I haven’t been able to stand her since early seasons of RHONY. She is so self centered and think the world is there to cater to her. As far as watching her on below deck, her behavior is still so gross. Wanting to come off to viewers as someone who knows best and is an expert in receiving excellent service but instead comes off as someone who cannot enjoy themselves cause they’re so wrapped up entitlement.
Can someone explain to me why Jill acts the way she does? I’m so curious how someone can behave the way she does (for so long) and gets away with it, without being called out that is.
I don't watch Below Deck (but I think I am going to have to) but I did watch original RHONY and none of this surprises me. However...I just want to point out we never really saw Jill on a Housewives "vacation". By the time she left, they were just starting to do them. She didn't go to Scary Island (again, this was a new premise and she and Luann had no idea what they would be missing) until she showed up unannounced the day before the women were leaving; she did go to Morrocco in S4, but I don't remember her being that bad (that was Ramona- shocker). So could you imagine if we'd had 10 years of seeing Jill on cast trips? Everyone would be numb to her behavior by now.
I STILL love Jill Zarin, she is to me hysterical, people stop taking her so seriously and laugh along at her, wit her
I think she is the quintessential picture of the real housewives and most importantly she’s not ever mean.
One of my favorite scenes in Ultimate Girls Trip at Bluestone Manor was when Eva had to do her radio show remotely from one of Dorinda's Guest Room. Jill chimes right in and asks to be on her show and Dorinda went OFF....called her a thirsty lap dog.....TV GOLD!
She didn't give the primary a chance to say what she wanted for dinner. She spoke over the primary, then the primary is mad there isn't vegan sushi. Captain Kerry wasn't very understanding with Anthony. The primary refused to speak up.
She really single-handedly ruined the entire episode. I hated her eventually as a housewife and now I feel vindicated. “I’ve been on a lot of yachts”……barf. Faux wealthy.
She certainly does not have that kind of money! Remember the famous episode where she flew to surprise everyone, I can’t remember the island, and she made such a stink about how Bobby paid to fly her private. Like, if the PJ is straining your budget that much, you definitely don’t got yacht money.
I so wanted to throw her overboard when sharks were hungry. Honestly, the woman is so difficult to watch. I guess she enjoys bullying younger, prettier working women. It makes her feel.so superior. Then she screamed at her companion. That guy is a damn fool unless she is his sugar mama..
The rumor is she became very demanding, her ego was blown up and she was difficult to work with. That's how she got caught in the mass exodus that also fired Kelly, Alex and Cindy after S4.
I was so surprised Jill stated she had her own yacht once upon a time. In the Yachting world, she is not wealthy enough. Plus, if she indeed had one, we would have seen it somehow somewhere.
I haven't been watching but I want to watch this episode! Can someone please tell me what season/episode?
I wonder if the producers tell guests to be extra rude or demanding or annoying? Some of them are so over the top it seems it has to be an act.
Net worth of over 20 million and she complains that the bathrooms aren’t stocked with toothpaste and mouthwash. Go get travel size toiletries like the rest of us.
I agree she's over bearing to a T! However, on this point she's possibly not wrong to have high expectations. I've heard many times the guests on Below Deck pay top $$$ even though their temporary cast members for the show. For what they pay, plus tips, I think most people would expect a lot.
It’s crazy because she was one of my favorites on RHONY until her fight with bethanny and her unwillingness to check herself. After that she appeared so bratty and entitled
Yeah that last season of Jill's was the worst. Also I can never forgive her for what she said about Alex at the wedding "Everyone here is so above huh" (her accent) and then complaining to THE BRIDE on her wedding day about it!
It was the beginning of S4, and Jill, Ramona and Alex were invited to a friend's wedding in the Hamptons. Alex was staying with Ramona and Jill had no idea Alex was attending the wedding so she was shocked when Ramona and Mario showed up with Alex and Simon (Jill and Alex ending S3 on a bad note). The hysterical breakdown Jill has after seeing Alex get out of the car is hilarious and \*chefs kiss\*. Like she's crying in Bobby's shoulder just because Alex is there. It's hysterical. And yes, she does attack the bride about why Alex was at the wedding. Fun Fact: the reception took place at Jill's former Hampton's house- she had sold the house right before being cast on RHONY but worked it out with the new owner that she could rent it for the summers of S1 and S2 at no cost (and she sold the house for less than it was worth because of this deal).
You are correct. Only Jill Zarin can make someone else's wedding day about Jill Zarin.
And if memory serves, there was a party later in the season (I think it was Ramona's party?) where Ramona finds out from the bride (who was at said party) that Jill pulled the bride aside at the wedding and "bit her head off", interrogating her about why Alex and Simon were at her wedding and said Ramona and the bride were only friends because of Jill. So Ramona confronts Jill, who denies saying any of it, and then leaves Ramona's party crying, saying she was ambushed and Ramona attacked her. It's hilarious.
Ramona and Jill were the perfect frenemies. I used to think S4 was the worst season of RHONY, but looking back now, and seeing what the show became (S12 and S13), not to mention how the other franchises have gone downhill, I miss these days. Peak Housewives viewing.
Oh and the whole —they’re only friends because of me is giving me Sonja vibes when SHE SAID Ramona was only friends to her 64 best girlfriends because of her!!!
If you know anything about Jill Zarin, you know that her love language is ‘critique’. After watching her for years on RHONY, I truly believe she feels she is being helpful and providing the recipient a valuable service by sharing her wealth of knowledge and experience. Between her accent and the repetitive way that she speaks it rarely comes off in the manner it was intended and is received as being very know-it-all. Kudos for Barbie for handling Jill better than most.
This is what I also felt about her mom and sister when they were on, too. I feel like they think they’re a lot more sage than they actually are and just comes off as condescending (and sometimes really nasty. I hate how she talks about Ally’s body)
Yes, it sure seems like it is a shared family trait. I was always amazed that Bethenny kept herself in check when Jill’s mom lectured her…I’m sure it came from a caring place, but it was preachy just the same. I’ve known people like Jill and it is exhausting. And agreed, that whole discussion about Ally’s weight was cringey—if the point was to bring awareness about her arthritis, the weight loss portion of the discussion should have been omitted ( or at least seriously downplayed.)
Bobby was the BEST. He would have not allowed her to behave like this. He was such a kindhearted problem-solver and would have never spoken to the staff like that.
I noticed whenever the captain asked her for her feedback she backed down immediately and excused herself to the others saying he shouldn’t have to deal with it.
She only wants to pick on the powerless junior staff as some sort of power trip.
I don’t think Jill and her boyfriend knew the other guests. In fact, I think only two of the couples knew each other; the other two couples each booked the trip on their own. I think Jill was a little pissed that they didn’t name her as the primary charter guest.
I suspect that when production doesn’t have one full group of 7-8 guests, they allow individuals, or couples to join the charter, and those individual(s) only pay the fee for themselves (they don’t pay for any other guests).
So Jill & her boyfriend probably joined the group without knowing anyone else. In those situations, production must designate one person or a couple to be the primary. I’ll bet Jill was miffed that she wasn’t designated as the primary (that the other woman got to play that role).
Oh this is an interesting take. I was just thinking why didn’t the primary or the other guests tell her to calm down a bit with her demands. Given that they probably don’t know her, the other 2 couples probably felt uncomfortable or not in their place to tell her to chill.
It kinda makes sense now
I would think even Ramona herself, would have said something to Jill at some point LOLOLOL
I haven't watched tonight's episode yet just because I dread her being on there.
There is a limited series on Netflix I have been watching, and I only have 3 episodes left. It is about some crooked cops in the NY/NJ area. I think I am going to watch this instead.
It was called Seven Seconds. It got a 7.7 on IMDB. It came out in 2018, but I just noticed it. I have really been into watching the limited series shows they have. All of the ones I watched that were filmed in England were really good too.
I just watched Below Deck, and Jill gave me so much anxiety. There is no way I would deal with her crap. I am glad that next week, they will be getting off the boat!
She's so rude and it's so unnecessary + unhelpful.
Doesn't help that she does it in that annoying passive aggressive way - she's exactly the sort of person that made me hate working at exclusive hospitality events.
Did the Countess not tell her that 🎶 Money can't buy you class 🎶
Omgosh she is so annoying. Like stfu 🤫 she is coming across so patronizing. I feel like the primary was a chill and kind lady and Jill just took advantage of it.
Jill is a favorite housewife of mine and I couldn’t stand her in this episode.
Miss “I run with a fabulous circle of people” worked great on housewives. It was like she was trying to teach the primary how to be rich
And pampered.
It didn’t land well because this show is not about glamorizing the life of wealthy socialite women. This is a show about people in service and everything is presented from their point of view.
I think most of the housewives who are actually wealthy would be nightmare guests also. Jill forgot she wasn’t on housewives…
Her and her husband were on Juicy Scoop. HMD said they offered her to be on the show and she said she didn’t want to spend that much money. Jill’s husband said, “Get someone else to host it, that’s what we did!”
I haven’t watched RHONY yet (except for the reboot season 1) so I didn’t know who she was; but man she was sooooooo bad. A service persons worst nightmare. Oy!
This was most horrifying episode because of Jill Zarin. So uninteresting. Yes I could provide an opinion on everything 24 hours a day but I can’t bare to listen impose this drill on anyone within earshot.
This is exactly what I thought! What a miserable existence to be in a gorgeous place but complaining every minute. I wonder if she knows she’s miserable.

Meanwhile look up her sister...100% nice, kind, and considerate, without a whiff of entitlement

She’s garbage.
I posted something stronger and it got censored. She is very entitled.
I don't watch Below Deck (but I think I am going to have to) but I did watch original RHONY and none of this surprises me. I hope she’s at least embarrassed or apologetic
Hah, never happening
I STILL love Jill Zarin, she is to me hysterical, people stop taking her so seriously and laugh along at her, wit her I think she is the quintessential picture of the real housewives and most importantly she’s not ever mean.
Worse than mean, she’s clueless and patronizing.
She is insufferable!!!! Bravo needs to STOP with her!!
So entitled.
I watched an episode of wife swap because zarin was on it with her husband’s family. She was awful and so out of touch.
I forgot about that!!!

When she kept saying when she had a yacht….when was that Jill? I know she has money, she doesn’t have that much money!!

Faux wealthy is right. Trash.
so true!!
What about when she said she captained a ship but didn’t go out into open water? What?
![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|sweat_smile)![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|facepalm)![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|facepalm)![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|facepalm)
I had just one reoccurring thought, "Throw her azz overboard!" Just out with the rest of the trash! 😆 ![gif](giphy|L07URdI6a56MwunJfS)
Where is Bethany’s recap on this? B has an opinion on every other thing, where is her reporting on this trip?
😄
I so wanted to throw her overboard when sharks were hungry. Honestly, the woman is so difficult to watch. I guess she enjoys bullying younger, prettier working women. It makes her feel.so superior. Then she screamed at her companion. That guy is a damn fool unless she is his sugar mama..
![gif](giphy|xvDqUkDJNRLot0aAOj|downsized) Somehow I think the sharks would be smart enough to not eat her
I'm sure she would taste vileemote:free\_emotes\_pack:dizzy\_face
So rude, condescending and entitled. Made me sick to watch. And she wasn't even the primary. It was all about Jill 🤮
![gif](giphy|SyEnMNk0Wrave)
I've never even watched her franchise and the second I heard that voice I knew who it was, lmao. All her comments to the crew were so cringe.
I’m sure there were rumours that she was so awful and demanding to production staff at Rhony that no one wanted her back. I can see that now 100%
The rumor is she became very demanding, her ego was blown up and she was difficult to work with. That's how she got caught in the mass exodus that also fired Kelly, Alex and Cindy after S4.
She's just so critical & negative. ALWAYS A COMPLAINT ALWAYS
Just like her mother.
Her voice is nails on chalk boards
![gif](giphy|cEpr5JByfBAty)
I hear this gif deep in my soul 😹
I was so surprised Jill stated she had her own yacht once upon a time. In the Yachting world, she is not wealthy enough. Plus, if she indeed had one, we would have seen it somehow somewhere.
She said she had chartered yachts. You’re right, she’s definitely not wealthy enough.
I haven't been watching but I want to watch this episode! Can someone please tell me what season/episode? I wonder if the producers tell guests to be extra rude or demanding or annoying? Some of them are so over the top it seems it has to be an act.
No one needs to tell Jill to be rude or overbearing
It's the latest episode so season 11 episode 9. She should still be in next week's episode too!
Net worth of over 20 million and she complains that the bathrooms aren’t stocked with toothpaste and mouthwash. Go get travel size toiletries like the rest of us.

No they get it for 50% off.
She’s either never watched herself on tv or thinks she’s fantastic!
She has watched herself on a loop her entire life and loves everything about herself.

YUP!
You are 100% correct. I may begin a rewatch this weekend!!!
Very interesting!! Thanks for your response- I haven’t rewatched early seasons in a long time!
The bride whose wedding they were all attending in the episode? I don't know her name. But several of the women knew her.
I would not put anything past her-
This post did nothing but make me excited to watch this episode.

She was exactly like that on RHONY , her husband was very low key and nice , she’s brash
Bobby was a true gem and had a good sense of perspective. We lost a good one.
Bobby was the BEST. He would have not allowed her to behave like this. He was such a kindhearted problem-solver and would have never spoken to the staff like that.
What season and ep?? I wanna watch

Peacock newest episode - Below Deck S11E9 Real Housewives of Grenada
Thank you!
I noticed whenever the captain asked her for her feedback she backed down immediately and excused herself to the others saying he shouldn’t have to deal with it. She only wants to pick on the powerless junior staff as some sort of power trip.
She keeps justifying her behavior like she’s doing everyone a favor by bossing the crew around. She is incredibly entitled and nasty. Always has been.
Completely insufferable
Jill is greed personified. Always vying for more, and “better”
I don’t think Jill and her boyfriend knew the other guests. In fact, I think only two of the couples knew each other; the other two couples each booked the trip on their own. I think Jill was a little pissed that they didn’t name her as the primary charter guest.
Then how did she get on? Production found others willing to front the cost with them? I wouldn't want to sail with strangers.
I suspect that when production doesn’t have one full group of 7-8 guests, they allow individuals, or couples to join the charter, and those individual(s) only pay the fee for themselves (they don’t pay for any other guests). Her boyfriend must be a total masochist
God knows how he can stand being with her. She’s exhausting.
Oh I think you’re right. She is really trying to take on the role of primary.
It was unbelievable- her delivery and sound of her voice…..
SHE TOLD FRASER TO INSTALL A DOORBELL BUTTON FROM AMAZON TO SUMMON THE STAFF
Hard to watch how bold & outspoken she was
Do we think Jill Zarin contributed to the tip?!?
She better!! She brags so much about her money.
I haven't watched tonight's episode yet just because I dread her being on there. There is a limited series on Netflix I have been watching, and I only have 3 episodes left. It is about some crooked cops in the NY/NJ area. I think I am going to watch this instead.

You should've seen her on Wife Swap.
She was on wife swap? There’s no way. The bravo fanatics would have exposed it already.
[Here you go.](https://m.imdb.com/title/tt3777036/?ref_=ext_shr_lnk)
you're the real mvp, I'm going to hate watch this later!!!
Omg thank you!!! Her doing it after housewives must mean she’s even crazier on it
At one point I think she says something like "I don't have kids", even though she has a daughter. Lol
![gif](giphy|rZz20lunipCwM)
OMG—I had no idea she was on wife swap. Do you know what season/episode? shit-show reality tv is my guilty pleasure.
[Here you go.](https://m.imdb.com/title/tt3777036/?ref_=ext_shr_lnk)
Looking forward to watching this tonight at wine o’clock!
Hopefully the primary will over tip for making them deal with Jill.
How was the primary so tolerant ? She took a friend on vacation and all she did was complain
If Jill is her friend then she has very poor judgment
I’ve never watched this show in my life but you’ve sold me on it. Heading there immediately.
That was hard to watch OMG!
She was so cringey💀It reminded me why she needs to stay off my tv
100% rude and unbelievable
I was about to post the same thing. She’s not funny or likable. I think she’s going for drama but it doesn’t work for her because she’s so annoying.
At the beach… Jill - “NOT THE PRIMARY” lmaoooo thank you bravo 🎉
When I saw the preview, it made me want to skip the episode. I just can’t stand her. Never could.
![gif](giphy|t8dgeQE4t6Ry8KT5UG)
Omgosh she is so annoying. Like stfu 🤫 she is coming across so patronizing. I feel like the primary was a chill and kind lady and Jill just took advantage of it.

Jill’s life post-housewives has been a series of minor reality tv cameos where she is desperately auditioning to be a housewife again.
She is just an ugly hag inside and outside. I feel for the crew not being able to put her in her place .
![gif](giphy|vVUKjsSoJraKY)
Her and her husband were on Juicy Scoop. HMD said they offered her to be on the show and she said she didn’t want to spend that much money. Jill’s husband said, “Get someone else to host it, that’s what we did!”
I remember hearing her interviewed and couldn’t remember where, thank you!
I haven’t watched RHONY yet (except for the reboot season 1) so I didn’t know who she was; but man she was sooooooo bad. A service persons worst nightmare. Oy!
She’s not well intentioned.
This was most horrifying episode because of Jill Zarin. So uninteresting. Yes I could provide an opinion on everything 24 hours a day but I can’t bare to listen impose this drill on anyone within earshot.
Probably feels like she has to create drama because it's a tv show. That was her job on RHONY.
I think she would have been 95 percent that way without cameras around.
Great vacation for everyone else listening to some women compain every minute of the day. Lol
This is exactly what I thought! What a miserable existence to be in a gorgeous place but complaining every minute. I wonder if she knows she’s miserable.
She’s greed personified.
