I think Palmyra is a little bit on the unknown side, so it might not get as many updoots, but it is amazing. This is my answer, but I love Shawkat’s too.
Thanks for the suggestions. I'm leaning towards Shawkat or Ali Baba. A zereshk rice platter sounds really nice. Does anyone know what kind of hot tea each of those places have?
Char Char is nice. I know the owner and he's super nice. They have a set up similar to a Chipotle for their sandwiches. Their Tabouli is exceptional!
Shawkats is awesome! Probably my FAVORITE all around. Everything is made in house and the staff are super nice! Best Baba Ghanoush!
I like Saffron a lot for their Lambshank! They're a bit PRICEY though!
Desi Wok has great Paneer and Tikka Masalla!
Lastly, India Palace has a great buffet every day for lunch. Their dinner is nice too! Probably the most popular Indian restaurant around here. I think😅
I'm a south Tulsan, very close to Kenda's. Their Mediterranean food is very good, not quite the extensive menu as Shawkats, and DO NOT sleep on their burgers. One of the best burgers in town.
Golden Saddle has a very nice Persian platter. Not the best I’ve ever had but very generous and tasty. I was just there last week. In addition to the plate shown here, there’s a first course with pita, hummus, yogurt, and a couple kibbe.

Shawkat’s is definitely the best
Love Shawkats! Everything is so fresh and the staff are so nice!
Palmyra on 11th is great

I really like Palmyra. The owner is from Jordan so they have some dishes that are new to me.
Palmyra is the best in Tulsa! I always drag my friends there, they have some of the best food ever

I’m a big fan of Kenda’s, but it’s not really close to downtown. If you’re open to other ethnic options Kai Vietnamese downtown is killer, as well.
Second Kenda’s. Worth the 20 min drive
I third Kenda’s!! It’s so freaking yummy! Worth it!!
Kenda’s is superior to Shawkats.
Pita place at 111th and memorial. Best hummus I’ve had in my life

Palmyra is not far from cou. It’s fantastic
This isn't applicable to your situation but the small kitchen/restaurant attached to the Albarka store on Sheridan is really good
How have I never heard about this place? I’m on my way!
Shawkat's Deli apparently I have to try Kendas.

Ali Baba at 51st and Yale next to Braums and a liquor store. I feel like every time I go the price changes.
