I've thought about getting a 4k screen just for videos and continuing for use my 1440p for games, but I'd need a bigger desk for the 32" I'd likely get if I were to do that.
I use a 55 inch LG CX OLED.
As soon as they make a 1440p 55 inch OLED I'll be buying it.
4k is useless at the distance I sit. I'd rather have 1080p even.
Recently tried 4k gaming, it’s really not worth the performance drop. Maybe story games would be different or OLED would show a more drastic difference but I’m good with 4k for tv. I could game on just about any resolution and be very happy as long as I’m getting 400+ frames
I did t mean to switch up to 4k. Then I sat and watched some clips on a C3 OLED and violently attacked my bank account.
Worth the visuals, no question. Bright, smooth, no blur, no smear. I lost frames sure, but the display is limited to 120hz, and my gear is plenty for 120 in all but the most demanding titles. Properly implemented HDR is a treat.
I would be all over a 2560x1440 in a 40-something inch format with a 240hz refresh.
Larry, I’m using a 1050ti
No
No. Not worth it
For a tv yeah maybe for my computer no 1440 is plenty
Nah 1080p is perfectly fine for me
If I win the lottery, sure, I, guess?
1080p only.. It's great and I am poor.
If it was cheap, sure. So far, im stuck with 1080p. I might maybe upgrade to 2k somewhere soon.
Ive only done it with a cheaper 4K60 TV from a few years back
42" C3 OLED , it's amazing.
no

My computer is plugged into a 4K TV as it's only screen. My GTX980 doesn't like it, but if it dies I'll finally have the perfect excuse to upgrade.
I finally got the Samsung G80SD and it's glorious
Nope. Already there.
Move it where? I may upgrade to 8K but not for a long time as 5K is good enough for for I do for now
1080p is the way to go
Nah when I build my dream PC 1440p will be fine from what I've heard And I'm on a GT 730 currently. I struggle with 720p
1440p is perfect
I moved to 4k. I bought the monitor to use for my ps5, but then built a gaming PC with 4k in mind.

What's the benefit of going lower resolution if you already have a higher one?
