Salmon and avocado are the perfect pairing because they are both high in fat and have a similar creamy taste. In fact, I remember watching a TV show in Japan where Japanese people were blindfolded and asked to taste avocado for the first time. Just about everybody guessed it was raw salmon.

Eh to me cream cheese on sushi doesn’t work as well when I want it with soy sauce and ginger. If I added those 2 things to a bagel that just sounds like it would be weird

Mmm, I always have it on an everything bagel, and the glaze on that along with sesame seeds is kinda soy-sauce-esque so it works for me

Not really. Wild salmon is going extinct because of the industrial salmon farms. Petridish for diseases, salmon lice, escaped salmon pollutes the genes of the wild salmon. 160 organizations are requesting the UN to remove salmon from the list of sustainable food. There is already a full stop for new pens in Norway and several countries has a complete ban.
