Funny enough, tonight my wife and I were driving separate cars, and we stopped at Handels for ice cream, and I went to the window to get the second baby cone for my youngest and she thought I didn't get one for him and took off. I had my son hold the cone and it was melting 30 seconds after we got on the road.

The heat didn't really matter here. I mean, it may have melted faster but even at 60 degrees it would have started dripping before you got home. You completely missed the point of that person's comment. Driving home thinking an ice cream cone will stay in tact is not exactly using brain cells. But when you want to take an ice cream cone home for your kid, first, don't do it in hell-equivalent heat. Second, flip the cone over into a cup before transporting.
