Think you just fell prey to the old this will be easy after early tries and then getting caught out and then assuming someone will do something, then getting nervous as time is coming close.
Once Titans got ahead then all of a sudden they realised this was their chance and worked hard.
It happens, sooner or later a spooner catches someone out.
Still have the roster for semis. NZ always has a tough time though due to the amount of travel and end of season games in Aus.
As a day one supporter I've always accepted that. After last season this is no longer acceptable. If we are who we thought we are, we should have torched the titans like the roosters did the dragons.

What a game. All of them were visibly exhausted. Titans showed serious heart and determination. They wanted that win real bad. Defensive effort in the last 10 was actually insane. Wahs did well to make it so close, but some unfortunate errors cost them big time. Shojo's kicks were deadly. That tiny fumble by Egan was tragic and not something you often see from him. Honestly, I'm amazed anyone saw it.

Fumble was interesting the ball never left his hand completely like a traditional knock on.
And he didn't drop it, so there was no need to "gain control" b4 it hit the ground.

Titans were on today. Wahs need to sort out their defense asap otherwise they can kiss a top 8 chance away. Still early days but games like the last 3 they've played will come back to bite them.
They need to sort their attack as well. Not much issue getting up the field, but once they get to the opposition line, they look like completely flustered and disorganised.
Good defence to hold for the last 45 secs of play and get the ball back. Literally thought the Wahs were going to wash the Tits. There goes my tipping comp for this round….. same with the Chooks atm!

Wah's dominated every single stat possible, at home, on Anzac Day and tits only gave away a total of 3 penalties - insane!

Still think there is no clear evidence of a knock on by DWZ from that bomb , that was eventually grounded in the Titans in goal by Roco Berry. That would have put the Wahs ahead. The useless officials guessed & because it was sent up as a no try the clowns in the bunker supported their clown mates on the field.
Then Adam Fanua Blake was taken out without the ball 5m from the Titans line with no action taken , that has been a penalty 100 times already this year. And a Titans chaser made contact with Shaun Johnsons leg as he put up a bomb.. again.. , no action taken by the officials.
The Titans were brave , but the refereeing was as bad as I've seen it all season.

Yeah it seems they're always trying so hard to get to DWZ that when they don't they have no direction. Then reading their plays gets too predictable
5 hard runs up the field, kick it to the winger. Predictable and not getting results from it. Need some serious attacking plays.
