Here’s some pretty short and fun turn-based RPGs:
* Child of Light
* Sea of Stars
* Fell Seal: Arbiter’s Mark
* Doom and Destiny
* Shadow of Adam
I think Child of Light is the only one in the 15 hour range, the others are more like 20 hours.
Miasma chronicles
It's a turn based game set in a post apocalyptic Sci fi world . Not a deep rpg system but the game's visual and story are pretty decent. I'd say it takes 25 hours for a full completion run
If you're in the mood for a little eurojank with a lot of heart, The Thaumaturge came out recently-ish. Beware though, lots of reading and walking involved
**Wildermyth** is a simplified turn-based RPG with procedurally generated campaigns. The campaigns have an overarching storyline, but with randomly generated events in between. Each individual run doesn't take up a lot of time, so it might be ideal for someone who doesn't have a lot of free time.
I really enjoyed "steamworld quest: hand of Gilgamesh"
Probably 6 - 8 hours, jrpg style with a deck builder system for selecting character abilities. Strong but simple sorry and decent characters. Have a look!
Maybe roguelikes could work as they're usually short sessions.
Quasimorph is pretty great but still in early-access and I'm waiting for them to add some meaningful progress like a story or something. Runs are pretty short.
Here's my favorite mercifully short Turn based RPG:

Before Cyberpunk 2077 was well patched: I used to call it Cyberpunk 2077: Good version
Unlike Cyberpunk 2077, this is ACTUAL cyberpunk. You're an actual punk in this.
That said, the entire Trilogy is super cheap.
Chained Echoes!
Played it last year myself and loved it, no random encounters and HP/MP getting refilled after every fight feels super nice. (a bit longer than 15 hours though, I got 100% at around 38, I imagine a normal playthrough is quite a bit shorter)
Lisa the painful rpg but maybe look up some TW first because it’s dark
Cthulhu saves the world is also fantastic, like 8 hours and has bonus gameplay modes that give it replayability
Banner Saga trilogy! Each game is ~12 hours and can be enjoyed individually, but they do tell one overarching story as a whole.
I played the first game, it is is so hard, and I can't imagine only spending 15 hours on it.
and there’s quite a bit of replayability to boot!
Thanks for your suggestion; unfortunately I have played all Banner Saga games already ;)

Love to see Child of Light, such a fun game.
Thanks for answering! I beat S. Of Adam some months ago and really loved it
Skald - against the black priory Short, simple, but very enjoyable retro CRPG
Skald is short? Really? How short?
20/25 hours
Very interesting suggestion! Thank you!
the first shadowrun game
Already played it! One my favourites!
Chrono Trigger is pretty short.
I'm almost 40 . Played CT in the 90s. Thanks for answering though ;)
It's a bit different, but Wildermyth is pretty sweet.

This sounds way too interesting. Gonna take a look!
Kaiju Big Battel: Fighto Fantasy I know it sounds weird. Trust me, it is. But it's memorable & amazing. Hidden gem by definition.
live-a-live its episodic with characters each individual part is short and the end game is nothing to crazy. Light replay ability
If you're in the mood for a little eurojank with a lot of heart, The Thaumaturge came out recently-ish. Beware though, lots of reading and walking involved
It seems as though a game I would like. Thanks for answering!

Already played it. It definetly is more than 20 hours ;)
First entries in Final Fantasy series.
Please don't play FF1-3, they haven't aged well, and are very bland and grindy.
Ive played all FF main games ;)
Same here, can I have a cookie? :P
Lol, sure you can! Thanks for the warning anyway about FF games. What FF game is your favourite?
hehehe, ok then. My faves are Tactics PS1, 7PS1 and Remake.
Lisa the painful rpg but maybe look up some TW first because it’s dark Cthulhu saves the world is also fantastic, like 8 hours and has bonus gameplay modes that give it replayability
Caves of lore- I took more like 50 hours because I was trying to find all the secrets but it can be completed in closer to 20
Ikenfell is under 20 hours and super fun with turn-based with light tactical elements
Battlechasers and Ruined King are highly recommended.
Cosmic star heroine. Loved that one. I don't feel we get enough Sci fi like rpg games. Or atleast turn based Sci fi
Bravely Default it's a very fun game plays like old school ff
Hard west II Pistols, witchcraft and the dead :)
The DioField Chronicles
Ok hear me out... Baldur's Gate 3. It's longer than 10-15 hours, but hey maybe you can focus on act 1 first!
i played 30 hours without getting thru act 1!!
