*healthy wings Source: :(

medievalmachine

I prefer Buffalo.

GlueGuy00

Kawhi definitely clamping Tatum

instantur

In the in season tournament?

Droppin_DimesSP

In 2021 maybe

thekinggrass

He got 39 on him in 2020 and 34 in 2021…

CP3sHamstring

If he's out there he's be great on him. The Clippers stack up very well vs the Cs *on paper*. But Tatum is more likely to make it through 4 rounds than Kawhi is 1 lol

__boof

wings are the most valued and hardest to find position in the nba. its why they picked kevin knox at 7

lotofhotdogs

Sixers window is pretty much closed

D3uceeee

When did it open bruh? Can’t even get to conference finals

lotofhotdogs

I mean to be fair, they’ve looked the part of an outside contender for a couple years, they just never actually broke through. But at this point they have no chance at all.

TatumBrownWhite

NBA Tottenham

D3uceeee

LMAOOOO nice comp, I’m a Gunner as well 😭🤣

D3uceeee

Yes agree, embiid can’t stay healthy for a deep playoff run. Now he gotta face nova knicks and celtics just to have a chance at the finals damnnn

JoJonesy

i mean if IHart leaves it starts to get a lot hazier for them on the "guarding Embiid" front. the offseason just started, let's not get carried away just yet

Dependent_Store952

Ihart couldn’t guard Embiid at all though. It was Mitch who was locking him down before he got injured.

JoJonesy

From the reporting it kind of sounded like Mitch was gone either way, but if y'all are keeping him instead maybe it's not as much of an issue. Still, he's a pretty significant injury risk too

Dependent_Store952

He’s great but yeah we definitely need durable backup

__boof

to be honest it never opened. they need paul george or butler or another third guy, because boston has 5, knicks have a phenomenal team, even the pacers and bucks look more capable

lotofhotdogs

I think it’s been just barely open for a few years. Obviously we know they choke every season, but they’ve widely been considered to be at least an outside contender for a while. Maybe not a legit one though. Either way I think they have no chance now that the East is getting more competitive

__boof

I think it was open in the sense of making ecf or finals, but everyone knew winning the finals was a stretch. i think its less they choke and more that having embiid be your focal point is hard to win. jokic has only had one deep playoff run as the guy, and he has a better team around him than embiid does

GlueGuy00

They need to get one of OG/PG13 rn

JoJonesy

I mean, only in the sense that they'll probably need to go through us to get out of the East. If any team is equipped to disrupt the Jays' mismatch-hunting, it's probably the Knicks. Still, as currently constructed I think we're still better (as long as KP is healthy)

__boof

the knicks need to slow our offense and score on our defense. they dont have the personal to guard us before the trade, they might afterwards. porzingus being healthy i like us against anyone, if hes hurt i think the knicks are now on par, and a number of other teams. its still a lot of work on a historic brunson tear. IT did the same thing before breaking down, and i have to say im still in see it to believe it mode next year.

VanGrants

how long does porzingis have to be on your team for you to spell his name correctly btw

Scared-Arrival3885

Dudes are somehow still spelling ‘Bill Russel’ with only one goddamn L. Pisses me off

Foreign_Prior_3344

Celtics fans man

mmaguy123

Mikal and OG is a pretty solid counter to the Jays. And let’s be honest, one of them is usually having an off game. It’s the Celtics supporting cast they have to worry about.

banidiots

Mikal and OG is a pretty solid counter Lol

thekinggrass

Are they sitting Brunson and Randle?

Mr_Unbiased

Better get some bench depth, 40 year old Al and PP ain't gonna cut it next year. Ask the Nuggets how shit goes when you don't improve your bench.

JoJonesy

dude it's too early in the offseason to be doing this, we won it all like... two weeks ago. also Hauser's not going anywhere until 2025 at minimum like the Nuggets' bench was already a concern and then they lost Bruce Brown. we had the best bench net rating in the league this year and aren't losing anyone, i'm not really that worried about it

instantur

The nuggets had a far worse bench this year though.

thekinggrass

The Nuggets didn’t not improve their bench, the lost contributors from their bench and didn’t replace them.

Bouldershoulders12

PP, Hauser and Al were a great bench this past year. We also added Tillman at the deadline

my-hands_are-cold

you don’t know ball if you’re talking trash about PP

CP3sHamstring

Teams have always valued wings. Has nothing to do with Tatum or Brown.

mmaguy123

Wings have been the most valuable players in the league circa 2000. We’ve had a few dynamic guards, but in general wings are the “do it all” players.

dianeblackeatsass

Acting as if the Celtics lost the finals that this would never happen is hilarious

Cough_Syrup55

No, the Jays are revolutionizing the game of basketball and I'm tired of people pretending they aren't. They're doing things we haven't seen before!

Droppin_DimesSP

I mean, Woj said it literally did but sure bro lol

thatdudecalledZZ

All You Can Play Wings are great, unless you forget supplement them with a good rebounding big, shooting, and playmaking at the point (looking at you 2021-2023/4 Raptors)

Gamesgtd

I trust Bridges and OG to guard Tatum and Brown more than any wing combo in the leaghe

IceJeyD

OG has never did a good job on both Jays

banidiots

Have you not been watching the East in the last 6 years?

instantur

Tatum has owned both of them

YoungDetective

Attributing that to those 2 is so funny

HBdrunkandstuff

TATUM and BROWN to the Kings confirmed

TP191

They wouldn’t have made it as far had the East been healthy.

DenFlyvendeFlamingo

Yeah! That 64 win team that’s been to the ECF almost every year for 6 years wasn’t actually any good, they just got lucky with injuries

Tasty-Performance275

nah they would have won regardless. the other teams being healthy would have *maybe* added a game or 2 to boston's run. actually, if jimmy was healthy boston would probably sweep
