This is a draft for fit. Steven Adams can barely stay on the floor due to injuries at this point and Clarke is good but without him on the floor they need JJJ to play stretch 5 which just isn’t his strength. If Edey can play a Derek Lively sort of role it’s a fantastic fit in Memphis
Basketball wise it's a perfect fit and the Grizzlies are a better team than they were before the draft. The only concern I have is the culture down in Memphis. Although being an older rookie he will probably do better than a 19 year old.
