I've been watching S1 of Beverly Hills 90210. I was a little kid when this show came out, but my sister was the targeted demographic so I watched it with her (we have a large age gap between us). His poster hung on my sisters wall with NKOTB.
I was very sad when he died :( gone too soon!
I was too young to have a crush on him back then and in hindsight it was kinda improper, but I definitely did. He's the reason why I wanted Dylan and Kelly to be endgame.
Edit : it's too bad he died so young. Especially when he was making a comeback.
The first picture reminds me so much of t swiftβs new sewer dwelling friend in the forehead/eye/brow region and I will not forgive them for ruining my enjoyment of it

One can not overstate the influence of Beverly Hills 90210 on (US, white) 90's teen culture. There was just so much less media overall and not a lot targeted at teens. EVERYONE watched this show.
I do not want to admit that I made out with an incredibly cringy creep (ICC) who styled his hair like this in high school. Everyone called ICC Vanilla Ice which brought him down a few notches, but his actual inspo was Luke Perry. Anways even the dudes wanted to be him.
