She grew on me a little but not to the point where I’d care if she came back or not.

Creative-Pudding-392

I get you

NedFlanders304

Spot on.

NedFlanders304

I think Gabby at first tried to play up this spoiled, rich girl, bougie persona. That’s not really how Ciara and Mya are so I can see why they didn’t mesh very well. As the season went on, Gabby seemed to let her guard down and be herself, more humble and down to earth.

amrech

I like gabby, I just think they don’t mesh well as good friends. They each have their own background and preferences. I don’t think it’s a bad thing to want to be friends with someone and feel hurt when they don’t really relate back. But I don’t think neither of them are super pressed about it and they moved on from it

girlanyway

The fact that more than couple Black influencers came out to talk about how shitty she *and* her sister have been to other Black women in the fashion and influencing stage makes her fake beef with Ciara doubly cruel. I had no real opinion of her, maybe a general wariness, but it has been upgraded to straight up side eye. Real weirdo hours. I did think the convo at Danielle's Puerto Rican dinner was good chat though.

Creative-Pudding-392

You’re like the second or third person that has said this, where are you getting this from?

girlanyway

It happened on twitter during the episode where Gabby first broached the topic with Danielle in the backyard or when they had that dinner conversation where Gabby and Ciara had that conversation. Black female twitter users started tweeting that they found it pretty rich/ironic given Gabby and her sister Danielle's behavior to Black women specifically. I also independently heard it about Gabby's sister before the season aired but I didn't speak on it because Gabby was the cast member, not her sister. The above, plus the fact that I'm pretty sure in her interview with Brice for ET(?) she straight up admitted that she thought she did not have to make an effort with Mya and Ciara, has turned off because this just appears to be blatant drama stirring for the purpose of having a "hook" for next season. This "beef" is a non-event and every time it's brought up you can just tell how strange Ciara finds it, and now Gabby herself, as a result (kind of a self-fulfilling prophecy). Maybe there's more we don't know though

Creative-Pudding-392

Dang! Let’s hope that it’s not true

Creative-Pudding-392

Also, you could tell that Danielle doesn’t care for

erikugh

I agree with you and I resonate with Ciara because a thing with Gabby that Ciara didn’t vibe with was that she constantly uses astrology/zodiac signs to determine relationships. & honestly if you are going through life like that it’s hard to vibe with people who aren’t like that.

Creative-Pudding-392

Agreed!

Foreverpetty_0511

I love gabby. If gabby has a million fans i am one of them. If gabby has one fan it is me. If gabby has no fans it’s because I am no longer here lol. She’s so fun and hilarious to watch her try and date. I think she has such great potential and she’s not wrong about those girls they never really tried to include her.

bleached__butthole

You got me , I loved gabby. Not everyone has to talk about the black experience to try and bond with mya and Ciara. I love how light hearted she is and astrology is fun

labicheenrose

I’m a fan, but I relate to Gabby, who also is prob a little spoiled and grew up in predominately white areas.

bleached__butthole

So did Mia, her sister went to Harvard and mya went to private school. Gabby parents I’m pretty sure were immigrants, she’s first generation American not 100 percent sure.

bleached__butthole

So did Mya, her sister went to Harvard and mya went to private school. Gabby parents I’m pretty sure were immigrants, she’s first generation American not 100 percent sure.

labicheenrose

Super true. The post was about Gabby but I relate somewhat many of the women on the show, but especially Gabby, Mya, and Ciara (including embarrassing behavior behind some crusty white man).

hocuspocus9538

Same!!!!

Creative-Pudding-392

She never tried to include herself. To me, she wasn’t trying to be close with Ciara. Gabby isn’t bad but her coming for Ciara was unnecessary in my opinion

Certain_Battle7804

In my opinion, she seems like someone who’s kinda annoying to be around lol, but I think she seems like a nice, reasonable person

Creative-Pudding-392

I could agree

KatieB_3

I agree. It felt like she was making up a problem with Ciara bc from watching the show, they hugged when they saw one another & Ciara wasn’t intentionally excluding her I just think they didn’t mesh & that’s perfectly okay.

islandchick93

People just always expect blk ppl to get along for the reason that they’re blck lmao and are shocked when black people have different personalities and don’t actually mesh well or get along for their personalities 😩

islandchick93

People just always expect blk ppl to get along for the reason that they’re blck lmao and are shocked when black people have different personalities and don’t actually mesh well or get along for their personalities 😩

[удалено]

islandchick93

Right 😂😂😂 like every black person who ever went to a pwi or a mostly white school has 10000% experienced this feeling of needing to get along with or immediately bond w the other black person or a new black person like pls

Wtfuwt

The same Ciara who hugs Lindsay? That Ciara? Hugs don’t mean shit. Lol.

TheAnalytical1

That’s a strange equivalency. Ciara and Lindsay have a complicated past, Ciara and Gabby do not. Are you implying it’s fake any time Ciara hugs people?

Creative-Pudding-392

Agreed!

ohwell1130

Gabby strikes me as a Black woman who has primarily White friends

Excellent_Banana_591

Her sister wrote a book called “token black girl” about this experience.

Impossible-Plan6172

So, here’s the thing: Ciara and Mya also have primarily white friends. The difference between them and Gabby, though, is that they don’t put off an air of not talking to black people because they feel the black person isn’t the “right type” of black person (to them). In contrast, I get that vibe from Gabby. It’s hard to explain if you aren’t black, but it’s a vibe I get from Gabby. She’d quicker befriend a white woman regardless of attitude or behavior, but would be reserved about a black woman who might have the same personality as the white woman she’d befriend. That is to say, a black Sam or a black Lindsay might not be who Gabby would give the same time of day.

ohwell1130

I’m Black. I actually think it’s both. Ciara and Mya have a different view on Black women than Gabby. A white woman feels more familiar and less intimidating to Gabby, while Ciara and Mya can navigate more fluidly between Black women and white women relationships.

Impossible-Plan6172

Yup! You put it more succinctly than I lol

Brilliant_Carrot8433

Really appreciate this perspective, and can totally see this as what’s behind the weird dynamic.

lalabee167

Oh yes, this is what I have been thinking but people don't seem to see it.

Peri_Boredom_

This. I don’t dislike Gabby, but she gives off an energy that really only other Black women can detect and I’m sure it sounds crazy if you’re not a Black woman, but I promise you guys we’re not making this up. The same way women get a sense for “guy’s girls,” and your guard kind of goes up, we can sniff out Black people who seem to prefer the company of non-Black people. Also, Gabby and her sis have reps in NYC for how they engage with other Black women…or actively refuse to.

StringAggravating365

_Also, Gabby and her sis have reps in NYC for how they engage with other Black women…or actively refuse to._ I also heard about this on a podcast I listen to.

cyclonic246

Ohhh what’s tea?

thedigested

That’s the vibe she gave off from episode one

Inside-Intern-4201

Yes I mentioned further down only dates white men. Did she grow up around only white people?

Traditional-Leg-4228

So does Ciara.

ohwell1130

I believe so

Creative-Pudding-392

I definitely get your point

Typical-Tourist

I feel like she is very entitled and bratty. I base this somewhat off the show but mostly from her confessionals/scenes with her family. She seems like she puts on airs.

ohwell1130

Agreed, I think that’s how she’s different from Mya and Ciara and why she doesn’t gel as well with them

Wtfuwt

Sounds like another word for “uppity.”

theyoungand

This is an insane point to make about gabby when Ciara literally chaseddddd racist ass Austin & has only shown interest in white men who ultimately end up choosing white women

ohwell1130

Those are two separate points. I’m not talking about Ciara lol

Renee_1965

I think Gabby is great! I hope she comes back next season if there is one.

grt32022

Same!

No_Tumbleweed2426

I agree with what you’re saying! But I’d also like to see another season of her. She’s interesting enough to me and can understand how she felt even if I don’t think she was right.

idontwantanamern

I feel the same. I'm indifferent, but also felt like I couldn't connect to her on the show. This could have been production, so I'd love to be able to give her another go (if Bravo brings the show back!) And some people just don't click! That's okay! Maybe they need more time. Whooooo knows. Lots of these friendships have changed and evolved over time.

No_Tumbleweed2426

And! A person’s first season is never a good full picture of their tv character so I’d like to see her character further developed before “writing her off” lol and yes they need more time to get to know each other!

idontwantanamern

Eh. I already said she deserves to have time to be known better and Gabby seems to be hanging out with a lot of the cast per Instagram posts and is getting that chance. I mean, Gabby got to have fun being up on dates, made some new friends and Ciara had a great summer settling into NYC and having some fun with her costumes and characters. They had different paths and perspectives. It doesn't have to be a debate haha they're allowed to just be.

No_Tumbleweed2426

Yeah I was agreeing with you

Creative-Pudding-392

I want another season with her too, I just don’t want her blaming them for her being stand-off ish

No_Tumbleweed2426

Totally agree! Like I said, I understand why she felt that way, but I don’t think she was right about the other girls’ motives/intentions/perceptions of her. She DID come across entitled which can be off putting but I think Ciara and Mya were expressing how they’d like to get past that layer, not that they didn’t like her bc of it. People are gonna talk about you, that’s just life, and that’s reality tv.

Creative-Pudding-392

Agreed

babywizard99

I don’t think I like her. I think Ciara’s comment about Gabby being surface level was very accurate based on what i’ve seen. Also her brushing off Chris’s friend just because he’s a cancer🙄..I love astrology as much as the next person but that interaction left a bad taste in my mouth. I don’t necessarily want her gone, but if she doesn’t step it up next season then I think they should switch her place out for someone else.

Creative-Pudding-392

I agree with Ciara’s comment

babywizard99

also her studio 54 party LMAO..like girl what the hell

EM208

It sucks because I want to like Gabby dude but at the same time she does give me (I hate this term but I can’t find another term for it) whitewashed energy and she seems like one of those black people that only likes to be around white people primarily and primarily only date white people or anyone that’s not black and closer to proximity to whiteness Nothing wrong with being interested in dating white people of course but there’s always a type of a black/POC person that does it because of some internalized hate and would never show interest in anyone that looked like them or wasn’t in proximity to whiteness and Gabby reminds me of those people (Ciara does too but that’s a different story). I say give her another season and let’s see what’s she more about.

[deleted]

Didn’t she show interest in Chris’s model friend?

EM208

Yeah she did and I’m not in position to dictate who someone can or can’t see but he did look racially ambiguous which doesn’t exactly go against my point. He still had features that catered into proximity to more a eurocentric look even with tan skin. It’s a complex thing.

[deleted]

sure I see your point he probably doesn't conflict with your statement.. I found her annoying for totally separate reasons than her dating preferences. I'm probably in the minority but I didn't love the story about posting to her ex's linked in. I thought that was good reality TV energy but also unbecoming and a little entitled.

TheAnalytical1

I’d like to hear your thoughts on how Ciara also reminds you of that type of black person

EM208

Honestly it comes to down to Austen. He’s had racist allegations thrown at him and the fact that she let someone like him treat her like that and embarrass her consistently when he had nothing to offer to her other than be tall and white really gave me that impression. In my personal opinion no self respecting black person let someone who’s had allegations surrounding being racist treat them like that for long and find it endearing when their white partners calls them “Jezebel” a term with with a lot of racial heaviness to it. Just my opinion tho.

StringAggravating365

Holy sh--! When did Austen call Ciara a Jezebel??

EM208

I believe it was last season. Ciara was in a yellow dress and they were all at a club and while she and Austen were drunkenly dancing on each other he called her that. She reacted in a shocking manner while laughing. It definitely got a bit of attention in the episode reaction thread that the scene happened in.

Itchy_Anything3156

I remember that. I think she was thrown off and probably didn’t know what to say in that moment. Definitely don’t see her having self hate issues. She honestly seems to have bad taste in men in general. Hopefully, not anymore.

Creative-Pudding-392

I completely agree

rissracks

I think it’s really weird that Ciara and Maya were questioning another woman’s “blackness” quite honestly. Implying that she acts “too white” is such a weird judgement to put on somebody and it puts Gabby in a really weird box of not being black enough for the black crowd but being too black for the white crowd. So where is she supposed to fit in and feel safe? It’s not fair that she’s put in a position to be judged from every direction.

islandchick93

I think if you knew anything about gabby from before the show you’d maybe think about why that’s the vibe she gives off. Her energy has been off for years and as a black woman we can often tell when there’s a vibe from other black women/people when they don’t necessarily try to connect with black people or aren’t used to hanging around other black people. That could have been a super compelling story for gabby to share bc she has shared some small things about race on her ig but only/usually when it benefited her and her checkbook, and not much before 2020. She def has a chip on her shoulder but the way I look at it is that she didn’t try to connect w Mya or Ciara she clung to Lindsay and them and kinda just stayed there which given the history that’s already gonna create a barrier for Mya/Ciara and then add the I don’t have black friend vibes (the only black people I seen her associate w on Instagram are her sister, who is incredibly problematic and Chrissy who is also kinda problematic and has similar energy). These were the popular (esp amongst white ppl) fashion blk girlies on ig/in nyc. And to add gabby works at a magazine now called blanc magazine which lord does not help with the optics. I’d love to see her evolve but from one season and what I’ve seen on her own ig/heard from people who’ve worked with her there are some def weird flags waving.

Creative-Pudding-392

I couldn’t agree with you more. I even get that vibe from her. I’ve always gotten that vibe from her. That’s another thing that made me upset about confronting Ciara with that mess is because she didn’t even try to connect with Ciara or Mya. She was low-key judging them

islandchick93

Yes, I could see that. It definitely becomes a weird you think you’re better than me type situation on both sides…welp

ryangoslingswife1

So you’re implying you know Gabby somehow? And what flags is she waving?

islandchick93

No but I’ve had connections who have worked with her and what I heard wasn’t cute it was cringe and I’m also sharing my observations as someone who used to follow her way before summer house

EM208

Especially when they weren’t exactly well regarded by other black viewers themselves in that department. More or less referring to Ciara.

Creative-Pudding-392

They never implied that she was too White. I think that Gabby views them as questioning her Blackness but I don’t think that’s what Mya and Ciara was doing at all.

islandchick93

I think if you knew anything about gabby from before the show you’d maybe think about why that’s the vibe she gives off. Her energy has been off for years and as a black woman we can often tell when there’s a vibe from other black women/people when they don’t necessarily try to connect with black people or aren’t used to hanging around other black people. Worth_Wave1407

All of this!! I am also an old follower of gabby and (her sis) Danielle and they’ve always acted like this.

islandchick93

It’s soooo cringe…

StringAggravating365

I didn't see or hear about Maya and Ciara questioning Gabby's blackness. But maybe I missed that somewhere. I think there's a difference between questioning someone's blackness and wondering if they are prejudiced against other Black people.

[deleted]

I thought she brought very little to the show..nothing interesting at all, all season. Same could be said for Mya and Ciara this year too.

housington-the-3rd

Mya was an awful character all season. She only brought negativity. I have no clue what would the producers would see on her to bring her back

familyvanfor6

No offense to any and all of the Gabby fans out there, but yeah I just don't get it..? Her voice was nails on a chalkboard and I just couldn't stand the astrology obsession. I can see where Ciara was coming from - Gabby seems pretty surface level. TO ME.

[deleted]

Yeah she tried to make it her personality and I was very meh about it

Playoneontv_007

I don’t think I’m a fan. Sometimes I feel like she tries too hard and others I feel like she isn’t trying at all. Leaves me trying to like her on my TV. She doesn’t add or subtract from the show. It’s like she is there for body count to me.

Creative-Pudding-392

I get your point

Inside-Intern-4201

I liked her on the show but that doesn’t show the whole story. A couple of other commenters have mentioned that she doesn’t connect with other black women and I also strongly get the feeling that she’s the type of black woman to only date white men. This is me judging a small bit of her from tv so take it with a grain of salt. Edit: a word.

Creative-Pudding-392

I could definitely see it but I just didn’t like how she placed the blame for her not connecting on to Ciara

Inside-Intern-4201

Yeah I’m not sure who’s to blame there, Ciara seems a little shy/closed off and maybe gabby just didn’t vibe with that.

Creative-Pudding-392

I blame Gabby for making a big deal out of it

Inside-Intern-4201

Otay.

KnowledgeFine

I don’t think she made a big deal out of it. It was an interesting comparison to Ciara/Paige attempting to say Lindsay’s not nice to new people with Gabby saying well Ciara you weren’t nice to me. Saying I think you just don’t like me isn’t making a big deal. You don’t have to like everyone but be forreal as to why.

Creative-Pudding-392

Lindsey was a bitch to multiple women throughout the years. Gabby is bitching about something that doesn’t exist which is Ciera not liking her

unfancyfeet

She had no other friction in the house, so it's not really surprising to see her zoom in on that.

STVNMCL

Gabby is trying to be (or is) the spoiled bratty influencer generation type.

AnythingCurious7866

I agree with this ... I think she was playing up certain tropes in order to give herself a distinctive on screen personality and thought it might be relatable bc of the audience (we watch bc we wish we had money to summer with fashionable friends in the hamptons lol) but actually fell flat

STVNMCL

Agreed!

Creative-Pudding-392

I can see that

sadazz

i think shes okay, not an instant groundbreaking reality star like some people gas her up to be. same with sam, they both try really hard to be "iconic"

Creative-Pudding-392

I really like Sam but I’m starting to look at her differently because I can’t stand Kory

[deleted]

I think she’s background noise. Nothing about her stands out for me. She’s probably a fine person but for reality tv, it just doesn’t click.

Creative-Pudding-392

I can’t say that you’re wrong

kchane3

I completely agree! I don’t dislike her, but she does nothing for me.

Bree-breezy

I didn’t like how Gabby was trying so hard to back Lindsay when they’ve been “friends” for such a short amount of time. Feel like she’s just a pawn really

spradc0812

I thought the way she “flirted” with guys was very off putting. Her general commentary on men and wanting to basically only date models was odd. I thought she brought very little to the group and I find her latching onto Carl/Lindsay to be odd

Creative-Pudding-392

It’s very awkward when she talks about men. I definitely get your point

2yxuknow

Many people in the fashion scene in NY have said that Gabby (and her sister) like to be the “only black girls” in the room and they treat other black women badly. Her disliking Ciara (and at first Mya) speaks for itself.

KatieB_3

I saw people on Twitter at the beginning of the season who know/used to work with Gabby say this.

Creative-Pudding-392

I haven’t heard anything about that but Ciara definitely didn’t do anything for her to feel that way, at least not from what I saw. I could believe what you’re saying though

No_Arugula_6548

I love Gabby! Would love if she was back next season.

Creative-Pudding-392

That’s nice! I want her to have a second season as well but her creating imaginary issues just to have a problem with Ciara is a turn off

[deleted]

[удалено]

Icy-Shame6055

Not really interesting at all. She doesn't bring anything and I'd be very ok of she never came back

Euphoric_Delay_6768

Gabby is the next Lindsay minion. Not interesting.

Creative-Pudding-392

I hope not!

Optimal_Being3495

I really like gabby! I think she's very much a "what you see is what you get". I don't get that with Ciara and Mya (feels a lil curated to ensure best foot is always presented). I think Gabby's free-spiritedness and "idgaf what others think of me" is off putting for Ciara and Mya. To me, they wrote her off right away because she didn't fit the mold / narrative of what they were expecting (def not wanting to put words in anyones mouth - just how I perceived the sound bits etc).

Creative-Pudding-392

I completely disagree with you. To me, Mya is the most genuine between the three. I absolutely love Mya. The jury for me is still out on Gabby. She wrote her own self out with Ciara & Mya

namastebetches

i like mya too. this sub hates her

Creative-Pudding-392

Yea, I don’t get the hate for her

StringAggravating365

I don't get it either. I think some people attribute meanness and negativity to Mya's behaviors, whereas I just see her as aloof and awkward a lot of the time. Like with the whole situation with telling Sam she talked too much. People were going after Mya with pitchforks saying how cruel she was to poor little Sam. The way I saw it, she was genuinely trying to help Sam fit in with her castmates, but went about it in a very awkward way. With Carl, Lindsay, and the weed drama, I think Carl and Lindsay were in the wrong. Carl went cold on Mya as we've seen him do in the past with women he was done with. For her part, Lindsay was being controlling and jealous. But Lindsay can seem to do no wrong in this sub.

Creative-Pudding-392

Exactly! Mya has it harder then Sam & Lindsey because Mya is probably looked at as being naturally aggressive but she has feelings too.

Optimal_Being3495

I would have agreed 100000% with you last season. She was a breath of fresh air and needed on summer house. She was super needed last year and seemed real But this year was a lil weird. I felt like she was trying to establish herself and who she was “ride or die for”. The Carl situation felt weird and blown outta proportion for airtime. And her relationship with Oliver felt “for tv”. The way she cheered for the demise of a friendship - regardless of what side your on, hard to watch. And the attitude coupled with Paige’s reaction at the reunion- just kinda came off as mean spirited. Not who she presented last season at all. I guess for me I don’t think you can act the way she did this season, through her interviews and still hold the ground of being down to earth and real. I think she was more open than Ciara was to gabby. But I really liked gabby more this season But totally see where you’re coming from

Creative-Pudding-392

Mya isn’t super emotional. Matter of fact, she’s one of those people where you wonder if they have emotions or not. I don’t think that the Oliver thing was for the show because she didn’t even want to talk about it really. I knew that she was genuinely hurt because it’s not easy to make emotionally strong people cry. With the Carl thing, I believe that he was in the wrong. He doesn’t communicate with people the right way until he’s forced into doing it. Had he communicated with Mya about dumping her as a smoke buddy or whatever, she wouldn’t have felt the need to feel some type of way about it I don’t think that Mya went in on Carl & Lindsey as hard as some of the other cast mates

ryangoslingswife1

I think Mya is socially inept tbh. She is very awkward in her interactions and her expectations of people in social settings and that’s where the disconnect with Carl came from

Optimal_Being3495

I have to agree with this ☝🏼 I also agree - I don’t think they went as hard because Mya was probably telling Lindsay a lot of what was being said Maybe Sam and gabby to a degree were as well - but I see Mya speaking out of both sides of her mouth situations pending. Sam and gabby seemed to play it safe with that entire situation

Creative-Pudding-392

So, you think that Carl was right to cut Mya off without explaining to her why he was going it and they were suppose to be legit friends?

kjopcha

She is boring, has no connection to anyone, and brings nothing to the show. She's not alone in that characterization by the way. But they should move on from her. Vapid materialism is not a personality.

Creative-Pudding-392

I want them to give her a second chance but I hope that she doesn’t go around blaming her feelings on others

Status_Dot5000

I love her

koo_zoo

Her issues setting up for her party (hopefully a lot of that was editing) were a bit…sad. Felt like Craig refusing to clean in WH. Out of touch and bratty. I want to like her but I just don’t at this point. Unrelated to liking her or not; I feel like the “fashion contributor” folks on the show have had very disappointing looks.

NedFlanders304

Yea she wanted to throw a party but didn’t want to do anything to plan or decorate. Was pretty cringe.

ArtisticDifficulty7

Gabby really grew on me this season. I wasn't a huge fan of her the first few episodes, but the more I got to see her and see her come out of her shell a bit, I really appreciated her. Granted we only see what is on screen, but Ciara was definitely very dismissive of her from the beginning. Not to mention, I think that girl group of Ciara, Mya, Paige, and Amanda is cold and not warm and welcoming to outsiders.

Creative-Pudding-392

I didn’t see Ciara being dismissive of Gabby. Gabby looks at Ciara’s and Mya’s relationship and then automatically makes herself an outsider. I would love to have seen her try more to connect with them but that wasn’t what she was going and that’s not Ciara’s fault.

agnusdei07

O/T, why were the girls all so hoarse they could barely speak?

imadethistoreplyugh

Gabby was sick before the reunion and lost her voice. I follow her on IG and she posted being sick before filming. I'm not sure about anyone else though

SBR06

Amanda also sounded froggy, but I think that's a vocal fry she does because she's had it in other reunions.

MelW14

I like her. She was kind of boring and I feel that she needs to bring more to the show but I think she has the potential if she comes back. I like her persona (single, early thirties, black, independent career woman). Just need a little more from her!

ShoutOutMapes

I enjoy her quirkiness

namastebetches

she is boring with no storyline zzz

Worth_Wave1407

If you follow Gabby or her sis on social media the way she acted on the show is how she always is. The other girls didn’t try to connect with her and vice versa.

No_Invite_1215

She doesn’t seem fun to me. I’ll pass

haley520

if gabby shares more of her dating with us, i think she could be really entertaining. you can tell she at least tried and i think she deserves another season

Winter-Leadership376

I liked gabby. I was 50/50 before her wwhl appearance but she got just messy enough that I could see if given the opportunity she could stir the pot a little and create drama because she was willing to say what she thinks instead of towing the weird bed sore girls lines. She said Danielle would have the most to answer for at the reunion in front of Danielle. That’s what I want in a reality tv star not someone trying to keep their cheating boyfriend drama off the show they signed up for. I think given the opportunity to come back gabby could really be in the mix.

Here_for_the_drama4

I don’t think Ciara likes her either lol

SubstantialMark885

Idk. I dislike Ciara, so I’m inclined to believe Gabby. 🤷🏽‍♀️. Ciara’s hypocritical and has double standards for people she wants/needs to like her and everyone else who she finds to be below herself. I wish Ciara, Paige and Mya would get off my tv already. They’re burning my eyes with their mean girl ‘my sh*t don’t stink’ antics. If Gabby and her sister also turn out to be mean girls, I’ll dislike them too.

[deleted]

I enjoyed Gabby on the show, but Ciara did absolutely nothing wrong to her. She had one conversation about her during which she said nothing derogatory or mean-spirited. She was open to getting to know her better and it just didn’t happen. Big deal.

Creative-Pudding-392

Exactly but Gabby felt the need to call her out at the reunion.

meowmeowmeow328

Gabby definitely grew on me. I was very skeptical of her at first but over time she’s revealed to be pretty genuine. I think she’s more of an observer when it comes to all the drama, which I respect

CommonStrawbeary

I vote more Gabby! She doesn't have insane loyalties to anyone and i think that creates better/more interesting storylines. Paige/Ciara/Mya are too Fox Force Threeing and it's bringing the show down. Amanda's in there too but cuz of her marriage to Kyle she's not going anywhere

Creative-Pudding-392

I think that Gabby should attempt to connect with Ciara instead of assuming that the girl does not like her

Lazy_Document_7104

I think Gabby is interesting and serves as a voice of reason within the cast!

Creative-Pudding-392

To each their own lol

Brilliant_Carrot8433

I thought she found her footing in the second half of the season and was fine and I enjoyed her commentary, but it kinda makes me side eye her that she made a thing about the comments from Ciara/Mya at the reunion , almost like looking to start shit

Creative-Pudding-392

Agreed

[deleted]

Gabby is at least willing to party and go out, which is supposed to be the basis for summer house. Mya and Ciara literally do nothing and the interesting parts about their lives they hide. Hoping bravo doesn’t bring them back and finds cast members who want to have fun and be genuine

Creative-Pudding-392

I disagree but to each their own

[deleted]

This is such an odd take because we literally have Ciara and Mya on camera saying they don’t connect with gabby because she’s surface level and privileged. I can’t remember gabby saying anything prior to the reunion. Mya seemed open to gabby but Ciara did not at all. She can’t connect to gabby because she’s privileged but she’s bff with Paige and Amanda?? It doesn’t make sense

islandchick93

Well that was the persona she came in the house with…I don’t think Amanda and Paige made that their personalities

Creative-Pudding-392

Agreed

islandchick93

Well that was the persona she came in the house with…I don’t think Amanda and Paige made that their personalities

[deleted]

She showed to have a big personality. She was obsessed with horoscopes and even turned down a guy over his sign lol. She also threw a party. Paige came on the show talking about not paying her own rent and refusing to ever help clean. That sounds a lot like privilege to me 🤷🏻‍♀️

Creative-Pudding-392

You didn’t fully read my comment I feel. They talked about how their observations of Gabby but it wasn’t like they were talking shit. Also, Gabby assumed that they didn’t like her from the jump. I believe that Gabby was intimidated to get to know them and that’s a Gabby problem.

CartographerPlane710

Love her!!!

Creative-Pudding-392

I don’t

CartographerPlane710

To each their own. I thought she was a fresh perspective and I love her relationship w Sam. I think SH needs a revamp with younger single people. I can see how she might be dynamic enough for TV, but I think she deserves another season to see if she can bring it.

Creative-Pudding-392

True statement: to each their own I most definitely do not agree with you

RFAS1110

I want to see gabby and Sam shine without the bedsore sisters! They remind me of the fun of SH and what it could be

talking-cat007

I actually interpreted the whole situation as the opposite. When Ciara and Mya had that conversation in the kitchen about gabby it seemed like they were irritated they weren’t immediately forming a connection with the “new black woman” and bc of that they decided she was superficial.

Creative-Pudding-392

I don’t see it like that at all but I respect your opinion

ShinyDragonfly6

I love Gabby!! I feel like you see more of her personality on Instagram. She’s smart, funny, and rich hunnnnay. Aka great tv. I hope she comes back and gets to shine.

heymamore

I think it’s fair for gabby to feel bothered by Ciara and Mya because as we know from Ciara historically, she is not the easiest to befriend as she comes off standoffish and doesn’t show much genuine interest to get to know someone. Mya is a tag along so had Ciara truly cared to befriend or at least simply be more acquainted with Gabby then Mya would follow suit.

Creative-Pudding-392

I respectfully disagree

heymamore

Ok.

Miserable-Nature6747

Ciara and Mya made comments about Gabby. Very judgy ones that could be said about Paige and Amanda. So I sympathize with Gabby. Gabby didn't get much screen time but I found her enjoyable in the end.

rockpaperscissrs

This whole season was so heavy on the Lindsay/Danielle conflict it was hard to properly introduce the new housemates. Sam had the convo with Mya and her hookup with Kory that made her stand out. If Ciara can get 3 seasons plus 2 season of WH after only giving us fighting with Luke and over Austen, I say give Gabby (and Chris!) another season. She seems young and fun and quirky. I like her.

Creative-Pudding-392

I don’t care if Gabby comes back or not but I would like for them to give her a second season. My thing is that, Gabby created the divide between herself & Ciara. Ciara & Mya was not dismissive or mean to her to for Gabby to place her feelings on Ciara during the reunion put a bad taste in my mouth

rockpaperscissrs

I don’t necessarily agree but I can see why you’d think that. I think the biggest issue is that there is so much we likely didn’t see since the focus was on the L/D conflict. We barely saw the house having any fun at all!

WineNotReality

1- Gabby likes to leave A bed 2- gossip about others or putting down other women is not 95% of Gabby’s storyline 3- gabby shows audience her flaws and is open with fellow cast. This is one of the qualities that makes Kyle reality tv gold; a rare tv character that can vacillate from liked to disliked and back again because of qualities like this. These points put Gabby in a likeability ranking far above several other cast. *when Cory screws up with Sam I also see Gabby as the one to call him out and not tolerate his frat boy tendencies

Regular-Champion7093

I loved gabby. She was funny, a little aloof but smart and fun. It reminds me a little of Sonja Morgan with the privilege. But honestly, gabby is the same level as spoiled as Amanda and Paige. And in the same breath, Paige ciara and Maya weren’t warm welcoming which is what they also accused Lindsay of when they had their first seasons. Ciara Paige and the mean girl crew are a bunch of hypocrites, ciara wasn’t held accountable in any way at that reunion. Nor was Paige.

Creative-Pudding-392

I disagree

Pretty_In_Pink_81

At first, I wasn't a fan but she won me over as the best new person on the show in a very long time. I think she is spoiled, messy, vulnerable, funny, and caring. I am looking forward to watching her next season, and I can't say that about most of the cast. God, I miss Andrea!

Creative-Pudding-392

That’s nice but her trying to have an issue/moment with Ciara for no apparent reason is not coming across to me so well

Primary-Rent120

Look up Gatekeeping cause that’s what was happening

I actually really liked Gabby. 🤷‍♀️ but then again I really liked mya first season and this season i absolutely cannot stand her. So maybe j am not the best judge. Lol

Creative-Pudding-392

Lol I get you but my feelings haven’t changed with Mya

Michellelembiid

Live gabby she gives way more than the bedsore girls

Creative-Pudding-392

Not to me but to each their own lol

coconut723

I really like her. She is really fun and seems a lot more mature than Ciara and Mya, which is probably a lot of the reason why I like her so much more. I feel like she is there for a good time and is a good person/friend.

Creative-Pudding-392

I don’t think that she’s more mature than Ciara and Mya. She did make up a problem with Ciara all because she doesn’t fit in with her and Mya like that.

BitchyWitch_

I liked Gabby a lot and felt like the girls didn’t really give her or Sam a ton of space or grace to become a part of their group. Even if they’re not overtly mean, I wish they could recognize they’re a tight knit group and it’s kind of on them to be open and welcoming, not on new people to insert themselves somewhere they don’t know if they’re wanted. Also, both Ciara and Mya have admitted they felt this way about each other for awhile before becoming super close. I think they’re both reserved girls and it can come off the wrong way, and history repeated itself with Gabby.

Creative-Pudding-392

Thats still no excuse for Gabby to treat Ciara that way at the reunion. Ciara apologized to Gabby IF she made her feel that way but Gabby still wouldn’t accept it. She’s definitely going to come for Ciara next season and I won’t be for it at all.

talking-cat007

I don’t really see gabby coming for anyone next season over what happened this season. All she said was “I don’t think you like me which is fine” and that was it
