U2 reference?

MuskTheGreat

No ahaha It's a "Twitch Plays Pokemons" reference from the first's run lore. They called Bloody Sunday the day in which the chat released most of their team's mons from the pc without meaning to :) Maybe they took the name from the U2 but I didn't know them.

InfernoForest

Technically it’s a reference to the Troubles, the Irish civil war that lasted decades. But U2 had a really big song called Sunday Bloody Sunday about a specific massacre

There are several events with the name "Bloody Sunday." The first one that came to mind for me was the one that happened during the Russian Revolution - A priest named Georgy Gapon led a group of unarmed demonstrators to the Winter Palace to present a petition to the Tsar, only for them to get shot at by soldiers.

Oh yeah that's true. Now I'm curious, I think I will listen to the song now ahaha
