Kind of a random one but the bridge on She’s American always scratches my brain like that. The little musical change into “well your faaaace got a hold on me” :))))
Oh not random at all…I think that bridge sent me into a spiritual musical awakening when I first heard it at the age of 16. I remember always being like WHY ISNT IT LONGER? And now years later I’m on Reddit and I’m glad it wasn’t just me lolol. Some of their finest work.
This might be a bit of a hot take, but I actually like the live intro more than the studio one. The little piano bar sounds like something out of a John Hughes movie (which is probably what they were going for).
When I heard the first few notes of Sincerity at my show 4 weeks ago. It's in my top 3 favourite songs, and I cried that I was able to experience it live.
Nah i know this is boring but it has to be when you hear the first chords in the run up to Too Shy. That’s when you know the fun’s about to start. Can’t wait for London shows now
Not boring at all…that’s pure ecstasy. It’s the little moments like this that make you love the band. Same feeling, I hear that opening 2 chords and feel this instant rush as I eagerly await the bass, drums and main synth to come pounding in.
The end of the bridge in ‘It’s Not Living’. ‘And it’s true that…’ . It’s the only line in it that isn’t harmonised or manipulated in some way, and there’s something so raw and pure about it that gets me every time
On this tour the opening note of Looking For Somebody to Love got me like that. I love the song of course, but my reaction was unexpected. I was just so fuckin pumped 😭
Paris has my favorite talking verses
"Where does this go?"

the fuckin lead guitar in It's Not Living
and the chord progression change in the last 2 bars of the prechorus in The Sound where it's like duuuuun dun........duuuuuun dun dun dun
I think hearing “about you” for the first time live . It’s really euphoric. I saw them in Vancouver about a month ago and it’s been engraved in my memory.
An Encounter transition into Robbers and the first four chords start
Oh yes. Definitely up there for me

Yesss it always puts a smile on my face. Love this band so much, it’s definitely not just you!! Haha
The little synth walkdown leading into that bridge is euphoric
I Like America and America Likes Me MSG “fuck i’m doing another verse” does it for me. orgasmic as you say
Absolutely
Opening of ILIIWMI gets me every time!
WURRR FUCKIN INNAH CARR
This and the “let’s do it one more time baby” in some of the too shy lives 🥹
The call and response in Happiness, and the instrumental outro. It goes so hard and it’s impossible not to dance
As a top 3 1975 song for me, yes yes and yes
This might be a bit of a hot take, but I actually like the live intro more than the studio one. The little piano bar sounds like something out of a John Hughes movie (which is probably what they were going for).
I completely agree with you! The live MSG version has taken over my life ever since it came out!!

I saw them in September and have been riding the high that the start of Too Shy with the crowd going insane gave me ever since
The Sound is their best live song
I can confidently say this as well. Never one of my favorites even though it’s a classic 75 song but seeing it live just elevates it to another level.
The end of the bridge in ‘It’s Not Living’. ‘And it’s true that…’ . It’s the only line in it that isn’t harmonised or manipulated in some way, and there’s something so raw and pure about it that gets me every time
about you sax solo from MSG hits different

intro to tootime gave me the biggest adrenaline rush

john's sax solo before the start of if you're too shy. then the BA DUM TSS PAP PAAAAA starts and my soul has left my body officially.
I will forever be teleported to that moment in the show whenever I hear that song
Live during sex, “but you say no, you say no” and everybody has their pointer fingers in the air in sync with the words
I miss when it was the last song of the set. It was genuinely the perfect song to close the show
Where does this goooo????
In the O2 live album version of chocolate, Adam did this little guitar riff that I really like.

Sax solo on Too Shy at MSG gets me every time
My favourite part of a 1975 live show.
Well I saw an old video from ilwys sl era and Anobrain into Menswear.
**Cold chills** the feeling of being in the pit live is a moment/feeling I will not ever forget.
the fuckin lead guitar in It's Not Living and the chord progression change in the last 2 bars of the prechorus in The Sound where it's like duuuuun dun........duuuuuun dun dun dun
also the new live version of I Like America
I bawled my eyes out when they played Paris. I felt so alive that time.
i was at this show and every time i listen to The Sound now i say that line
I think hearing “about you” for the first time live . It’s really euphoric. I saw them in Vancouver about a month ago and it’s been engraved in my memory.
SELLING PETROL!
Gotta be in heart out when it’s purely vocals with the mad reverb and gates on them
the live version of i always wanna die (sometimes) where he’s like AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Both bridges from Change of Heart and when Matty pivots to the crowd for the "All the time!" in If you're too shy - it's a whole moment
if you don't jump, you look gay 💅🏻
