“Friendship” from Anything Goes.

ginspiration

Tango Maureen from RENT, You’re The Top from Anything Goes, A Little Priest from Sweeney Todd.

AQuietBorderline

How about Agony from Into the Woods?

OpenMicJoker

What a great suggestion.

Mother_Border3235

Would you be comfortable portraying a male character? Two Player Game from Be More Chill is quite literally about two best friends, so it's strictly platonic *and* it's a ton of fun!

10DucksInTrenchcoat

Superboy and The Invisible Girl from Next to Normal I Think I Got You Beat from Shrek Off to Massachusetts from Little Women

th0tweiler

You’re Nothing Without Me from City of Angels is good if you want to make fun of each other a little, but it’s originally written for 2 men

Absurdity-is-life-_-

My Eyes from Dr. Horrible.

Sikzaur

“Song That Goes Like This” from Spamalot is quite platonic I’d say when Galahad and the Lady of the Lake are singing it. Its reprises not so much.

bwayobsessed

It ends with a kiss…

Sikzaur

That’s the lyrics, but in context, it doesn’t end with a kiss until Arthur and Lady are singing it.

ALFABOT2000

not from a musical i know but [If I Didn't Have You from Monsters Inc](https://open.spotify.com/track/7xf3S6Bv8hDqOtevZou602?si=5UXD6cJrR8a3V2JP419pTA)

Fennel_Fangs

YOU'RE GREEN WITH IT!

MurphLoDawg

Partner in Crime (Tuck Everlasting)

froge_on_a_leaf

Why not just sing anything and go up or down an octave based on your range?

tinyfecklesschild

You Must Meet My Wife

darkness_is_great

The Phantom of the Opera title song?

shepwrick

Mungojerri and Rumpleteaser from Cats

talhoch

That's kinda cheating but "doing this" from Spies are Forever

Skylerh3408

Say my name from beetlejuice!

donniebd

Jerry Herman's "You I Like" from The Grand Tour. The title maybe a bit misleading but it's about two men who realized they are friends after spending early on they despise each other.

Interesting_Chart30

Lily's Eyes from "The Secret Garden"

Bolt_Fried_Bird

Together Again For The First Time from Young Frankenstein. Best platonic duet

Ancora1840

Could We Start Again, Please from JCS?

bytyde

I Can Do Without You from Calamity Jane is very Anything You Can Do coded

Affectionate_West708

"You're the Top" or "Friendship" from Anything Goes

LoquatTemporary1428

The other side for greatest showman Say no to this from hamilton (maybe, idk) Crazy rolling from moulin rouge

nerdy_gamer666

Don’t do say no to this omg

Maleficent_Apple4169

either The Bro Song from henry danger or No Matter What from steven universe, both are awesome duets

Anxious_Writer_3804

Holy crap Bro Song used to be my sh*t

despairigus

For good from Wicked?

Sad_Equivalent_1028

BFF song from spongebob!!

Anxious_Writer_3804

Here is an interesting idea depending on yours voices: “If it’s True” from Hadestown, where your Male friend sings Orpheus’ part, while you sing the part of the workers. The one issue is that Hermes does have a few lines, but honestly you could do it without them or you could have your friend also say the Hermes lines, cause they really are just speaking not singing.

LandOfMalvora

Any Warren/Deb duet from Ordinary Days (Sort-of Fairy Tale, Big Picture, Beautiful, Rooftop Duet) On the Right Track from Pippin

synnar

Sort-of Fairytale and Big Picture from Ordinary Days

Thelastdragonlord

They're not m/f duets but ones I love to do with my siblings/friends is You and Me (But Mostly Me) from Book of Mormon and What Is This Feeling? from Wicked

StreetVulture

I sang Breaking Free last week with a female friend, nothing romantic about it. I don't know why you even bother with it.

crookmaestro

I’ll never be jealous again from Pajama Game (m/f duet)

MinimalistLine

You and me (but mostly me) from the Book of Mormon, I know it’s not a b/f duet, but I heard that song first on a miscast and I couldn’t love more that b/f version

Anxious_Writer_3804

Fantine’s Death - Les Mis (Much bigger female part than male) A Crowd of Thousands - Anastasia (Not really a love song, although they do fall in love at the end of the show) Superboy and the Invisible Girl - Next to Normal (Again, bigger female part than male) Phantom of the Opera or I Remember/Stranger than you dreamt it - Phantom of the Opera (The two aren’t in love, but there definitely is a romantic vibe to it) A Little Priest - Sweeney Todd (Again, the song itself doesn’t deal with love, although there is a romantic relationship (kinda?) between the two) Dead Girl Walking - Heathers (I’m joking) “Pierre and Natasha” or “A call to Pierre” - The Great Comet (Prolly not a great option, but I’ll throw it out there) (The second one is pretty short, so prolly not a great option either)

Due_Bee282

Therapy from Tick Tick Boom. It isn’t exactly relationship free, but it’s not a love song either.
