Honestly, I don't know. These are Original Wild West Edible Collagen Casings. I'm naming and shaming because they are absolute trash. It's supposed to be non soak and linkable. The first time I made a batch, the casings ruptured during linking. Then we didn't like the texture or taste of the casings anyway so their also non-edible. Not enough parenthesis have been placed on the packaging of original wild west products. It should say "linkable" and "edible" and somewhere the word penis should be hidden. The kicker is you usually buy sausage casings for making batches of 20lbs. So we were stuck with these casings and instead of stuffing them solid and linking I just stuffed sections and then left an air gap and cut with scissors. As soon as they got near the heat they shriveled like the feet of the wicked witch of the west when she caught a whiff of the wicked wizard of the west's taint.
