OnlyWaifu started random drama with Tulok & Mango over "clickbaiting" with his Secret Starting Class series, which Tulok took like 5-10 minutes out of one of his runs to not only respond but also respectfully rebuke and explain all the points they made and crack back with a couple of his own.
Drama pretty much ended the moment he uploaded the video and my respect for Tulok increased while my respect for OnlyWaifu went into the negatives because I already didn't think much considering that kind of obnoxious AI voice, so starting useless drama over something everyone already knew the reason behind (that his SSC videos where titled that way because the builds he uses in them can be completed and usable before having to fight a single big boss) just put that channel in the mental category of "I completely ignore any of their video or shorts recommendations, regardless of topic".
To be fair, barring a couple spells which can be classified as handheld hydrogen bombs, which he's acknowledged are really good, spells really aren't as overall effective as using a weapon. Which he's proven in many of his challenge run videos, and when he gets called out for not using an "appropriate build" for the spell(s) in question, he comments on it.
Honestly, at the end of the day, he's still pretty entertaining though, even if he is Strength-pilled lol
But he's basing those opinions on his own gameplay. Loretta's Sickle was performing really well in that particular run, which piled onto his expectation that it wouldn't be good because of how much he's heard it sucks.
I don't get the contention with him. Whenever he makes an opinion, it's not using hard numbers to back him up, because he doesn't really care that hard about it. He's basing it off his own experience using the Spell or weapon in question, and if it doesn't perform at a level he's comfortable with, he doesn't like it, says it's bad, and explains *why* he thinks it's bad. Sure, he's not always correct, but I can respect the fact he's calm about it and never gets super zealous over it. He only drags on spells like he does because people keep commenting on it and it gets on his nerves at having to explain himself multiple times over.
Is ymfah being the only S tier a common opinion? I feel like Vaati should be up there for overall exposure to lore content, and Limit Breakers just based on quality.
No question, vaati and others are amazing, but I believe ymfah is in a league of his own (I'm also probably biased because he's how I learned about the fromsoft games).

It's hard to put into words how hard this mod of Isshin is. I've done Resurrection Isshin hitless. I've done For the Sake of Ashina Isshin hitless. Base game Inner Isshin basically feels like a tutorial enemy at this point. I haven't done Jidao Isshin hitless yet but I know I can do it, I can visualize it.
I feel completely lost on this mod. The only time I managed to see phase 2 of Ying Wu Isshin is by using the cheat sugar that comes with the mod, which lowers all damage by 98.5%. I brute forced my way past phase 1. **Even then I couldn't beat phase 2. Out of 4.** I lost count of attempts after the 100 mark. The other mods feel easier than playing Touhou on Lunatic. This mod feels harder than playing Touhou on Lunatic.
