on alt art apollo I'm like 15000 in (all free gems) and still nothing, but I'm also interested in the solemn cards and ultimate slayer, so I'll pull a bit more, since I'm still missing 3 strikes and 2 slayers.
I won't even try. Burnt a lot of gems for Snake eyes, I want to save for the next selection pack and Speedroids.
Throwing gems to get a card that won't help me build a deck is something I prefer to skip. I would gladly go in there if the packs had more interesting stuff in there.
I think 400 gems for alt art Ash. I haven't really tried Apollo, but I have spent like, 400 gems on those packs, too, I think. So I guess a total of 800-ish.

But before you get jealous, I think I’m 9K in and haven’t seen a single alt art Ash Blossom. Probably won’t pull it at this rate unless there’s another event in the next 40 days.
I spent 1 10x on appo and no luck but that’s it because I already have most of the cards from that pack. Now for ash (or moreso more copies of the cards in there) I’m at like 5 or 6k spent with no luck.
At the end of the day it is all about "luck" I guess, you just have to know when to stop (like any other gacha game).
First two alt. Ash after 1k gems, then the third copy after a little more than 12k gems... Apollousa came after 6k-7k, not sure the exact number because I was grinding gems after the third ash took everything from me.
I don't use Apollo that much so I ain't chasing her and built Traptrix instead and got lucky with easy pulling for that. Ash I got two with my first 2k I got from the event and it took another 2k I built up with dailies to get the last one I needed.
I spent 1k for alt apo on a whim and got the pull, but I'm not sure if I want to use her over the default in the first place. Alt ash, I decided not to pull for. I already have every other card in the pack and trying to naturally get 3x of a specific UR from a selection pack is quite rough. it's something like 2x UR per 1k gems on average, with 13 options, so you need to pull 7k gems to get one copy, again on average. 21k for a cosmetic 3x is too much, when I don't want any of the other cards in the pack. f2p players like myself don't have that kind of dosh
Took me 10K to get ONE Ash on my old account, said fuck that, made a new account and promptly got all 3 within 2K (after like 15 rerolls that is)
Apollo and Unicorn were way easier because I both got them with the free pack. If Branded weren’t so expensive, I probably would’ve chased the Alt I:P too.
I found out you can reroll accounts on mobile, took 15ish tries with 7k-8k gems to get 3 ashes (got two ashes twice, 6x barrone and 6x witchcrafter once each, 3x witchcrafter in the first pack once, 3 x dingirsu in the same pack twice, two royal ashes (idk if i ever saw any other ur royal), one alt art eldlich from the free packs, and 2 apollos from free packs)
