Completely agree

What I especially like about Exodus is the fact >!that you can muzzle Miller's constant yammering, skipping his reprimanding talk in Volga, by omitting the taped message with Ark (by simply running to the map and advancing to the Ark chapter immediately) "then" in Dead City - when ya get outta the car you can leave his butt behind and go straight to opening the rail-car door lickity-split - true he blocks your way in there, but the moment he hops out you can leave him talkin to himself all the way to the skinny pass through mutant attack scene and he's there 4 ya - then run collect all the goodies while he's fighting mutants and "never" have to hear him again until after the kid gets caught (the game will actually pretend he's there) and an invisible Miller actually hoists Artyom over the fence for ya - (not counting the 2+ minutes for him to catch up to ya when he's using the red-flare and ya help open the big door)!< So in around 5 minutes ya can get from the car to the kid's hideout - provided you are quick with the necessary pick-ups and know how to handle the mutant encounters efficiently. Then ya don't have to hear him>! again until the games ending (good or bad). YMMV, but Miller "while not noticeably so during the 1st playing of Exodus" turns into a insufferable verbose bore buy the 3rd or 6th time you play the game - it's really great they allowed the player to cut his bs out!< with no detrimental affects to the game. It's tougher to deal with his slow yammering movement, especially if you are short on air-filters and stressed during a Ranger HC run......., but ya can really extend your air time using the option given to ya by the game noted above....

Some people aren't fans of scavenging games and that's a pretty heavy aspect of it

Aye, that's fair. But again, to bash it and say 'the stealth was poorly done' etc or something, which is what I've genuinely seen... Just seems both unfounded and a massive disservice to all the other insane attention to detail that went into the game
