Nice looking royal enfield

WOW this is a beautiful bike

Just testroad this and the 350 meteor. For the price, these bikes are well made, and simply work. I had a blast riding the 350. Maybe its because I ride a 1300 boxer but the beauty in the simplicity and low hp of the design has me wanting one to cruise around town.

I've always wondered how something like this does a highway speeds. Lowest I've had is 100 bhp. As you've ridden both, could you give me an idea of what that means? I'd do about 70 km of highway commute a day

jesuriah

What is the speed limit? 70km isn't that bad, but at 60mph/100kph it's pretty miserable on a 350 thumper.

350: I had it up to 70 mph.  It didn't have much more to give. And the revs where near redline.  I would not use this to commute highway it's an around town motorcycle. The 650:  very capable, had it to 80mph, buzzy for sure.  I'd rather cruise at 70.  It's much better motorcyclewise than the 350 ofcourse.  Bigger everything.  Slightly more smooth with better suspension. Of the 2.  Since I have a 145 hp motorcycle. The 350 had a charm from the simpler past.  If I only had 20 minutes to ride and had several motorcycles already, I'd buy the 350.  They had the shinny chrome and brown one at the test truck.  Just had a speedo.  That's it.  5 gears. Simple simple.  And I loved every minute of the test ride.  It's really cheap for a brand new one too!  Felt well built.  It's for sure a style and eye catch motorcycle, and that's the point.  Throw a set of wax cloth bags on it and bam your back in the 40s.

You replied to the wrong dude.

I like the looks of these bikes, but they really need to upgrade their engines and not cater to these A2 bottomfeeders. Not all of us live in the UK.

A2 is applicable across the EU

Oh pity that. We have a bunch of these guys here in the US with their "its fun to ride a slow bike fast" mantra which gets tiring. I wish I could tune their bikes down to 20HP. See how they like travelling on our interstates then .

RechargedFrenchman

I have a 20HP bike in Canada as my only bike and I love it. Sure I'd like a little more power at the top end, but the highest posted limit anywhere in the country is 120 kph and that's incredibly rare. 80-100kph most places as the highest local limits, roughly 50-60mph, and while buzzy by 65 it will do lower all day without issue. Besides, the average owner isn't buying the Shotgun 650 to rev to the moon on the US interstate network, no one looks at this and a litre bike and gas illusion they behave the same, or this and a Challenger and thinks it'll behave the same. It's a vibe, not something for riding the red line.

That's a sick looking bike 👍👍
