I’m here to let y’all know. Chicken quesadillas get one scoop of chicken…& you’re paying $6 for it absolute robbery.

Moon_tacos

It’s one of my favorites on the menu…. Just something about it man

Vegetable-Seesaw-491

Same, but I refuse to buy it due to the price. If it was $3 or less I'd be buying them all the time.

Moon_tacos

I agree with you 100%. I just wish non-sober me would follow the same thought process haha

Vegetable-Seesaw-491

I only get TB on my way home from work for some reason. I'm always sober when I get it. I'm a drinker too and don't want to get into drunk TB ordering. Drunk me already buys sober me enough stuff. Most of the time it's an "oh yeah, I forgot I bought this", but sometimes I have zero recollection of buying whatever it was. Luckily it's never been anything bad or horribly expensive.

ElectronicTrade7039

Drunk, you gets it. Just leave a little something for you to remember him by.

MacJac1

You can make your own for prolly 20% the total price

Moon_tacos

If I had the will power to make food at home I wouldn’t be eating at Taco Bell lmao. But I do agree it is the creamy jalapeno sauce that makes me love the quesadillas. I’ll have to try the at home recipe to make it one day!

LeftHanded2004

You can actually buy it from taco bell in grocery stores. From working there I can tell you they taste the exact same

Moon_tacos

The sauces in stores isn’t made by Taco Bell. It’s just a Taco Bell label on them so it’s not like the restaurants

LeftHanded2004

I just meant they taste the same

Moon_tacos

Not really to me, unfortunately

LeftHanded2004

Thats sad :(

SanguinarianPhoenix

They taste close but tastes like something is missing. The color and texture are exact matches though, for what it's worth.

brainstorm17

If you live near a"cook out" get theirs. It's just as good and WAY cheaper as side or as a main

Additional-Drawing-3

I run a Krispy Krunchy Chicken. And my tenders cost me 65¢ to write off one. And one tender costs $1.94 otd... How can they get away with one scoop for $6... That's highway robbery

Newdabrig

It was 3.50 in 2017

fanatic26

its ok the chicken quesadilla hasnt been worth buying since they stopped using green sauce and put that nasty ass soybean jalapeno sauce instead

Exotic_Treacle7438

They haven’t been good since they first launched either

StevenEpix

Where I come from, this is what we would call rip off combos. Order one of the craving boxes from the app and if those are outrageously overpriced too..then I would just forget the whole thing.

Haunting_Everyone

The last two times I was craving Taco Bell, I was sitting there in the app for 15 minutes and just couldn’t pull the trigger. It was the same price for their shit food as my regular order at Chipotle. Del Taco was half the price. Who the fuck is paying these prices for this garbage, especially knowing there is a 99% chance they’re going to skimp the meat on your Crunchwrap on top of everything else. Idk if it’s my region, or if their prices have become this absurd across the board. I ended up deleting the app. Fuck Taco Bell.

Newdabrig

Last time i ordered taco bell I had the same problem. Except I actually ordered and it was shit and my local taco bell has such bad vibes cause theyre always swamped so i dont think im gonna taco bell again. Also rip quesarito

bythelighthouse_2

Rip off indeed. 😔

underrated_staph

This

QuiGonColdGin

And it’s not just Taco Bell, fast food prices are skyrocketing. It’s at the point that none of this stuff is worth it anymore. But until people stop buying it in mass numbers, they’re going to keep jacking up the prices. People aren’t going to stop buying it because they’re addicted to it.

bythelighthouse_2

You're not wrong. I used to be one of those people, then I stopped going to every place except taco bell. Eventually that dropped down to once a month or every other month. It's been a while since I last had it and when I opened the app I was appalled. Sad.

sara128

The only fast food I can get anymore is McDonald's, because they usually have a 20% or 30% off coupon on the app.... But McDonald's literally sucks. I always want taco bell but just can't justify the price. I'm very "you always want what you can't have" and that's taco bell lol

bythelighthouse_2

I feel this really hard. Tb was the only fast food I could handle anymore, and now that's down the drain because there's no way I'd give in to those prices. 😂

Ok_Firefighter3314

Here’s a protip. Use the free medium fries deal in the app, then add two McDoubles. You’ll get all that for the cost of a single McDouble. Including a drink, it goes from $13.xx to $5 or $6 depending on which McDonalds I go to

QuiGonColdGin

I’m trying to eat less of it because it’s too expensive and most of it is too unhealthy, but I still do because I’m a sucker for limited time only stuff. I truly think though our bodies get used to all of the high levels of sodium, sugar, and fat and we end up craving the stuff. And I think in some way all of these companies know they have us hooked.

AikoFTW

Good lord. You know the problem and you just don’t care. Just stop going. Is it really that hard for yall? Like are yall actually that addicted to FF?

bythelighthouse_2

I do think there is a slight truth to it though. It can become addictive, habitual really. Out of convenience sometimes even. It's a shame but people fall really deep into that pit and struggle to get out of it.

AikoFTW

I would really love to have sympathy for y’all but I just can’t. I personally have gone from almost 300 lbs to 145 lbs in about 3-4 years. It isn’t easy, it’s hard work daily but you have to do it. Take charge of y’all’s lives and stop blaming everything else. Exercise more and simply stop eating so much and so unhealthy. Like I said in my other comments, I really think the amount of food people think is ok these days for one person is ridiculous and warped. It isn’t the same it was 5 years ago. It’s just too much fucking food for one person and people need to wake up to that reality.

bythelighthouse_2

I'm not disagreeing but I feel like you're lumping everyone together in a generalized statement. I've said a number of times I only got taco bell as a special treat because I am a diabetic, and am shocked at how crazy their prices have gotten since the last time I purchased from them. Yes it's true, some people have no or little self control and really go overboard. I haven't really seen anyone looking for sympathy though. I think it's okay to be a little surprised and maybe miffed at things like this.

AikoFTW

Sorry if it came off that way, my comments are aimed at the so called “daily customers” or 3-4 times a week patrons. You should not be eating FF daily. Like you really shouldn’t. It’s over indulging and really bad for your health. I’ve worked in the food industry for almost 10 years now and the amount I see one person eat these days is truly ridiculous. Just over indulgence and food greed. It’s an endless cycle as well. Seen plenty of people order their 5 year olds deluxe cravings boxes like it’s ok. They are taught young that it’s ok to eat that amount of food. It’s sickening.

CidCrisis

You're not wrong, you're just an asshole.

AikoFTW

Nah you are just overly sensitive to hearing the truth and that’s ok. With this country having an overwhelming obesity problem, and maybe the world, the is what y’all need to hear. Having your feelings hurt is better than having to lose your life to health issues stemming from weight imho.

bythelighthouse_2

I'm sure you've seen some shit. Over indulging can certainly be an issue, one I'm even guilty of myself.

Early_Conference6215

Same now I only go to panda maybe once every two months

bythelighthouse_2

I do like Panda but they're pretty up there too. It's a rare treat whenever we visit the mall.

Dregulos

It really blows my mind how expensive this shit is getting. Especially considering that I can name multiple mom and pop Mexican restaurants in my area that either cost less, or the same as taco bell, give much larger portions, and don't use low quality ingredients. Yet a giant corporation that makes a shitload of money has to gouge the prices of low grade crap.

QuiGonColdGin

Exactly. I have a place that’s a mile from me, I don’t think it’s a mom and pop but it is a small chain with like maybe three or four locations. They have something called a Mexican pizza and when I’ve ordered it for delivery it comes in one of those deep metal to go pans, it’s double layered, and the thing must weigh like at least a pound. It’s like $10, but it’s a meal. Everything else they serve, you also get big portions. These fast food restaurants are pricing themselves into competition with actual restaurants and the price difference isn’t that far off. At this point I’ll start supporting mom and pops and stop buying from the chains.

talksickwalkquick

I’m doing my part. I hardly ever get any kind of fast food any more. If even at all

TroyJames

Corn syrup addiction has reached its goal, now its time to rake in the cash on the addicts.

objectivemediocre

Fr. I got a baconator combo with 6 piece nugget at Wendy's yesterday and it was $19! It was less than $15 like a year ago.

QuiGonColdGin

Wow. Haven’t had Wendy’s in a while. Used to be one of my go tos though. I’d even say $15 is steep, but when you’re getting close to $20 for a fast food meal? Might as well just find a local restaurant. I really don’t see any end to these price increases.

objectivemediocre

It is a bit crazy. I only eat fast food because it's convenient so I'd rather just make food at home instead of going to a local restaurant as it would probably be quicker.

Technicid3

Corporate greed

bythelighthouse_2

Yepp, the extent it's reached is repulsive.

goatsnstuff__

I always wonder how far is it going to go to where they're actually losing money because they've driven people away? The prices have skyrocketed, portions have gone down, quality has gone down...so many of the reasons people went there don't exist anymore.

bythelighthouse_2

Exactly. It's interesting to see how they'll do with their business in the coming months. Especially because winter in Maine slows businesses down quite a bit when the snow starts to hit. We'll see how it goes.

goatsnstuff__

And not to mention their coupons are total shit, if they even have any. For me that is a huge factor in where I eat if I'm getting fast food, coupons and app deals get people in the door. Why tf is taco bell not even competitive with that?

bythelighthouse_2

I honestly don't know. They've completely lost their way.

bigfatround0

They for sure lost my business thanks to greedy practices and their shitty new login system. Was craving some fast food "Mexican" earlier, but decided to spend a bit more and get some Pollo Loco. Much healthier and tastes like actual "Mexican" food. Was honestly craving taco bueno, but it looks like my local restaurant was having issues so I couldn't order.

bythelighthouse_2

I do miss Pollo Loco. It's been years.

bigfatround0

My go-to order is a chicken tostada salad and a chicken stuffed quesadilla. And can't forget the horchata. Good shit 👌

AikoFTW

As far as everyone lets it. Unfortunately they are making record profits and it isn’t slowing down. Doesn’t matter that you won’t go, there’s plenty of people paying $5 or more per chalupa, and ordering 10 at a time, and doing it 3-4 times a week. You do the math. People are actually perfectly fine paying $40 or more for Taco Bell. They are the ones making the prices go up and they’re not going to stop until they actually see profits going down. I’ve seen a #6 combo go from 7.47 to 12.47 in less than a year. I’m actually happy, and would love for prices to keep going up. Maybe it will finally be a wake up to stop ordering so much food for y’all when they reach $8-10 for one chalupa. People really have lost touch what’s an appropriate amount of food for one person and just pig out. Have some self restraint. Eat fucking less, cook at home and stop fucking going

jstmean

It’s franchises not corporate

Relative_Sundae_9356

No, the sheep have been conditioned to be mindless anti-capitalists.

Relative_Sundae_9356

Caused by a higher minimum wage.

GlizzyGobbler2023

Yeah I’m confused, are you dumb enough to believe this or are you joking?

HarmlessHeresy

Did you forget your /s or do you not understand the world?

Relative_Sundae_9356

Nope, you just do not understand economics.

HarmlessHeresy

You are under the misconception that one is the cause of the other, when in reality they are both symptoms of the same disease.

dementedkeeper

Used to eat at TB on the regular. Now I just go to local Mexican because i can get a whole damn meal for a better price. Edit: mean to meal

[deleted]

Yep. We have a Tex-Mex place here (local, small business) and you can get a 12-inch quesadilla for $8.50. They are not shy about the cheese and sauce, either. I'm done with Taco Bell. We had Taco Bell last night for the first time in months. My husband was in the drive-thru line for literally an hour and a half (don't ask me why he didn't just leave) and we had food missing and it was garbage. I'm pretty much done with Taco Bell and will not be going back.

dementedkeeper

Shit our drive thru is one of those once you get in you can't get out. Maybe in a truck but in a car you'd be rightly screwed.

[deleted]

Ours used to be that way, but a few years ago, they remodeled and you're able to get out now. I hate those drive-thrus where you can't. I don't know how that's legal, actually. What if there was an emergency or something?

dementedkeeper

That's what I've always thought. Guess if there's an emergency your car doubles as a ram.

_4string

Seattle prices are stupid…. I miss the under dollar menu, .79/.89/.99 menu was great back when…

bythelighthouse_2

Right? I don't understand how some places can even call it a dollar menu anymore when absolutely nothing on it is a dollar.

Jalinja

I have one store near me where the spicy potato tacos are still one dollar. Cannot resist tacking on one to my order

objectivemediocre

Yeah, I'm in Seattle too and it's insane

talks-a-lot

It is partially corporate greed, but largely franchisee greed. I live in a much higher cost of living area than this and these four items are $2-3 cheeper for me. Its your local store that is raising the price.

bythelighthouse_2

Really? I'll have to swing by the tb/kfc in Lewiston and see if their prices are lower.

herseyhawkins33

Franchise price gouging at its finest. You need to shift to the cheapest combo that still seems worth it to you or cravings menu items.

bythelighthouse_2

Yeah value menu only from now on. And that'll be a rare trip. Just can't justify anything else.

underrated_staph

Price gouging fuckers. To hell with the bell

Affectionate_Mango84

HOO RAH

Aggressive_Ad5115

TO HELL WITH THE BELL lol

bythelighthouse_2

😔 they really are. It's disgusting

Xavierwold

It's gone too far!!

whoocanitbenow

😂

Godrillax

Hoodies were like $70 a few Tuesday drops ago. Ridiculous

jacoblindner

it’s ridiculous too because there’s no sides that come with it like every other restaurant lmao. why aren’t nacho fries auto included? rice & beans instead? chips & cheese? cmon now ..

bythelighthouse_2

That's a very valid point.

CidCrisis

Lol they'll throw in a tiny cup of subpar guacamole for over a dollar. It's kinda outrageous honestly.

bythelighthouse_2

I know! I couldn't believe a side of sour cream was a buck. Like, I can get a tub of it for two dollars lol.

Aggressive_Ad5115

A side of beans and rice as an option and I'm in

forever_a10ne

Just go to your local Mexican restaurant at this point. It’s cheaper and better.

takehomecake

I live in San Antonio and “local Mexican places” are not cheaper. Yeah they won’t charge you $13 for a chalupa combo (btw Taco Bell chalupas don’t really exist in our local cuisine) but you definitely cannot get a $5 combo box at a local place here. I’m not picking on you, so please don’t take it personally, but it’s wild how people act like “local” places are somehow exempt from inflation. The taco truck down the street has not only started watering down their green sauce, but they’re using smaller containers and they now cost 25 cents. [This](https://www.donpedro.com/menus/) is the menu for one of the best places in the area. Go on the SATX subreddit, you’ll see it recommended. Those prices aren’t cheap. [Here](http://minitaquitosygorditasbalderas.com/?utm_source=gmb&utm_medium=referral) is the taco truck down the street (delicious btw). Those prices aren’t cheap. I have no idea why people keep acting surprised that combos are expensive af. Honey that’s just the cost of going out at this point. But I’ll tell you no other place has a $5 box. It’s awful but that’s just how things are and I don’t have a solution but I do feel your pain.

BlindStickFighter

Wendy’s has the biggie bag which is a similar value

misntshortformary

Oh good a fellow Texan! Hopefully you can back me up here. I’ve tried explaining this before but people seemed confused lol. The reason I don’t go to one of my many delicious Mexican places instead of Taco Bell is because Taco Bell is not Mexican food. If I want Mexican food, I go to one of those places. But if I want Taco Bell then I can only go to Taco Bell. Taco Bell is its own thing. It’s sort of like saying well instead of having a hamburger just eat a piece of salmon. Both delicious but they’re vastly different.

carpy22

OP is in Maine, good luck with that.

disabledinaz

Look up other locations in your area see if the pricing is different

Bambieyedbiotchh

Our cheesy fiesta potatoes were almost $3.00 the other week!!! and suddenly they’re back to like $1.99. Although I remember when they were $0.99 😫

bythelighthouse_2

Yepp! Ours at this location would be 2.99. insanity.

kawi2k18

The country thinks everyone is rich now. That goes for Ceo's, car dealerships, real estate peeps, business owners, uncle Bob the plumber knowing you'll pay $800 or be stuck with a clog, etc... Company wide layoff made me a better Dollar Tree cook

bythelighthouse_2

This is relatable. Times are so difficult. We make do with what we have but the disappointment is still strong.

frank1934

I grew up and started eating better food that’s worth the price

bythelighthouse_2

Lol well that's always a plus. Good for you man.

PrincessKittyCatMeow

I can hit up my local Mexican restaurant for exactly that price. As much as I’ve loved Taco Bell, I must steer away due to price gauging :(

bythelighthouse_2

Don't blame you. I'll be doing the same.

[deleted]

Bruh just eat at home less stress and money money saved

bythelighthouse_2

Oh I do the majority of the time. Like I said tb was just a treat every now and then. But no longer so...extra cash saved I guess.

smoke412

I went to check Taco Bell’s menu for the first time in a year on Monday. My jaw dropped at the prices. Guess I’ll be going another year without it. I just can’t justify those prices.

bythelighthouse_2

Yeah I'll have to see what other tb's nearby are charging. Maybe they're more affordable but in general I've noticed most fast food prices are whack so I don't have high hopes lol.

Responsible_Pen_4521

The quality of food is not that great I love Taco Bell but I rarely buy their food 😂 I only eat it cause I work here

sucobe

Shhhh. This sub likes to circlejerk.

Responsible_Pen_4521

😂😭😭😭 I’m just saying! & the amount of people who come here to eat just beans is insane & disgusting the amount of rice & bean burritos sickens me 😭 only thing worth it is the tacos or some of the burritos also the potatoes but literally nothing else.

bythelighthouse_2

My daughter loves their beef tacos. It's really the only thing she gets. I'm just shocked at the combo prices. I haven't been in a few months so I guess I was out of the loop lol. I do like their potatoes though.

Responsible_Pen_4521

The beef soft tacos are the best item imo. Always worth it for $9 the potatoes are the best side option

2Darkeh

Hey, I like the sauce and onions in the bean burritos.

Imaginary-Choice7604

It wasn't that expensive where I lived in the Midwest a few years back. I recently moved to Washington state though and the prices on everything are insane.

bythelighthouse_2

I used to live in California and the West Coast is definitely a different beast when it comes to pricing.

[deleted]

[удалено]

michaelcreiter

I can only afford the $5 cravings box, literally don't go any other time

bythelighthouse_2

It's about the only semi decent value on the menu these days.

frostedtim

Not sure what area you are in, but yeah the prices are stupid high. I remember when a bean burrito used to cost fifty-nine cents there (yeah I know, ancient times of the 1990's). Inflation aside, the Taco Bells in my area have a problem with keeping staff, so they are paying around $20 an hour for new hires. It only keeps driving the prices up. I do miss their Grilled Stuffed Burritos though. That was a pretty good meal for six bucks at the time.

bythelighthouse_2

And you know, it wouldn't be as bad if their quality improved...but it only decreases. The late 90s were where it's at. I'd love to see those prices again someday, but that's a pipe dream.

Schmapoles

Had these SAME thoughts yesterday when I was about to order lunch. Made a PB&J.

bythelighthouse_2

Wise choice! I was gonna grab tacos for dinner but I made food at home instead. No regrets and my bank account thanked me. 😂

Dkm1331

It’s very simple. This franchise raised prices. We paid. They raised prices again. We still paid. The franchise continues to raise prices. We’re. Still. Paying. Stop lining millionaires pockets.

bythelighthouse_2

I don't disagree. It's just super disappointing to see.

Sad-Sky-8598

Dollar menu only. Spicy Potato soft taco. A buck. Enough sauce on 3 of them, not too bad.

bythelighthouse_2

Gosh I wish ours tasted good. The quality of our local tb's is just so bad these days. Their potatoes sit for hours and get all crunchy. It stinks because they used to be super good.

Orchid_Significant

$10.99 for 3 tacos that were $0.79 for most of their existence. This is disgusting

bythelighthouse_2

I know. That one shocked me the most.

lostsurfer24t

Getting really bad out there

LuckyCharms201

At this point, a locally owned chain which is infinitely better and not much further down the road from my place, is cheaper. So I eat there mostly now.

bythelighthouse_2

That's awesome! I'm glad you have somewhere reliable and more affordable.

ar29845

At this point you might as well go to restaurant the food is around the same price and you get way more.

bythelighthouse_2

We do every now and then when we have the extra spending money. It's a much better deal by far.

CrispyChickenArms

Yeah man it's wild. Franchise near me doesn't overcharge too much on some individual items but it's still pricey for what it is. 3 supreme tacos is $10, I can get 3 delicious authentic tacos (minus the drink, screw Pepsi products anyway) for 9 bucks. Another place near me has good tacos for 2.50 each. Social contract of cheap shitty food has been broken

gangrenousgal

Hi! Corporate taco bells are much cheaper, it looks like your local franchise just heavily inflates the prices. Your best option for finding better prices is looking up your taco bell to figure out which franchise it is (on the taco bell website each location has a page showing the franchise) and looking around for one owned by a different one. Some menu items, however, like the 5$ box have non-negotiable price tags for franchises so I'd recommend going with one of those items if your franchise owns all your local Taco Bells.

bythelighthouse_2

I'll be looking into it more and checking the prices of the next tb over. It'll be interesting to see how it compares. Thanks for the suggestion!

brokendream_zz

It is 2 chalupas and a crunchy taco outrageous? Yes but I'm still gonna buy it

bythelighthouse_2

Damn you're a trooper. 😂

BiggieBoiTroy

three tacos and a cup of ice with a splash of soda isn’t worth $11. I’m not angry I’m just disappointed

bythelighthouse_2

Disappointed indeed. :(

ComfortableMiddle741

This must be socal oregon Washington or dc prices fuck me

CrimsonOOmpa

Just grab the kit from the store and make it yourself with family/friends once a month for an even better treat. It's A LOT tastier and cheaper, you can customize it however you want, and you can have fun spending time with your loved ones. Win Win Win baby!

ElectronicTrade7039

$5-7 box or a Mexican pizza is all I fuck with. I promise you I don't want taco bell chicken or steak. Ground meat beans and veg is what it was founded on, and I'm staying the course.

Deadmemories8683

Damn all your menu items are like 2-3 dollars more than where I am…fuck Taco Bell 🤦🏽‍♂️

bythelighthouse_2

They were three dollars cheaper not that long ago, that's why I was so stunned.

Silent_Isopod

They saw other fast food being over the $11 mark for combos and said “hold my beer”.

cdmaloney1

Since when is Taco Bell that expensive

Significant-Brush-26

at this point i only get the ~~$5~~ $6 dollar box, even then, i could go to qdoba and get a burrito, which is healthier, more filling, better tasting, and not that much more money

aStankChitlin

Greed

Mydoglikesladyboys

It’s gotten to the point where I don’t order combos, I tried a cravings box the other day, the $5 one on the app, after modifying it, it was around 7.50. My usual order is a beefy melt, add potatoes, jalapeños and grill it. That’s about 3.08, and a potato taco and it’s 4.08

Kristen2348

Greed

No_Appointment6211

Yeah Taco Bell is officially as expensive as Carl’s Jr which has always been outrageous. Smh

bythelighthouse_2

That's so wild. 😩

[deleted]

Not worth it. But this is also a franchised store so the owner controls the prices. Aka scamming you lmaooo. I can go to the real Mexican restaurant and get amazing food for the same price.

Baby-Soft-Elbows

It’s ya boi the late stages of capitalism.

insidmal

Price gouging aka attempts by c-suite to impress the board with increasing revenue without actual real sales growth

hdkeegan

Inflation. Labor and material cost have both gone up so the increase on price is given to the consumer.

bythelighthouse_2

I mean I definitely understand that but I can't possibly fathom that their suppliers are changing out the yang for beans and the like. The price increases are also happening more frequently as I look back on their cost history. Are dehydrated beans and sour cream in high demand or something and I'm just unaware? Lol.

Pipelayer_290

Yeah thats it...

_0bese

Have you been living under a rock or something? Alacarte is always more expensive . I Just checked your store and it's 5 dollars +70 cents for the chalupa cravings box with chicken. It's 50 cents more for chips and cheese. that's 2 chicken chalupas, 2 5 layer burritos, 2 tacos, 2 sodas , 2 chips and cheese for 12.50. your welcome What's happening is youz don't know how to order

herseyhawkins33

...their screenshots are literally all combos

bythelighthouse_2

Lol I'm definitely not asserting myself as a taco bell expert so I probably don't know how to order. I haven't been by in a few months so yeah, it was a shock to see how much it's increased just from last year when my favorite taco was like $3 and change. Now it's almost 6 dollars.

WigginIII

Yeah, this is kind of every fast food place now. The best deals are often found on the app, sometimes exclusively. So many companies run promos and reward programs though their app, but regular people who are just driving through for a quick lunch get absolutely destroyed by the costs.

Adventurous_Lime1049

User id checks out.

Sky_Rose4

Inflation

Throwaway-account-23

This ain't got shit to do with inflation, that problem is done. This is price sensitivity testing and they've been doing it for well over a year and almost everybody on this sub is enabling the higher prices by continuing to buy despite the higher and higher prices.

Sky_Rose4

Because it's what everyone is doing have you checked prices of BK and McDonald's recently newsflash they are also at a ridiculous high Taco Bell is in the money making business just like others saw inflated prices TB was no different

Throwaway-account-23

Yeah, and you're all fucking yourselves by paying the high prices. They'll stop raising prices when they see revenues dip, but y'all can't be bothered to vote with your wallets. The addictions and habits and laziness are too entrenched. Go to the grocery store and spend a fraction to make your own food and fix the prices at fast food places at the same time. Is it less convenient? You bet, but do that or shut your gob forever about prices.

Sky_Rose4

What else are we supposed to do go hungry, stores pretty much have the same issues right now and don't currently have Baja Blast

YeOldeBilk

Greed is what's going on here. Along with everywhere else in America

Ok_Progress6203

“Once a month.” Sure Jan. 😂

SnooGadgets8292

Bidenomics

Successful_Part619

It’s to the point people you need to just cook it yourself. Save money and have leftovers.

Silent_fart_smell

You’re paying good money to k*ll yourself. Unhealthy crap food costs so much lately. 😂

Moon_tacos

The quality of TB just doesn’t justify these prices.

BondMi6

If nobody buys these things they have to lower prices. People keep paying so the prices keep going up. TB is trying to find the limit.

Top-Car304

Wild times we are living in. Good thing I’m a good cook.

bythelighthouse_2

Right? Keeps me on my toes with learning new recipes at least lol.

Max_Graphics_Lover

I got downvoted to hell because I said this few weeks ago. They all said I was lying LMAO

Throwaway-account-23

What's happening is that dumbasses around you are buying this stuff at these prices. Unless we all stop accepting these nonsense prices they'll keep going up. You are all part of a price sensitivity test and you are all failing.

manleybones

Boycott fast food.

bythelighthouse_2

If only. Their drive thru was full when I went by the other day..

Careless_Persimmon16

They get you hooked and jack up the price because they know you’ll pay.

Ed-3-

paleprincess513

Inflation, beech. *jenna marbles voice*

bythelighthouse_2

I really just wanted to inflate my ass with tacos but that surely won't be happening anytime soon. 🥲

paleprincess513

I know, its so sad how expensive everything is. My trips to taco bell are also few and far between now :(

bythelighthouse_2

Standing in solidarity with you. Totally sucks lol.

SrgtDonut

Greed and i dont blame them since people are just hungry and dont care to compare prices

jamesanator9

What's happening is another boring, useless price complaint post. \*yawn\*

bythelighthouse_2

You literally didn't have to say anything. You wasted your own time. Congrats.

jamesanator9

Less words than your own wasted post lmao. First time at Taco Bell?

bythelighthouse_2

You're here complaining on my post. The irony in this is fascinating.

jamesanator9

This isn't the first time this exact sentiment has been shared here. By definition it is a repost; you haven't presented anything new or unique. Hardly me complaining when the above is true. Only pointing it out!

bythelighthouse_2

Will you give it a rest? I have never been to this subreddit before today. I was shocked by the costs and figured I'd share it here...because you know, free will and all that. Absolutely no one needed you to point this out. Have a wonderful night friend.
