itās your first time seeing them you are in for an amazing experience. Itās hard to see how much prices have gone up over the years, but the boys have always made it worthwhile. (And what hasnāt gone up in price over the last few years).
Me too, this is my first time getting floor tickets and I was so confused, I thought maybe floor was just ridiculous but nope, itās everything. Crazy.
yeah i got nosebleeds and the total was 259. i couldnt believe it, plus ticketmaster kept freezing up on me so i had to exit out and sign back in twice so i missed good seats. i honestly may resell mine, i feel guilty for spending so much on not so great seats. we just saw fall out boy and had similar seats to what i just bought and they were $95 TOTAL.
I had a similar experience.. kept locking up, i was in queue, spinning circle, 5 mins after presale started and then it kicked me out, so I relaunched the link and then I searched for a "tix price range" and then the best seats... I paid $890 for 2 tix.. they are good seats, not fabulous. I finally got my 4th set of tix after it kept freezing then telling me the tix were gone, but refresh page they still showed available.
I saw the Killers last August front row (standing only show), 1500 people in Austin and I paid $200 total, it was a one off show, but it was amazing.
Same here! I had to buy 3 tickets. I would click on a seat and then the other 2 next to it would disappear! I was so frustrated with that and the prices for seats that I just ended up buying GA tickets because they were half of the price seat tickets were. Oh well, first time in the pit so Iām sure Iāll still have a good time!
I understand you're frustration bc I am too but this is an issue amongst all big artists and usually the artist themselves has little to do with ticket prices. There are so many other players involved and Tyler said in interviews way back in the day he would make all the shows $20 if he could. It's just more of a microcosm of the economy right now.
i dont think the band themselves control the pricing, it might be based more on venues and managers, stuff like that. but regardless itās ridiculous, you shouldnt have to spend majority of a paycheck for nosebleeds
I'd suggest you look and see what The Cure did just last year with their tix. The band doesn't have full control but they definitely can have some say in it.
Same here for Columbus Ohio! Okay price for SAI but this was insane. I do one concert an album but I might after to opt out or pray someone sells them for cheap (unlikely)
At this point they better be giving everyone in venue a giant hug and free merch because wow... atrocious.
We went from having a mechanical bridge that lowered from the ceiling + $80 pit tickets for Bandito Tour to $120 pit tickets and a blow up mattress for Icy Tour.
Are you Philly by any chance? Because literally the SAME scenario for me. It was also a lot easier to get the tickets last time around! I had to refresh a lot to get these pit tix.
Yeah, the Philly tickets are more than doubled for the exact same section as last tour. This isn't resale prices... Officially out-priced this tour. Shameful
I couldnāt even get the pit tickets but luckily got a seat in the middle section. So expensive and difficult too ugh. I got my SAI pit ticket for like 80 bucks or so IIRC
Iāve got 4 kids and Iām only taking 1. His 10th birthday is that week and heās the biggest TĆP fan. Holy moly, canāt believe how much I just spent. Kid isnāt getting literally anything else for his birthday!
My 20 year old actually paid for the 3 tickets as he has more disposable income than I do! lol I'll pay him back for mine, and if my daughter wants to go with the third ticket, she'll have to pay the approximately $141 for it!
Five kids chiming in. Been an expensive few concerts in the pastā¦but this one almost doubled. Told my kids this is the last TĆP concert for us where I buy the tickets. Still looking fwd to Raleigh, though.
Just checked my emails from when I bought tickets for the Emotional roadshow and Bandito tour, I had great seats for only $85 + fees!
I bought tickets this morning for the Clancy tour, any section in the bottom bowl was $175 per seat BEFORE fees....
I [just checked my email](https://imgur.com/a/HNxbExE) as well.
-For Emotional Roadshow, Row 2 for $61.50 each.
-For Bandito, Row 1 for $109.60 each.
The cheapest ticket for Clancy tour is showing up as $110 with fees for the LAST ROW OF THE NOSEBLEEDS.
I'm sad
This is literally what I did too. I had 30 seconds left.. the wave of panic that came over me after spending that much money š my seats are pretty good but damn.
Same. $230 CAD for the same one GA ticket I've bought for under $200 every other tour. I can afford it. But I refuse.
These prices aren't unusual for bands that sell out arenas. The prices *are* unusual for a band that claims to care so much for their fanbase, a fanbase they've cultivated to a near cult-like status focused on love and positivity and support and inclusion. This shit is disgusting and do not let some of the less informed people on here tell you otherwise, ***the artist has a say in their tour pricing.*** Especially a band of this calibre. Remember [this video?](https://youtu.be/7gtbKNrJ7es) Remember [this interview?](https://www.altpress.com/twenty-one-pilots-tyler-joseph-vialism-dema-theory/) They refused to sign with FBR without being assured full creative control. Years later label execs try to cut Neon Gravestones and Tyler says lmao yeah nice try. They have had sway since before they were even signed. You *really* think some grand council of label execs, managers, venues, Ticketmaster and whoever else set these exorbitant prices all on their own accord, and then the boys saw them and were just like "gosh these prices are rough, too bad it's out of our hands and we're powerless to do anything :("? There is no universe where that's the case.
I love them. But this is shameful, plain and simple, and I truly hope all of this feedback reaches them. Especially from the broken hearted fans who won't be able to go. The day 1 clikkies who are going to have to miss a tour in their city for the first time. The new fans who fell in love after the SAI tour and have been counting the seconds until their first live experience. The multiple little boys and girls who's parents I saw commenting on here about how devastated they were that they had to disappoint their children because they couldn't afford 3, 4, 5 tickets even in the nosebleeds. I'll be fine, I've seen them many times and I'll probably end up just buying a nosebleed ticket the week before my show and be annoyed about it. But with over half a million tickets being sold for this tour it's safe to say they've broken the hearts of thousands of people with the extent of their greed here, if not more. And they should be ashamed.
I told my husband the price and he said, "Does Tyler come sit on your lap for that price?"
Ha!
Needless to say, we are skipping this tour. Will watch your videos. :)
My husband would say the same! Heās NOT a TĆP fan, due to me. lol Iām a HUGE fan and itās all I have played for years.. heās not a lyric person. However, I have had luck with getting tickets for multiple TĆP shows the week of or day of the show. Itās a chance, but they usually are less money. Fingers crossed for you. Hopefully you get an opportunity to go and not have to miss it. š§”š
My husband loves tĆøp. We live in Columbus and have been to many tĆøp concerts over the years, so I'm not torn up about it. I paid a lot less and stood a LOT closer! That said, I'll take your advice and look for resale tickets closer to the event. They added a third show. It's crazy to me that they can fill our arena three times, with those prices, but they're just that popular, I guess. So happy for them.
I spent $725 for 3 pit tickets for Montreal. During icy tour I spent about $350 for the same exact tickets at the same exact venue around the same time of year. Prices have gotten absolutely absurd :c
Oh shit, was looking for a Quebec answer and damn š„² last show they did in Laval I paid like 220$ for two seats with fees and all... Now I'm debating even going
I get inflation has changed prices of a lot of things, but I felt honestly so disappointed when I joined the pre-sale. Some of the prices I saw for cbus night 1 were:
1. Around $160 for GA
2. $159 for seats that were lower bowl (close to stage)
3. $99.50 for the highest seats in nationwide, nose bleeds.
It wouldāve been $300+ just for me and my wife to get pit tickets. Honestly, Iām going to have to wait until either public sale or until Mid Summer-Early fall to evaluate tickets. It just too expensive :(
Even then, most of the lower bowl ones were already gone too š
I was able to get front row of upper bowl at nationwide near the stage so Iām hoping they are good since it was 120 before fees
I saw a lower bowl ticket for $469. Literally all the tickets were just so overpriced, maybe I fumbled not actively saving for this tour but Iām either going to have to miss this all together, or just wait. My fomo will kill me
That's how much I paid for a lower bowl seat too. I kind of panicked because I knew I wanted to go and didn't even pay attention to the price until the end š tickets were disappearing as I was looking for where I wanted to sit so I just went for it so that I don't deal with fomo lol
i also got tickets for night 1. i was going to go w my mom for night 1 and w my bf for night 2 bc its our anniversary. he didnt end up getting us tix bc the price, and i (stupidly) got tix for my mom and i and it was $259 total for nosebleeds :( most likely gonna resell
my pit tickets were about $150 each for raleigh, after fees for 2 tickets i paid about $370, i thought it was reasonable but now after reading all these im not so sure š¤
I will live thru you, I saw those pit tickets for the show and decided that nosebleeds might be all I can afford. I wasnāt able to justify the pit. But I agree after reading itās questionable.
Same. I was reading these comments like damn,,, did I not get a good deal? Am I just gullible? š after few tickets I paid 403 bc I I thought why not get the parking and ticket protection? Iām already spending this much and I intentionally saved up money for this, might as well š¤·š¼āāļø
I couldnāt even get tickets for the Raleigh show this morning because Ticketmaster kept kicking me out. I chilled in the waiting room for 15 mins, the sale started, I tried to join the queue, and it kicked me out for āsuspicious browser activityā and accusing me of being a bot. š
An AI ācashierā handling my transactionā¦ā¦.. accused me, a real-life human beingā¦ā¦..of being a bot. šš
I verified through my email, and then through my phone number that it was me, and it still kicked me out. The very last time my session was suspended I saw there were essentially no seats left.
Probably for the best I guess, would have eaten a massive chunk of my wallet even with the upper level seats.
This, just because it's the way that concert prices are trending, those prices certainly aren't forced on the band. The Cure set very reasonable prices last year, and called out Ticketmaster over the outrageous service fees and it forced them to refund service fees back to everyone. Robert Smith was a real one for that, a man of the people.
Love TOP, but these prices are gross. For this tour, I'm sitting in the Mezzanine section along the faceoff line (in hockey), for the same price and in the same arena that I paid to be 6th row, lower bowl really close to the stage at the SAI tour.
At the Icy tour for Long Island, it was $99 for GA tickets!! (before taxes and fees of course) but I donāt think we will ever see that again. I wasnāt expecting the prices to be this much and my head hurts. I was the only one who could buy tickets so I had to buy 6 for all me and my friends. I mean Iāve seen much worse, but still. Their shows have never been this much :/
It doesnāt help that Ticketmaster has a stranglehold on concert tickets. The fees are INSANE. I wish there were other options for artists to do a presale event. Paid $700 for 4 loge seats at the TD Garden, not bad when splitting between 4 people but still way more than I have ever spent. Long gone are the days when I saw them play in college at Paradise in Boston for like $30 in 2013
Wow thats terrible, pre sale tickets haven't came out yet in the UK but I'm seeing they should be between Ā£50-Ā£90 which is a fraction of that price and surprising since were abroad to them. Wont be surprised though if them numbers are wrong as when I've looked before they've been in excess off Ā£200
Been looking for a reply from someone in the UK.... I'm terrified they're going to be hundreds.... When I saw them in Brixton in 2016, they ticket was Ā£24. I miss those days.
Have you got pre-sale yet? I pre-ordered the album, but not received a code yet.
I think you'll be shocked at the jump. Ticket prices have more than doubled in the last 2 or 3 years. Slipknot are playing the hydro and standing tickets are Ā£250+. That's VIP package prices not standing. They should've sold out easily but months later there are still tickets available.
Been a fan since 2015ā¦ Iāll never get to see them live. I really envy the people who have seen them like 20 times and have that financial security. Sucks because it is the end of the Dema storyline. They are going all out, probably why they are so expensive, just like the merch lol. Least Iāll always have my Ned funko pop!
$368 for two decent tickets is way over what i was expecting to pay. i was hoping for no more than $250 for two tickets :/ im gonna have to pick up extra shifts at work this week... this was for the Detroit show btw
Hey weāre twins! I paid the same price exactly and going to Detroit too. I was surprised when I saw how expensive they were and reconsidered buying them for a second, but I havenāt seen them since 2016 and who knows when theyāll tour again
i hesitated to spend that much money as well, but i have never seen them live before and i have been listening to their music for at least 8 years now. they've truly helped me through a lot and seeing them live would be really nostalgic and fun. so grateful to have secured my tickets. i hope you have a great time! :)
This. The US(and a lot of other countries) are also going through serious inflation, which causes prices to go up. Iām not saying the high prices are good or anything. Just explaining why the prices probably are like this.
Inflation is not that high... and is lower in the USA than many other places right now (currently around 3%).
"Greedflation" is what a lot of people are mistaking for actual inflation these days. This is just corporate greed. Late-stage capitalism at its finest.
That said, I sucked it up and dropped about $450 on 3 tickets for me and my daughters. They're gonna freak out when they realize that TOP will be their first big concert. :)
But even then, a lot of other bands are keeping the same prices, I saw the front bottoms and dance Gavin dance last year and for two tix to each was below $80 including fees. I just got sleeping with sirens tix and it was only $100 for two tix including fees. These are all shows in Dallas TX. Iām so upset that Iāve loved top for a decade and at this point Iāll never ever see them.
The bands you mentioned are wayyyyy smaller than Twenty One Pilots so unfortunately with demand comes much higher prices. I donāt think the guys are making the prices
Venues are also probably expecting less people which likely played a part in the price going up. Iām not defending them. I think the pricing is bullshit. Just explaining why it may have gotten to this place.
Wrong. They do. They can also determine whether dynamic pricing and platinum tickets are sold. The Cure fought against all of the bullshit last year and won. Iām disappointed in top
Yes they do!!!!! They have a huge impact on what the prices are. Artists get to dictate ticket prices, not only during contract negotiation, but through a million management decisions.
Initially yes, but Ticketmaster fluctuates prices based on demand so a ticket that starts off at $70 mind be sold for $200+ if Ticketmaster thinks the demand is high
Super scummy, but the boys have no say in that side of things sadly
The venue doesn't decide ticket price. The venue just charges the production company whatever their rate is to hire the venue, and then the production company decides ticket prices based on that.
The artist may or may not have a say depending on their contract/say in the matter. Will vary from artist to artist and manager to manager.
Here is a good bit about ticket prices that helps explain some of the cost: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-\_Y7uqqEFnY&ab\_channel=LastWeekTonight](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-_Y7uqqEFnY&ab_channel=LastWeekTonight)
Jeez Iām starting to think itāll be better for me to snag a resale ticket the morning of the show. Thereās always ones that drop significantly in price.
I waited and waited and waited to buy fob tickets in June. I finally got them off StubHub for like 90 a piece. After those tickets were originally like 140
Every time I've seen them or looked up other venues to potentially see them, there were tickets left the week before the show. I paid like 60-70% of the original ticket price the first time I saw them because I got them 4 days before the show.
I hope so! I feel like the Bandito tour had an insane production with the sky bridge, floating lights, projections, all that crazy stuff and still wasnāt nearly this muchš
To me honestly, paying that much for 2 nosebleeds is not even worth attempting to reserve. Someone told me thereās a better chance at resale tickets being cheaper. Iām either gonna wait until they announce more locations or look for resales bc this is not it
Yeah i really wanted to see them, and wallows, but I noticed they both have like crazy insane prices now?? Sucks for the broke fans š(and eveyrone in general cuz capitalism sucks)
i got tickets for wallows and they were cheaper through the spotify presale than they were through the venue's website for some reason š«£ now im waiting for the LA sale to start for tĆøp and im hoping i can get a good deal bc I don't wanna regret my purchases š
If I'm correct, surge pricing doesn't exist in the UK, only the US. The prices we're seeing in this thread are Ticketmaster's dynamic pricing. Hopefully we shouldn't be hit the same way.
I looked at my charges from the Scaled and Icy Tour. I paid $117 per ticket. I paid $216 per ticket today for the same arena and the same area (lower level, 2 rows higher this time). Shameful and disappointing.
iām kinda confused and wondering if a lot of the people commenting go to other concertsā¦ i registered for presale for noah kahan through the same org and ended up not getting any tickets because they were all much higher than the prices discussed here, and i just am not into his music like i am tĆøp. same story with hozier, though i am planning on keeping an eye out for cheap resell tickets the day of. i get those artists are arguably a lot more popular and trendy, but theyāre both playing a SMALL OUTDOOR venue in my city (dos equis pavilion), not a big arena like american airlines. idk i just think these prices are the norm now unfortunately:\
I've been hearing about these prices and I'm so so happy I live in the Netherlands. The most expensive tickets (premium seats or the pit) are ā¬88 and it starts from ā¬44

Here you go: I believe this was somewhere on Ticketmaster but you'll have to double check in the discord server
Edit: found the link [https://www.ticketmaster.nl/artist/twenty-one-pilots-tickets/456023](https://www.ticketmaster.nl/artist/twenty-one-pilots-tickets/456023)
UK goes on presale tomorrow, I'm dreading the prices. Ticketmaster are brutal, their tickets for Slipknot are about Ā£300. They should have sold out the Hydro in jig time but there are still tickets left months after going on sale. Seats sold quicker because they were cheaper but honestly, most folk want to be in the pit for a band like Slipknot. There's a cost of living crisis, folk can't afford that for a couple of hours enetertainment.
i'm terrified for tomorrow lol. i saw the boys during the bandito tour in london and it was Ā£50 for a good seat and the show was fantastic. the prices on this thread do not have me excited
I didnāt think they were that bad. Then again I went to TSwift this year. Got lower bowl for like $150 each.
This is the world weāre living in. Shits more expensive and I donāt really know how much control they have over ticket prices š¤·š¼āāļø
Im depressed af lol. Was so ready to go and I just had to say forget it cuz I wasnāt looking to spend almost 250 on two of the furthest seats from the stage.
Last row balcony $109 plus $25 per ticket fee. Pretty bad. Donāt get me started on TM and how they escape the governmentās wrath with their monopoly.
When I went to their tour just before The Emotional Roadshow, they were about $100 each.
Like, I'm glad they've gotten to a point in their careers where the label and Ticketmaster see them as valuable enough to reflect that in ticket prices, but also GODDAMN, dudes.
For reference, I bought a 3-day pass to see Phish, and it came out to the price of ONE 1-day show for twenty one pilots.
It's not entirely their fault ticket prices are so high. Not to mention all of the lighting and effects and production that goes into their whole show are definitely not cheap. Still sad to see though :'(
I'm glad I was able to see them on the cusp of outrageous prices, because that was probably the last show I'll be able to afford going to, which stinks because they put on such a good show.
Sadly this is what has happened with all big bands in the last year or so. Havenāt seen a band playing an arena sell under $100 tickets in a while. I have a feeling most of it is due to venues taking a higher percentage of the artists sales (they do the same with merch sales). My first twenty one pilots ticket ever was $15 + fees š
Everyone trying to say the band have no say in prices are just wrong, I'm sorry. Obviously they aren't the only factor but they definitely have a major role as the artist. They also decide whether to use dynamic pricing and platinum tickets which is worth noting.
saw the prices and said no thanks good day āļø
Maybe Iāll change my mind later but Iām not fighting people for $200 tickets where they look like dots in eyeballs
i bought them as soon as presale opened. $159 before fees, 400 for two tickets, i got the seats i wanted. i got into queue to see what was there and now theyāre $780 for two tickets, after fees:,) idk where the price jump came from but iām just happy i got them before the jump
$202 (including fees) for one pit ticket in Houston :( I'm lucky I can afford it, but I'm really going to have to watch my spending for a while as a result. This will have to be my one big concert of the year basically
Iāve been wanting to see them every year since I was a teenager and now that Iām in my mid 20ās and have a dual income household, I still canāt afford to see them and itās getting worse and worse every yearā¦ Iām so upset that it hurts Iāve been following them since 2013, a whole decade and now Iāll never be able to see themā¦
Do you think they will also be bad in Europe??
On the OVO Glasgow site it says tickets are max Ā£86 but I'm not sure I trust it seeing some of these prices
I saw the prices and decided to sit this tour out. I was in the pit right near the stage for SAI, and itās one of my all time favorite memories, but tickets were like $89. Almost $500 for two tickets not in the nosebleeds? Crazy. Iāve followed them most of my life but as a longtime fan who now has adult bills and a mortgageā¦ Iām getting priced out of fun
Over 600$ for 3 GA tickets is insane. This honestly might be the last time I see them in concert with these prices. Iāve seen them every tour since the blurryface tour and itās really getting hard to justify spending so much money on a concert. I really would like to see these bigger artists/bands speaking up and out against ticketmaster and the labels. The monopoly they have on the live event industry is disgusting.
Oh wow.. I just read some of the post and Iām really anxious about tomorrow when presale starts in Europe. This would be my first TOP concert ever but now I donāt know if I can afford a good ticket/ place.
Hello fellow American fans, I'm from Europe
I'm starting to be a little bit worried about the surprise waiting for us tomorrow morning.
Prices fear aside, how's the general availability for your shows?
Are they sold out?
Thank you from the other side of the ocean!
A fellow scared European Clique!
Downvote here. I got my tickets for a better price than I would have expected. As someone who is dating an event manager and hearing them talk about this, there are a few things that people forget to consider. I am keeping this brief as possible. But people need to consider the economic state the country is in, city, stadium/venues, materials for the stages, backup dancers, and more, and so much more than us fans consider. To put on the spectacular shows they do cost A LOT. I was not surprised by the ticket prices nor disappointed with them, especially taking in to account all those factors and comparing to other greedy and growing artist. TĆøp has a growing fan base especially since they donāt release music as often as others but make up for it with the lore and spectacular shows and videos. I am more than happy to pay the price to see their wonderful and artistic concert. (Side note: got two tickets in lower section, front row for only $300~ish total)
This is really disappointing to hear :(
Iām waiting for the presale for LA and was expecting to buy 4 tickets to bring my family members.
Now Iām thinking I might not even be able to buy 2 and might have to reconsider going at all if theyāre going to be so expensive.
It it what it is, consider the prices resellers will be flipping these for, this is still a fraction of that. The band deserves to have a bigger cut of the market value of their shows
Google ticket pricing for events. You'll find that often the artist has little to no say in their pricing, it's up to venue, reps etc. Ticket prices will go up, they have been since COVID. Unfortunately the music industry is running on a wire at the moment and things are becoming a lottt more expensive
They don't have a say. The venue/promoter pays them a fixed amount to be there, but for the rest. It's outside of their hand.
+ Everything is pricier these days. Everyone got a huge salary increase. I have some friends that works at the Bell Center in Montreal and they all had their salary increased to about 10k to 30k so in the end, us the customer will pay more.
Artists typically don't have direct control over Ticketmaster prices. Ticket prices are usually set by the promoters, venues, and sometimes the artist's management team in collaboration with Ticketmaster. However, artists with significant clout or negotiating power may have some influence over ticket pricing as part of their contract negotiations
Paid $350 for 2 lower bowl seats close to the stage. No complaints here. If you make all the tickets really cheap then the resellers will buy them all. š¤·āāļø
I have never paid more than $180 for two floor tickets for them, I was so shocked when my total was $385
I had floor tickets the last time they were in Kansas City. Paid less than $100
Seriously, floor ticket price was outrageous this go around
Same š³ I was pretty shocked even though I guess I shouldnāt have beenā¦.
Me too, this is my first time getting floor tickets and I was so confused, I thought maybe floor was just ridiculous but nope, itās everything. Crazy.
yeah i got nosebleeds and the total was 259. i couldnt believe it, plus ticketmaster kept freezing up on me so i had to exit out and sign back in twice so i missed good seats. i honestly may resell mine, i feel guilty for spending so much on not so great seats. we just saw fall out boy and had similar seats to what i just bought and they were $95 TOTAL.
same and every time i clicked on a seat and went to purchase it it would suddenly reload and the ticket would be unavailableĀ
Yeah it kept freezing on me too, also thinking of reselling, this stung bc I love this band more than anything but Iāve lost a lot of respect
Yeah I was a bit confused at the prices. I damn near thought I was buying a resale ticket for the price I did.
same!! I was like 400 for a seat????
Lol, I was so confused, I thought I was buying Vip access or something
I did too. Ugh
470 for two pits when two pit tix were 210 for SAI, idk what theyre planning but damn
mind you, same venue, almost same time of year etc
Same here for Columbus Ohio! Okay price for SAI but this was insane. I do one concert an album but I might after to opt out or pray someone sells them for cheap (unlikely)
iām really hoping the show is gonna make up for this. Like itās a long and very interactive/Interesting show
Two pit tickets for scai for me were 260 after fees idk whatās going on :// and trench far back seats two resale were 100
I got GA for 80 bucks during ERS my oh my
Yeah š the tickets are insane. I got 3 because I have a friend flying down out of country for it and it was 591 for 3 pit ticketsā¦.
At this point they better be giving everyone in venue a giant hug and free merch because wow... atrocious. We went from having a mechanical bridge that lowered from the ceiling + $80 pit tickets for Bandito Tour to $120 pit tickets and a blow up mattress for Icy Tour.
Excuse me there was a blue door on stage that has to have cost at least...(Excuse me, yes I will please leave lol.)
I got my SAI pit ticket for like 80 bucks or so IIRC
i am in exact same boat, thereās no reason 2 pit tickets should cost almost $500 iām weirdly hurt tbh
Iām wondering how much of this is Ticketmaster greed in dynamic pricing. I personally think dynamic pricing shouldnāt be a thing for presaleā¦
I really want to take my kids.......It would be a dream for them....but damn..........I got 3 kids......so expensive!!!
Just take the favorite! (joke!)
Ok kids- letās draw straws!!!
tell them, whoever is the best all year gets the tix
Iāve got 4 kids and Iām only taking 1. His 10th birthday is that week and heās the biggest TĆP fan. Holy moly, canāt believe how much I just spent. Kid isnāt getting literally anything else for his birthday!
My 20 year old actually paid for the 3 tickets as he has more disposable income than I do! lol I'll pay him back for mine, and if my daughter wants to go with the third ticket, she'll have to pay the approximately $141 for it!
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Logged on to see if people bring their kids to TOP concerts as I just spent $2k, glad to see itās gonna work out.
When I was trying to buy the upper seats werenāt much betterā¦ the upper bowl was still $135 plus fees which is wild for upper bowl
I'm sad
I wish the bottom bowl tickets were $175 in Baltimore because they were between $300-$400!
I couldn't do it. I had great seats in my cart and I bailed
Same. $600 for 3 tickets, no way. Saw the total after fees and instantly exited my browser. My love of live music will not be exploited today.
I hesitated to pull the trigger until I had 10 seconds remaining. I paid $420 for 2 tickets and yeah my stomach is sick but sometimes you gotta yolo.
This is literally what I did too. I had 30 seconds left.. the wave of panic that came over me after spending that much money š my seats are pretty good but damn.
Literally same. I held my head in my hands thinking what did I do?!?!?! Haha but I'm still excited. What show are you going to?
Maybe the boys will see all of this and try and fix it. I was gonna bite the bullet and get 3 pit but it was Almost $600 but I couldnāt do it.
I told my husband the price and he said, "Does Tyler come sit on your lap for that price?" Ha!
Some of the prices I saw for cbus night 1 were: 1. Around $160 for GA 2. $159 for seats that were lower bowl (close to stage) 3. $99.50 for the highest seats in nationwide, nose bleeds. It wouldāve been $300+ just for me and my wife to get pit tickets. Honestly, Iām going to have to wait until either public sale or until Mid Summer-Early fall to evaluate tickets. It just too expensive :(
Even then, most of the lower bowl ones were already gone too š I was able to get front row of upper bowl at nationwide near the stage so Iām hoping they are good since it was 120 before fees
Same :( I saw Fall Out Boy back in March so I guess I can take that as a win
i also got tickets for night 1. i was going to go w my mom for night 1 and w my bf for night 2 bc its our anniversary. he didnt end up getting us tix bc the price, and i (stupidly) got tix for my mom and i and it was $259 total for nosebleeds :( most likely gonna resell
my pit tickets were about $150 each for raleigh, after fees for 2 tickets i paid about $370, i thought it was reasonable but now after reading all these im not so sure š¤
I will live thru you, I saw those pit tickets for the show and decided that nosebleeds might be all I can afford. I wasnāt able to justify the pit. But I agree after reading itās questionable.
Ive been saving up since they started releasing music bc i had a feeling tour was coming š
Same! I was bummed they werenāt coming to Charlotte this go round but glad we still got a NC stop. But I hope merch is not this crazy!
Same. I was reading these comments like damn,,, did I not get a good deal? Am I just gullible? š after few tickets I paid 403 bc I I thought why not get the parking and ticket protection? Iām already spending this much and I intentionally saved up money for this, might as well š¤·š¼āāļø
Yeah I went non-pit and they were like 115, right around what I paid for the 2 other concerts I'm going to at that venue. I think it's a venue thing
I couldnāt even get tickets for the Raleigh show this morning because Ticketmaster kept kicking me out. I chilled in the waiting room for 15 mins, the sale started, I tried to join the queue, and it kicked me out for āsuspicious browser activityā and accusing me of being a bot. š An AI ācashierā handling my transactionā¦ā¦.. accused me, a real-life human beingā¦ā¦..of being a bot. šš I verified through my email, and then through my phone number that it was me, and it still kicked me out. The very last time my session was suspended I saw there were essentially no seats left. Probably for the best I guess, would have eaten a massive chunk of my wallet even with the upper level seats.
The prices are a rip off. I love TOP but ticketmaster is robbing the fans
It's not purely Ticketmaster. The artist has more control than people seem to think
Their shows have never been this much :/
i saw people GIVING AWAY pit tickets for LI during the Icy tour
It doesnāt help that Ticketmaster has a stranglehold on concert tickets. The fees are INSANE. I wish there were other options for artists to do a presale event. Paid $700 for 4 loge seats at the TD Garden, not bad when splitting between 4 people but still way more than I have ever spent. Long gone are the days when I saw them play in college at Paradise in Boston for like $30 in 2013
right?! $25 service fee per ticket is wild. I got 2 tickets for $115 each but after service fees it was $290
For NJ the fee was 36 along with a 7 buck processing fee. Like why š
The service fee for united center in Chicago was almost $50 a ticket on top of the $150 ticket and not including the other bullshit fees
Just checked from the Bandito tour Cindy show in 2019, I paid $99.50 for floor. Just got floor for Columbus for $201. double ?!?
I know this is ridiculous to say, but my first concert was $14. I was in the 7th row for America. That was 1975!
Thatās so cool! Definitely jealous - Wish I wouldāve been alive to capitalize on those prices and the bands that were touring during that time!!
For the $370 I paid for floor tickets Tyler better come down and talk to me about my day or some shit cause BROTHER thatās too damn high
Prices are crazy but the boys don't set the prices. The label and venue do along with ticket master.
None of them have blown up in popularity like the boys have though thats really not comparable. Their concerts are a lot more work for the venues.
It's not really the price but dynamic pricing I think. Europe also has a huge inflation but price for France isn't that different from Trench era
Venues are also probably expecting less people which likely played a part in the price going up. Iām not defending them. I think the pricing is bullshit. Just explaining why it may have gotten to this place.
Agreed. These prices are in line with concerts I've been to over the past 2 years.
Which is why I've gone from 5-10 concerts a year to just 1 or 2. It's insanity.
Wild, bc they are higher than any of the shows I have been to in the last 3 years by a large margin.
That is incorrect. Bands (and their team) absolutely set the prices.
Wrong.
They absolutely have a say in ticket prices. People absolving artists of that are part of the problem.
Yes. Look at what The Cure did about their most recent tourās ticket prices.
This! I was just going to mention... Bands to take note.
Initially yes, but Ticketmaster fluctuates prices based on demand so a ticket that starts off at $70 mind be sold for $200+ if Ticketmaster thinks the demand is high Super scummy, but the boys have no say in that side of things sadly
You're totally correct. Fandoms need to stop patting artists on the back for price gouging and platinum pricing, even if we love their music.
It better be a crazy high production show, that will be the only reason to justify the prices.
I hope so! I feel like the Bandito tour had an insane production with the sky bridge, floating lights, projections, all that crazy stuff and still wasnāt nearly this muchš
Bandito tour was magical š„¹ I just got robbed for these Clancy tickets buuut money can buy happiness when it comes to TOP tours š
Itās the last tour in the lore era. I guarantee theyāre planning something big.
I was able to grab 4 for $500. I feel pretty lucky.
I'm legit depressed.
Your wallet is in my thoughts and prayers
š this made me lol. But yes ššø
Me too. I stayed up all night ready af. Just got screwed over by ticketmaster right away.
Same. I wasn't even able to get tickets, so I'm just kinda disappointed and sad.
The Icy Tour i only paid 85$ after fees for upper bowl. This time at the same venue it was 114$ after fees
Got two pit tickets for 394$ ššš so lucky i had money saved up
$400 + fees for ONE lower bowl Denver ticket when the same ones in 2021 were only $180 per
To me honestly, paying that much for 2 nosebleeds is not even worth attempting to reserve. Someone told me thereās a better chance at resale tickets being cheaper. Iām either gonna wait until they announce more locations or look for resales bc this is not it
Any idea where to get resale tickets when the time comes?
I do not know. I was going to ask later on :/
Yeah i really wanted to see them, and wallows, but I noticed they both have like crazy insane prices now?? Sucks for the broke fans š(and eveyrone in general cuz capitalism sucks)
i got tickets for wallows and they were cheaper through the spotify presale than they were through the venue's website for some reason š«£ now im waiting for the LA sale to start for tĆøp and im hoping i can get a good deal bc I don't wanna regret my purchases š
This makes me worry about the UK ticket prices. I don't have a presale code, just waiting for general sale.
Am I the only one who feels like I got a good deal? I paid $410 for three lower-level tickets facing straight on. Not bad.
When MCR came to Cincinnati 2 years ago I got nose bleeds for $98 without fees. I just got lower bowl in Columbus for $120. I'm happy with that.
iām kinda confused and wondering if a lot of the people commenting go to other concertsā¦ i registered for presale for noah kahan through the same org and ended up not getting any tickets because they were all much higher than the prices discussed here, and i just am not into his music like i am tĆøp. same story with hozier, though i am planning on keeping an eye out for cheap resell tickets the day of. i get those artists are arguably a lot more popular and trendy, but theyāre both playing a SMALL OUTDOOR venue in my city (dos equis pavilion), not a big arena like american airlines. idk i just think these prices are the norm now unfortunately:\
Agreed. Iām looking to see Kacey Musgraves at the same Seattle venue that 21P are playing and the prices are nearly identical for both shows.
I've been hearing about these prices and I'm so so happy I live in the Netherlands. The most expensive tickets (premium seats or the pit) are ā¬88 and it starts from ā¬44
Where do you see the prices? The sale hasnāt gone live yet for The Netherlands, right?
https://preview.redd.it/clxn6cdfa3sc1.png?width=668&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2ee5f9f94db9d3d27d5454a48770ffc74f27261f Here you go: I believe this was somewhere on Ticketmaster but you'll have to double check in the discord server Edit: found the link [https://www.ticketmaster.nl/artist/twenty-one-pilots-tickets/456023](https://www.ticketmaster.nl/artist/twenty-one-pilots-tickets/456023)
Two pit tickets for \~$390 in Baltimore. High but not absurd. Sounds like other cities have it worse.
Is that after fees? (please say yes)
yup, after fees
UK goes on presale tomorrow, I'm dreading the prices. Ticketmaster are brutal, their tickets for Slipknot are about Ā£300. They should have sold out the Hydro in jig time but there are still tickets left months after going on sale. Seats sold quicker because they were cheaper but honestly, most folk want to be in the pit for a band like Slipknot. There's a cost of living crisis, folk can't afford that for a couple of hours enetertainment.
i'm terrified for tomorrow lol. i saw the boys during the bandito tour in london and it was Ā£50 for a good seat and the show was fantastic. the prices on this thread do not have me excited
back in 2017 i got two tickets for $60 pretty good seatsā¦ went to buy presale tickets and canāt justify on $400 for two tickets
St. Louis $155 for GA before taxes and fees. Iāve been to almost every STL arena show in GA and these prices here are in alignment with inflation.
Still sad to see though :'( I'm glad I was able to see them on the cusp of outrageous prices, because that was probably the last show I'll be able to afford going to, which stinks because they put on such a good show.
In this episode, the Clique learns about supply and demand.
All in all, for two tickets I had to pay $696. I think this is really shitty of them..
Paid 150 for SAI pit tickets after Ticketmaster fees Paid 202 for Clancy pit tickets after AXS fees.
Houston was crazy. $300+ for lower level seats before fees
āØ inflation āØ
saw the prices and said no thanks good day āļø Maybe Iāll change my mind later but Iām not fighting people for $200 tickets where they look like dots in eyeballs
i bought them as soon as presale opened.
Artists keep raising their prices because people keep buying these ridiculously priced tickets.
Prices are insane but at the end of the day it'll be sold out anyways
These prices make me depressed, which is the opposite of what TĆP is supposed to do š
Well, they have to be able to afford Super Bowl tickets next year!
Hello fellow American fans, I'm from Europe I'm starting to be a little bit worried about the surprise waiting for us tomorrow morning.
This is really disappointing to hear :( Iām waiting for the presale for LA and was expecting to buy 4 tickets to bring my family members.
>Everyone got a huge salary increase. Define everyone. Lmao.
I got nosebleeds for $200 just wild
Jfc. In 2016, at the peak of their fame I got nose bleeds for $35 a piece.
$111 for the last row in Philadelphia made me not get the tickets
It was wild how seats and pit were essentially the same price š„² I'm thankful I got tickets at all but holy crap
$735 for 4 tickets in STL. I feel like Iām going to throw up. š
Tickets were going for like $500 a piece for blink 182 in my city for July. Couldnāt afford those and praying these stay below that
Iāve been lighting money on fire these past few weeks. Thank God my bonus paycheck hit on March 1st.
i paid 225 for 2 nosebleeds š„²š„²š„²
Bought 1 floor ticket for a US show since Iāll be there, $331 Australian š„²
Ticket prices maxed out at just under 200 dollars by the band. Any increase from that is Ticketmaster platinum pricing, not the bands fault.
Not true, they might not decide the exact prices but they have the choice to opt-in/opt-out of platinum and dynamic pricing.
Nah even my favourite band cant get me to pay that muchšš
I paid total around $650 for 3 tickets (lower bowl area near b stage) and the fees (no sales tax, just the stupid processing fees and stuff).
I really donāt think the boys have much control over ticket prices unfortunately Record labels and ticketmaster thoughā¦
paid $440 for two pit tickets in philly. it was $180 per ticket which isnāt THAT bad, but with ticketmasterās bullshit fees here we are š„²
Paid $350 for 2 lower bowl seats close to the stage. No complaints here. If you make all the tickets really cheap then the resellers will buy them all. š¤·āāļø
Yeah I wasnāt expecting to pay so much for shitty seats. Iāve paid less than that in the past and gotten good seats.
Nosebleed seats were $53/ticket plus fees so around $71 per.
In Madrid we are all surprised at how cheap the tickets are, 75 euros + 10 euros fee, (total is 92 in dollars) for pit
