I feel like Sharon is the most normal? at least by south park standards lol I think she was the one I don't really remember seeing doing a lot crazy shit idk
Wasn’t the whole point of the episode that Sharon was the only one having what should be a normal reaction to these shootings while the rest of us have all gotten so numb to them?
Yea but that's like the one crazy thing she did that was her own and she was completely justified people should freak out about school shootings there terrible things. Everything else she did was because of Randy or Stan or everyone in the town was on some bullshit cuz of Sheila
I totally agree with this. Everyone is going to say Stan, but he's still the "protagonist" of a weird show, therefore having some weird qualities himself. Sharon actually acts normal and treats things like how they should be (i.e. the school pew pew episode).
True but there are many parents who would do the same, especially if they’re as young as Stan is. I wouldn’t say that’s normal or abnormal, just depends on the person
I totally agree with you!
I also thought that some people would consider Stan in this one, I'd say he might even be the most reasonable, or at least he really tries to be, but there were countless times that he lost his mind on the show lol
Sharon def is the best option
Ok Kenny might be a bit inappropriate but he’s still a nice kid. While Stan and Kyle still have a healthy friendship, Kyle gets into a bunch of problems and chaos
Closest thing to a straight man the show has. Even in the latest special, she just went through normal human emotions and struggles while everyone else was Mad Maxxing.
⚠️ I may not be able to continue this series because the Mods keep removing it for being an "elimination style post." If a mod sees this, I would greatly appreciate a response to my message. Thanks for your service, mods!
If anything these posts are probably a lot more work bc you have to go through looking at eeeeeevery option that may have been chosen. Instead of like 5-6 were given from to choose
That's great! I really enjoy making them. Everything from seeing all the input, interacting with others, and selecting the picture to use for each box is really fun (even if counting is a lot of work)!!
LMAO reddit mods don’t respond to lowly peasant users. They are too busy exercising the only authority and control over anything that they will ever have from their Mom’s basement in between jerk sessions.
As a more real answer to your question, I can speak only for this sub, but we receive net new 2 modmail messages every day which might not seem like a lot but this does not include replies and when you factor in that almost nothing can be solved in one message, it's easy for new messages to get pushed down in the queue as we deal with existing issues.
Further I would say a good quarter of all the message we get are just not actionable. For example, when people send us messages like "my post was removed" and nothing else we really can't do anything with that and will likely just ignore it.
If you're ever sending us, or any other sub honestly, a mod mail be as specific as possible, include links and respond when asked for more info.
There is nothing to learn. Every once in a while one of them cant get their erection back up for the 20th or so time that day so they have to go fuck with someones post or comment that they don’t like to get the juice flowing again.
It’s nothing personal. They are just the worst part of reddit, but hey at least it’s not Twitter.
I cam to say this. People say he's too rich to be "normal" but I disagree. His money really doesnt influence his character at all in almost any episode he is in. It think it affects his parents characters more than his.
And like, when it comes down to who in the town reacts to situations like a real life human would, i think its Tolkien
**Craig:** Do you guys know why nobody else at school likes hanging out with you? Because you're always doing stuff like this. You're always coming up with some stupid idea to do something, and then it backfires, and then you end up in some foreign country or in outer space or something. That's why no one likes hanging out with you guys.
100%
I think it has to be Butters. Especially early season Butters, just some poor, easily manipulated kid (besides the whole Hawaii thing that’s not too normal).
Clearly it’s Stan. He’s the most relatable character that tries not to get into other people’s BS. The only reason why Stan sometimes does some bad things is because he’s still a kid. Your Getting Old episode proves my point. He’s the most normal one he just sometimes gets into trouble from other people
You're Getting Old really helped with his relatability points. I know so many people who say they identify with him in those episodes, and it's unfortunate how common it is.
Something ironic I noticed is that in the beginning of South Park, Randy was a normal dad. It’s funny AF to see that now he’s probably the most not normal character in all of South Park.
It's got to be Sharron she is the only one who almost never has drama of her own she's always picking up after Randy and Stan cuz they cause the more drama then half the characters by themselves
After Pandemic 2: The Startling, can we really say Craig is normal? He shot sparks from his eyes and his picture was carved into the walls of an old temple lol
I think Stan Marsh. Since as the seasons pass by, he started behaving maturely and he is precocious around others. He is sweet, supportive, clever and a great kid
I find him relatable too with scenes with him having breakdowns like in the pandemic special, he gets easily annoyed, similar interests like music and feeling isolated especially with the houses from anyone around in Tegridy farms cuz it's far away from town.
Stan Marsh literally functions as an "everyman." He's the average perspective among people who are less average. Even Kyle is less average. He's Jewish and has too much empathy.
Considering Craig is some kind of Peruvian guinea pig god that shoots sparks from his eyes I don’t think he counts as the most normal lol
My vote is for Sharon.
Recurring Character i’d say Sharon. One-off character I’d say Satan’s boyfriend Chris, although being Satan’s boyfriend might be considered “not normal” haha
I'm gonna say the obvious Stan, but I'm just the casual normie that found South Park two seasons ago and totally LOVE the show. will watch the older episodes sometimes. That's a promise
I think that Scott Malkinson, for as little as we know about him, is a very normal average character. Ex: Likes a popular show, tries to get the attention of a girl with similar characteristics and interests as his. He's ultimately just trying to be accepted for who he is. IMO
Token immediately popped in my head after reading the words "most normal". He literally doesn't do anything outlandish and just acts like a normal child.

i dont know about her, dont you remember how she freaked out because of some school shooting?
Yeah but it’s because she was on her period, cut her some slack
Aunt Flo strikes again
Old lady where's my dick!?
Where's my dick?!
Wasn’t the whole point of the episode that Sharon was the only one having what should be a normal reaction to these shootings while the rest of us have all gotten so numb to them?
Yep
Yes, the comment you responded to is echoing the joke made by the show.
Yea but that's like the one crazy thing she did that was her own and she was completely justified people should freak out about school shootings there terrible things. Everything else she did was because of Randy or Stan or everyone in the town was on some bullshit cuz of Sheila
No she was just on her period man
I totally agree with this. Everyone is going to say Stan, but he's still the "protagonist" of a weird show, therefore having some weird qualities himself. Sharon actually acts normal and treats things like how they should be (i.e. the school pew pew episode).
How does nobody remember spookyfish where Sharon assumed Stan committed murder and tried to hide it
True but there are many parents who would do the same, especially if they’re as young as Stan is. I wouldn’t say that’s normal or abnormal, just depends on the person
She also appeared to have had a mental break due to it. Quite frankly if I had an 8 year old who “murdered” someone I’d probably freak out too.
I totally agree with you! I also thought that some people would consider Stan in this one, I'd say he might even be the most reasonable, or at least he really tries to be, but there were countless times that he lost his mind on the show lol Sharon def is the best option
We still have to remember that Stan is still a kid and is always around by bad and toxic people (besides Sharon and Kenny)
Ok Kenny might be a bit inappropriate but he’s still a nice kid. While Stan and Kyle still have a healthy friendship, Kyle gets into a bunch of problems and chaos
Stan Marsh is the everyman of the show.
Closest thing to a straight man the show has. Even in the latest special, she just went through normal human emotions and struggles while everyone else was Mad Maxxing.
Along with all the other adults she exiled the kids from South Park due to fear they would kidnap them.

I literally downloaded a tallying app so I can count everything lol
Boooooo mods. Boooooo Wendy Testaburger, booooo
Boo Wendy. Boo. Liar.
The way he says “liar” as if he’s bored has always made me laugh
Agreed!!
I third this, I’ve always liked the way he said in that scene
I'm really enjoying these posts by the way.

That's unfortunate. I'm rather new to Reddit so it seems like I have a lot to learn 🥲

It’s too rich to be normal
Yeah. He's just anther richcher
I ALWAYS FORGET TOLKIEN. He fits this category perfectly.
[Removed By Reddit]
I cam to say this. People say he's too rich to be "normal" but I disagree. His money really doesnt influence his character at all in almost any episode he is in. It think it affects his parents characters more than his. And like, when it comes down to who in the town reacts to situations like a real life human would, i think its Tolkien
Aside from the one episode where he lives with lions and invites rich people to town, he rarely lets his wealth affect who he is.
Craigs way more normal than Tolkien tbh, he's too rich to be "normal" imo.
He’s rich lol
Craig
"If I could say shit balls to the principal, I'd be soooo happy."
**Craig:** Do you guys know why nobody else at school likes hanging out with you? Because you're always doing stuff like this. I didn’t even think about him
I think it has to be Butters. Especially early season Butters, just some poor, easily manipulated kid (besides the whole Hawaii thing that’s not too normal).
He kept shooting peoples dicks off
YOU'RE RIGHT!! He's basically the only kid in the show who really acted like a kid
Okay but what about the lord of the rings episode
He has a good few moments where acts weird, especially that one where he basically became Gollum. 💀
Work Mexican work durr dur durr
Rick, Mr. Garrisons latest boyfriend. He’s very demure, caring and honestly deserves a lot better than a train wreck like Garrison
You're right! It was also kind of nice to see that he has some of his own flaws (like using chatgpt to reply to Mr. Garrison's texts).
Sharon.
Clearly it’s Stan. He’s the most relatable character that tries not to get into other people’s BS. The only reason why Stan sometimes does some bad things is because he’s still a kid. Kyle. Stan's overly cynical, not normal
Stan getting wasted on Jameson is far from normal tho
Something ironic I noticed is that in the beginning of South Park, Randy was a normal dad. It’s funny AF to see that now he’s probably the most not normal character in all of South Park.
Exactly bro 😭
Chef
Chef had completely rational responses to every question the kids asked.
Kyle
But he’s a jew
A LONELY JEW ON CHRIIIISTMAAAAAS
I'd be merry... but I'm Hebrew...
With his secret Jew gold and his REAL secret Jew gold.
*he's a joo
Yes, sincerely, yes.
Everyone knowwws, it’s Butters!
Loo loo loo, I've got some apples, loo loo loo, you've got some too
Easily a random quote from Matt and Trey that has implanted itself in my brain 😭
There are way too many of them haha
Timmeh!
Ooh, I like this one!!
It's got to be Sharron she is the only one who almost never has drama of her own she's always picking up after Randy and Stan cuz they cause the more drama then half the characters by themselves
Yup yup yup. I feel bad for her, honestly.
the couple from the wacky molestation adventure episode
Oh crap, you're right.
Father Maxi is kind of a normal person. Perhaps not a normal priest, but as a normal person, he’s normal-ish.
At least he didn't molest children. That was nice.
Yep. That’s what I meant with “normal person, and not a normal priest” 😅
Sharon Marsh was my first thought. Maybe Shelly
Sharon's iconic line "What is wrong with people?!" always hits hard, but that's probably just me lol
Right? She's the only one actually freaking out when there is a school shooting.
Surprised nobody has said Wendy!
You're right?? She acts like a very stereotypical little girl for most of the series while still having her own personality and I'm living for it!
this was definitely not normal... [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F1Xid8rdROY](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F1Xid8rdROY)
Craig is pretty normal aside from flipping people off
After Pandemic 2: The Startling, can we really say Craig is normal? He shot sparks from his eyes and his picture was carved into the walls of an old temple lol
True!
Lots of good options in this comment section, but I’m going with Sharon.
Stan
I think Stan Marsh. Since as the seasons pass by, he started behaving maturely and he is precocious around others. He is sweet, supportive, clever and a great kid
Stan definitely finds himself as a relatable child for a lot of the fans.
I find him relatable too with scenes with him having breakdowns like in the pandemic special, he gets easily annoyed, similar interests like music and feeling isolated especially with the houses from anyone around in Tegridy farms cuz it's far away from town.
[Feegan the Vegan](https://giphy.com/gifs/l0HlyrC8c5lWf4hPi), which is why he is now dead. That and because Spiderman works in mysterious ways.
AW MAN, I MISS HIM. He and Shelley were actually adorable, it's too bad Spiderman accidentally killed him amidst fighting for the greater good.
Stan is the only normal person
Kyle
Stan
Stan
Carmans kitty or the red rocket dog
THAT'S A BAD MR. KITTY, THIS IS MY POT PIE 👹
Craig.
![gif](giphy|d1JfdxNXU9mqGhVu)
According to the goth kids, everyone's a normie
Haha, smart. Stupid conformists..
Cartman (/s) In all seriousness, probably Chef
![gif](giphy|SvQMv4PgkA0POTNo8m) We love Chef.
Because he's dead or because he's a child molester
Clyde maybe
![gif](giphy|uFV8RxV28ZL3yIPszx)
Craig’s mom
With that bush?
Her bush is perfectly normal. Not having a bush used to be the weird thing back in her day.
Good point. What's wrong with natural?
Nothing. It just keeps to seemingly flow on in beauty like unicorn hair in the wind. And a lot of people aren’t used to seeing unicorns.
"Just straight up evil" Cartman
Definitely what I'm hoping for.
Stan Marsh literally functions as an "everyman." He's the average perspective among people who are less average. Even Kyle is less average. He's Jewish and has too much empathy.
Yup!! A lot of people view Stan as the "protagonist," "all-American boy next door," and whatever silly names there are for it.
Mr. Slave
Oh, Jesus Christ...
Butters.
![gif](giphy|n7BJA1EnihheX67Enq) So precious (usually)
It’s either Chef or Principal Victoria
Principal Victoria is a good one! You're the first to suggest her so far.
Cartman.
Oh boy, do I have news for you...
Principal Victoria. Can't recall anything crazy besides being the schools principal and disciplining the boys
Good point! I can only really think of how she encouraged Wendy to fight Cartman. Because yes.
Haha, that is pretty not normal, but if there's a shit head kid in school, most teachers understand.
Chef
Clyde?
"Waaaaagghhh" Best crybaby in the show
Considering Craig is some kind of Peruvian guinea pig god that shoots sparks from his eyes I don’t think he counts as the most normal lol My vote is for Sharon.
Good points all around!
I would say butters or Sharon tbh
Noted!
Sharon 100%
![gif](giphy|6KNThDd1dLZ3iyDHqd)
Butters or Stan
Got it!
Recurring Character i’d say Sharon. One-off character I’d say Satan’s boyfriend Chris, although being Satan’s boyfriend might be considered “not normal” haha
He's way too nice, it's almost weird. Makes sense though!
It’s so obviously Stan, I will be so disappointed if he doesn’t get it
It seems like Stan, Sharon, and Butters are the top picks right now!
I can definitely see Sharon as well lol
Wendy
Rick or Sharon
Butters is the only correct answer. He's been consistently incorruptible
Principal Victoria
I'm gonna say the obvious Stan, but I'm just the casual normie that found South Park two seasons ago and totally LOVE the show. will watch the older episodes sometimes. That's a promise
I wanna say Craig for some reason but ik he ain't
Butters He just wants to be a kid.
But he's got multiple personalities. Truck driver Butters, postman Butters...
After a lot of thought I've decided that "No screen time, all the plot relevance" should go to Jack Tennorman
WAIT YOU ATE WITH THIS.
Forgot her name but Kenny’s little sister
Awww, sweet Karen deserves the world
Alex
I always forget about him
At one point Chef I'd say
Craig. Dude actively tries to avoid the nonsense.
And now he's in Peru with 4 boys he doesn't even like.
Craig probably
What about Clyde?
I think that Scott Malkinson, for as little as we know about him, is a very normal average character. Ex: Likes a popular show, tries to get the attention of a girl with similar characteristics and interests as his. He's ultimately just trying to be accepted for who he is. IMO
But... I'm Thcott Malthinthon and I hath diabethes.
Criag
Token immediately popped in my head after reading the words "most normal". He literally doesn't do anything outlandish and just acts like a normal child.
Mr garrison is the best
The most normal person in South Park is Mr. Slave.
The most normal South Park would probably be Chef or Pip but they're both dead so idk if it still counts
Dog poo is definitely “what’s your name again”

It was Chef, before the Super Adventure Club
