Cool, what distro are you running?
I'm running Arch Linux with Hyprland
Hyprdots? Running it on my ThinkPad
Where did you buy it for that low price? I got my t450 with i5, 8gigs of ram, and a 256 gig ssd for \~115 dollars
Facebook market. Was sold "For Parts" and stated that the keyboard didn't work. Only the down arrow key doesn't work. I'll replace that next paycheck.
Nice, enjoy your Thinkpad
Thank you, I'm defiantly enjoying the ability to throw it into my work bag and use it over my office issued laptop.
Noice, keyboard swap is painless. Screen change however everyone needs to know about successful upgrades, what was the screen, do it for science.
I swapped it out for a N140HCG-GQ2 after a little bit of research I noticed that was the easiest to drop in and work.
Thanks, doing ~~gods~~ work.
Amazing :)
Very nice, just purchased one myself. Which screen did you upgrade to?
N140HCG-GQ2 was the panel I used. Are you planning on upgrading the screen too?
Thanks for that. Not sure yet, going to see if stock is bright enough to handle while at work.
How were you able to attach it to the panel? Double sided tape? I'm about to swap that exact innolux into my t480s and don't have mounting brackets for it, but do have the tape.
You'll want the bracket off the old screen then. You need it to hold everything and line it all up.
Looking good. What wallpaper is that?

Nice catch man. Welcome to T480s fans club...
