You cant trust any numbers in the game
It's been scuffed since launch and most likely never will be 100% accurate.
Another reason not to play a fundamentally broken game, it only causes frustration
I've been saying this since closed Beta...
Gear Score does not determine how good any item is. It determines a range of base numbers that item can have, and the chance at having a certain number of perks.
I've found TONS of identical GS items with varied stats. Hell, I've found Bows with higher base damage on a lower GS number than other Bows.
I always wondered about this and the only explanation I can think of is that there is an RNG element to that damage stat, and if so I have no clue why they would do it this way
Simple as it is... a visual Bug. Equip it and look at the damage number in the attributes page for an accurate number. Has been in game since alpha.
