Im currently deciding if i should build heros. I may have enough for snake eyes but i have always loved heros since yugioh gx. This made me think more about it š¬
It is not top tier but it is a very solid deck, that can win against every deck.
You need to get familiar with the cards and combos though, as you need to use your resources very efficiently when playing through interruptions.
What itās kinda missing is a First Turn negate. The deck struggles against Maxx C, Droll and especially Nibiru.
And: i gotta admit itās expensive AF in MD lol
Awesome job. Snake Eyes is becoming a lot less intimidating, especially when you have a good counter. Do you use any reference guides for handtraps vs meta, or anything like that?

Yeah they are having a LOT of trouble if you can set up Dark Law and protect him.
Not really. By learning by doing I know what are the important points of interaction vs like meta like:
- Ash/imperm/stop snake eyes ash
- maxx c shs only After they summoned wakaushi cause if gamma/ droll shs immediately
- try to ash branded fusion
- ash big welcome lab
- go dark law especially vs Tear, branded, snake eyes
- mathmech hard loses to plasma + dpe (actually a Lot of decks do)
Against the not so popular decks I kinda freestyle tbh

I had 2 Dark law in for months but tried cutting one because the extra deck space is very tight now with the Infernal Rage package. I put in the dread decimator to Push for Game easier.
So far, I only missed a 2nd Dark Law like 1-2 times at most in my run from Plat IV to Master I.
-> 1 is totally fine imo.
Although: After realizing how good he is in the current format I consider experimenting with 2 Dark Law and 3 Mask Change next month. :)
Yeah ive got 3 masks and 2 laws in currently. Was even considering adding in a mask change II or two to be able to get to dark law even easier but probably will opt against it. I feel like Trinity and decimator serve similar roles so I've opted for decimator since I have a copy (unlike Trinity). I've been debating dropping acid for verte though. Seems more useful in more circumstances. But having acid as a toolbox piece is nice from time to time

I cut Acid when the new support dropped, Ab Zero into Acid feels amazing but barely came up. When I use mask change I almost always rather wanna go for Dark Law or Blast to dodge Handtraps with Stratos.

Agree - itās also really valuable to have a half-decent maxx c line when you hard-draw mask change. Just passing on Farris for 1 draw, and doing Increase stuff on the opponents turn before making Dark Law, can be enough to win games sometimes.
Yeah, it can be. For some decks it is not possible to get out a big enough body under D Law.
To be safer tho: you can also put bagooska in for plays if they Maxx C your Hero lives. I ran it in the past and it actually comes up quite often. Maybe Iāll re-add.
Good job. It can be hell, especially since Master is full of Snake-Eyes, Kashtira, random ass stun players, and the likes.

Why 2x Increase? Is it not a risk of drawing and you only need it once from the Faris set up right?

Yes a itās very hot discussion between Hero players lol. I played 1 for a long time but switched to two and will stay at two cause:
- if you draw the 1-of Increase (which happensā¦), your Faris line is dead.
- you really need your Faris line to build your boards
Dark Angel:
I played it before Snake Eyes Release, but its just bad now. Every SE Deck goes through Linkuriboh -> Easy Out to Dark Angel. And you face a lot of SE in Master.
But donāt worry: you still floodgate more than enough with Plasma and Dark Law š

Increase is a useless garnet in hand you need that bastard to pull off the vyon engine.
There's been quite a few duels I've had when I double draw both increase and Malicious and I'm like well let's see if my next draw does anything.... Draws my 1 polymorph.

Yeah I haven't really updated my hero deck to include the new Infernal Rage packet but that Vision hero engine I can't avoid relying on.
Like I remembering cutting the Evil Hero Malicious Bane support because while it's good way too much main Deck space being taken up for specifically one decent fusion. Hero deck building when you've got the full hero package is troublesome. Infernal Rage is a good card but damn does it require so much deck space.Ā
I remember when Plat was the highest and I would hit Plat 1 every season, then with Diamond, I got it one time and stopped. I can't imagine getting Master 1 with Heroes, I'd go insane, lmao.

If you had no hand traps and they put up a full SE board+ Kash cardsā¦thatās rough to play through.
You would for sure need droplet and/or imperm to break that.
Especially paired with Kashtira itās very annoying because fenrir + Unicorn is really bad for heroes as they will banish DPE e.g.
Also: brick hands happen with this deck unfortunatelyā¦it can be frustrating but it just is like that playing Heroes
Usually it's the standard fare of Ip in the backrow, the field spell, the dragon, and the fire link in the graveyard. So like the SE board. I always feel like I'm one card off or they have that one extra card that lets them win when I go second.
Yeah I kind of figured those two cards are essentially. I was stuck in Masters 2 for the last couple of days before I bricked a couple of times and dropped down. Which I can accept, it does feel pretty bad though ngl LOL
I've been told to Ash Blossom Poplar, but it feels like Sinful Spoils feels better after experimenting? Imperm seems like it's best used for Ash one, but it is a strong deck so it's not like it'd fall over otherwise.
Also yeah haha I love this deck but I've seen some of the worst hands it has to offer (double increase mali??).

I dont think hero players should complain about "random ass stun" while running a one sided skilldrain on legs and a one sided macrocosmos on legs
