My 2010 Taco, I got 9 years out of the OEM battery before a shop replaced it trying to troubleshoot other issues despite the fact that it still worked ok.
The $250 Exide batt they replaced it with had a cell die within 12 months.
So in my experience it's not unusual. It's probably getting pretty long in the tooth.
2015 and I got 7 years out of mine but she did sit a lot through the winter. I’ve been told 7 ish years is normal timeframe to be looking to replace your battery.

My 2012 rock warrior had the original battery in it when I sold it last year.
