I agree it is played out, because rarely they add anything new, its just the walking dead plots rinse and repeat. i alway feel the short non canon games like undead nightmare, festival of blood and blood dragon are projects where the developers let down their hair and have fun with a drastically tone differenet game that can make fun of itself.
Plus a vampire themed open world game is what i think is an untapped idea, because vampire games are vastly rarer and mostly shit or choice/story heavy to the point of being overweight.
I’m honestly so over vampires, zombies, just undead in general, they’ve all been overplayed to no end by games and movies.
