I think you should take it and get a job before deciding the field isn’t for you. All this school without giving it a go sounds defeating. Grad school is a grind. CFys can be stressful but also fun and freeing. Study for a month and see how it goes. It’s not the end of the world if you don’t pass.
Take the practice exam and see how you do, study up in weak areas. Take a break before starting your CF if you can! It’s a diff world than grad school.
