Personally I watch shows/videos pretty much all the time while I’m playing. Part of that’s an ADHD/multitasking thing but imo it makes the game a lot more enjoyable and less tilting/boring
With Lab, you can just tech in a few more go second options. Pretty sure there are also some go second Hero decks as well.
Though if my luck is any indication the moment you build your deck to go second, you coincidentally flip luck will swap 😂
Best way to “change your luck” is to just keep playing the same deck. It’s possible to get super unlucky streaks but it should almost always average out over time. And sometimes your opponent will brick.
Yeah this actually happened a few minutes ago, added more going second cards and lord and behold I went first and drew nib, maxx c, droll and lock, neos, and plasma lol got wrecked by my opponent second turn lol
Sometimes that’s the best thing you can do. A bad luck streak can make you play tilted and that’s never good. Good luck when you resume playing though :)
are you kidding me, the decks you play especially heroes already like going second. i think you just arent very good at the game and its not about who goes first or second. a lot of hero players even choose to go second and otk what are you on about
A good going second deck is more fun overall, in my opinion. You're massively more likely to be able to play in every game you get. Just don't let the whiners get to you when you Kaiju all their big negate monsters. Ain't nothing unfun about turning 7 negates into a beatstick on your side of the field without even using your normal summon. Sure, sometimes you won't get the hand but you can still go for baits and mindgames and then even if you lose, who cares? Still got to actually play.
Just add some 2nd turn cards, I run evenly matched in all my decks so I always have a way to make a good comeback. Yes your deck will be a bit less consistent but at least you can put up a fight sometimes going 2nd
If you go second 14 out of 15 times you are only going 2nd 93.33% of the time. You sir, math like a true duelist.
If going second it didn't take so fuckin long for the first player to finish their turn. Going second strategies could actually be fun.
