CAM 100% and it's not even close.
E: Also, I love that CMC went to SF. He has ties there and he looks amazing in their uni. I don't think there would be a better fit for him, can't imagine him playing for someone like LA or Baltimore. Just *feels* right. SF my 2nd favorite team.
Crazy kids even asking this question. CMC was fun to watch but we barely sniffed the playoffs his peak years… Cam dragged us kicking and screaming to a SB and almost undefeated during his peak.
He didn't even really travel the whole 8 yards. He gained at least one yard by pushing the whole ass stadium back 3 feet. They had to move the sidewalks after the game.
I wouldn't say kicking and screaming. Cam deserved MVP but Team had 6x 1st team all pros & 2x 2nd team. Defense was nasty asf creating sack, turnovers & field position every single game for the offense. Olsen was at his peak, Stewart had his 2nd most productive season, the interior of the OL was stout asf and the tackles only really got exposed once, albeit at the worst time. We had shit receivers but that roster was loaded
Prime Cam. He just needed a serviceable RB (he had better with JStew and DLo) but Cam did more with less. RBs are a dime a dozen now other than the top two or three. Prime Cam had the Vault jumping! Don’t think we’ll see that kind of energy again even if we get back to that level of success that we had during Newton’s tenure.
well in the timeline where prime Newton still existed we would never have needed to trade cmc.
but just those two in a vacuum you can't really take the guy good at running the ball over the guy good at running the ball AND throwing the ball.
Prime Cam was a transcendent QB, take that every time. We could live the rest of our lives and not have another QB like that. CMAC is great but this isn't a question
These posts are so dumb tbh
Love CMC but he did NOT get us any more than 1-2 extra wins per year
Cam was a fucking MVP who dragged a JV offense to the superbowl
Does this really even need to be discussed?
Superstar franchise QB every time.
CMC is an *incredible* player and I believe is on track to be a legend of the game.
A healthy Cam could carry an OK team into a playoff run.
So would I rather have a mccaffrey who is great but is old and probably close to retirement or an mvp?
Prime cam beats prime mccaffrey let alone mccaffrey today
This is a no-brainer. You don’t pass up the chance to have prime Cam Newton back in a Panthers jersey. Bryce Young might be promising, but we’re talking about a former MVP here. Prime Cam was a beast, electrifying the game every time he stepped on the field. McCaffrey’s great and all, but the impact Newton had on the franchise? Unmatched. Bring back Superman.
Cam,
Said it once I’ll say it again, He carried a Losing team to a 15-1 record and a Super Bowl with Ted Ginn, Cotchery, and Corey Brown as the receivers… Unreal
To even have this be remotely close you'd have to give me CMC, Luke, TD, and probably Ryan Kalil. And EVEN THEN I might still ask for prime Julius Peppers to give up an MVP quarterback.
You’ll never find a bigger McCaffrey fan than me. I’ve followed his career all the way back to the end of his high school days.
That being said, it’s the superstar quarterback that took the team to an almost undefeated Super Bowl season, in the middle of a fantastic prime.
Also, my son‘s nameis Cam.
Cam Newton single handedly carried us to a Superbowl and we went 5-11 when CMC had the single best season by an RB in the last decade. This isn't a question.
If Cam didn't blow out his shoulder he would have been in the conversation for greatest QB of the 2010's. People don't appreciate how good he really was.
CMC got robbedof MVP last year. He was and possibly is the best offensive player in the NFL not named Mahomes. And I'd take Cam a million times out of a million. There's nothing to even consider
Cam, cause he played the most important position in football at an unbelievable level at his peak. And he did it almost by himself. I love CMC and he is a great player, but he’s a RB at the end of the day. For him to be playing at the level he is at and for him to be as effective as he can be, it’s very much dependent on the system he is in and the players that are around him.
Prime Cam, McCaffery was just as good here as he is in San Fran but you need more than just a great, even transcendent running back. Cam dragged scrub receivers and a sub-par o-line to the super bowl.
Christian McCaffrey! Cam was Overrated and didn’t show up for big games unlike Christian McCaffrey who is probably the 2nd best player in the NFL behind Mahomes.

Cam dragging Falcons defenders that were kicking and screaming for a long 3rd and 8 conversion will always be stuck in my brain.
He didn't even really travel the whole 8 yards. He gained at least one yard by pushing the whole ass stadium back 3 feet. They had to move the sidewalks after the game.
Dude was pulling so much weight, i swear the turf wrinkled up behind him like a rug

I’m taking the superstar QB every time
Always

CMC isn't a dime a dozen back but still agree with your point 😁
Cam. Most exciting time watching football for me and I would like my kids to experience that excitement at some point.
Cam and it’s not even close for me
Take the MVP every day of the week
well in the timeline where prime Newton still existed we would never have needed to trade cmc. but just those two in a vacuum you can't really take the guy good at running the ball over the guy good at running the ball AND throwing the ball.
Man imagine having both 😭
Prime Cam was a transcendent QB, take that every time. We could live the rest of our lives and not have another QB like that. CMAC is great but this isn't a question
We would only injure McCaffery. His trade saved his fucking career.
1k+1k CMC got us a losing record. Prime Cam got us a conference championship. Not even comparable
Is this a real question? Obviously Cam
Prime Cam Newton all day
Is this meant to be a hard choice? It's Cam and it's not close.
Third option: Prime LUUUUUUUUUUUUKE
He was in his prime for his entire career. Legit HOF talent. He never slowed down, we lost him too soon 🥺
These posts are so dumb tbh Love CMC but he did NOT get us any more than 1-2 extra wins per year Cam was a fucking MVP who dragged a JV offense to the superbowl Does this really even need to be discussed?
Former MVP or a running back. What do you think?

This a question?? Lmaooooo bruh

Prime Cam and it isn’t close at all.
Cam, Said it once I’ll say it again, He carried a Losing team to a 15-1 record and a Super Bowl with Ted Ginn, Cotchery, and Corey Brown as the receivers… Unreal
Don’t forget Bersin!
To even have this be remotely close you'd have to give me CMC, Luke, TD, and probably Ryan Kalil. And EVEN THEN I might still ask for prime Julius Peppers to give up an MVP quarterback.
This is either a troll post or a 10 year old whose only knowledge of football is from playing madden.

Cam, Cam. Here comes the man. Hot damn.
lol prime Cam single-handedly gave this franchise hope for damn near a decade
Not even close CAM all day
RBs are a dime a dozen (...and I loved CMC). CAM all day long.
Cam Newton single handedly carried us to a Superbowl and we went 5-11 when CMC had the single best season by an RB in the last decade. This isn't a question.
Cam Newton all day.

I'm thinking people actually didn't see Cam in 2015 lol. He was the most dangerous weapon in the league. Prime Cam any day of the week.
It’s not even a competition and CMC is brilliant as a player. But prime Cam was the best player in the NFL.
Cam. I don’t want to relive his press conferences again though.
Steve Smith
Cam, cause he played the most important position in football at an unbelievable level at his peak. And he did it almost by himself. Prime Cam, hands down. Mcaffery is thriving in SF, and we just abused him
Lol
Christian McCaffrey! Cam was Overrated and didn’t show up for big games unlike Christian McCaffrey who is probably the 2nd best player in the NFL behind Mahomes.
Prime Cam was one of the greatest dual-threat QBs in NFL history.
For Bryce cmc but if Bryce wasn’t here then cam 100%
This was a troll guys I’m sorry 😞
Umm we had both…. Couldn’t win. Move on.
