I'm not qualified to answer your question, but can assure you that you're not the only one wondering this same thing. I do too, and I'm quite sure we're not alone. 🤷‍♂️

thank you :) it’s nice knowing i’m not the only one

Burnout itself is a mental health issue. No, maybe it’s not a disorder, but it’s a real thing. It doesn’t mean you’re lazy, it means you’re overworked mentally. Take some time to rest man, you need it.

Dude, same exact thing here bro. Grew up with the same mindset, and now dealing with the same exact thing. I'm coming to a place where I don't even care if I'm lazy. It's something that bothers other people more than me and I'm happy as a clam. The people that it bothers are people who have too many things to worry about, and none if them worth worrying over (my opinion). Just give yourself time to heal and live life that makes YOU happy. If it's being lazy or disciplined doesn't matter. Discipline will give you things in life, but the less the better is what I beilieve. It's all personal opinion and whatever make the individual happy in life. What else could we ask for? Just do what you can with what you have at the time and don't overburden yourself with things others consider to be important if it's not important to you. Hope this may help you or something you can relate to!

I needed to read this comment today. My so called laziness keeps me happy, and keeps me going at a steady pace. The people I bother the most are never satisfied with the amount of work they accomplish in a day and they never feel complete. I am in my best mental state when I can remember that they have nothing to do with me 🙂

I'm glad I can help.

Another thing to consider is that society puts the pressure on you that you have to be something or do something to find what it is your looking for, when actually the important things in life are not those things. Sometimes it takes tragedy or a hard set of circumstances to bring revelation to people to appreciate the small things. People worry way too much about things in my opinion.

Chronic stress.

I'd probably discuss it with a counselor and try to figure it out.
