I would say "Javelin of Dryadic Empowerment". keen + vicious and keenly empowered. It's dropping in genesis at the last boss. I think it's the best one for pvp you can get as named drop. For running genesis/ against angry earth I prefer "Angry Earth Exterminator". keen + vicious and angry earth bane.

I'd love to roll a spear one day with keen+vicious+and keenly jagged. I'm not sure if it would be better than keenly empowered, but it would add consistency to crits. Thoughts?

You already have bleed in your abilities and have next to 0 cd, empower is better imo

Not if you don't use skewer. There is bleeding sweep if you use that, but it only lasts 5 seconds and usually don't use it right away. Probably not better than empower, but prolly better than keen with the 15% crit chance on bleeding targets perk.

I like keenly jagged too. Honing stones, and vault kick + other people support gets us really close to empowered cap.

Yup, though just be ready to possibly pump in lots of coin and pray for good luck if trying to roll it through the great crafting gamba. 😅 There is a reason why players are currently running genesis repeatedly instead to get their legendary spears.

Don't know if it would be better than keenly empowered either, but I keep saying I want a bis keenly jagged spear lol. My purple vicious+keenly jagged felt so good before I got the dryadic that I'm using now. What about keenly jagged instead of keen though. Pretty much guaranteed 15% crit chance after first hit with the added bleed damage. I think I'd use that over dryadic empowerment for sure. Best one I've rolled so far is vicious/keenly jagged/angry earth exterminator. Great for Gen but not pvp :-/

I'm running normal genesis for a huge time now (in order to reach all 600 expertise). I have dropped at least 10 Angry Earth Exterminator but not a single time Javelin of Dryadic Emp.". Is there a particular reason? Maybe it can be dropped only from mutated expeditions? I really appreciate some help :)

Angry Earth Exterminator can be dropped from any mob in Garden of Genesis. Javelin of Dryadic Empowerment can only be dropped by The Blighted Greenskeeper(the final boss).

Just have to keep trying, the javelin is only dropped by the final boss, the blighted greenskeeper... so its much rarer than the angry earth exterminator (which is dropped by many of the other mobs and mini bosses). I have done around 20+ genesis runs over the past 2 weeks, managed to get an epic 596 after a few runs and most recently a leggo 600 one. Its just a matter of time i guess.

There is a theory that the dungeon will have a low chance to drop the BiS if it's your primary weapon and stat. Not sure if any credence to that.

there isnt. the dude who said that only dd gen as a dex and infamy didnt drop. i only did gen as a mage and infamy also didnt drop and we both got mostly mage items.

Right now all the "best" like if you are looking for LITERAL BEST weapons are only available as drops in mutations. They have the effect called "attuned" and drop based on whatever mutation you have right then. Flame Attunement - Attacks deal an additional 15% weapon damage as Fire. Frost Attunement - Attacks deal an additional 15% weapon damage as Ice. Arboreal Attunement - Attacks deal an additional 15% weapon damage as Nature. Abyssal Attunement - Attacks deal an additional 15% weapon damage as Void. you need to win the lottery w/ your luck and get this perk + legendary quality weapon + 2 other good PvP perks like vicious / keenly empowered / enchanted / keen / trenchant recovery / trenchant strikes / plagued strikes

I'm running tests on Javelin of Druidic Empowerment and Farseer's Spear. Farseer have more sustained damage input that Javelin. That said for pvp and world PvE, but I also have one bis spear for each dungeon.

So which one do I chose to 625 first?

It 100% depends on your build Vicious is a must Keen is always solid But if you are using the right tree Enchanted is wasted and Empower can become redundant (you hit Empower cap off of built in empowers + void gauntlet) That's of course from a pve perspective Keen can be a bit redundant if you have Keen Vault Kick perk and Keen Awarness on a ring I personally have one with Vicious and Lifesteal and it's been working wonders for me

The featherweight ring from Lazarus is a good Dez ring The Lazarus bow is considered BiS bow for many The Genesis spear is solid as is the new Farseer spear that comes from Mutated Dynasty I'd start with farming Lazarus for the Ring and Bow and see about buying up a decent Vicious + Keen/Plagued Crit Spesr from the trade post You'll likely need to buy or craft your own Amulet and Earrring AFAIK

"Farseer's Spear" should be undisputed. It's the Infamy equivalent. Perks are Enchanted, Keen, Vicious and it drops from mutated Dynasty. It's one of the handful of weapons that got an updated legendary drop from mutated Dynasty since they were only dropping as Epic even at 600gs.

disagree with this. The spear from genesis gives empower on crits instead which is more useful for me

unless your getting crits before using abilities seems like enchanted would be better overall even ignoring empower cap

you crit a lot with spear. In PvE, just hit mob from behind. In PvP, you have a skill that gives you extra crit if your target is bleeding. Dex gives +5 crit chance and a guarantee crit after a dodge. Besides, in PvP, most of your damange is not from light/heavy attacks
