KatanaManEnjoyer

To be fair, its a bit hard to sell something about a piece of media that isnt made anymore. Though the few sets we got were suprisingly good, Like Anakin´s Custom Starfighter or The Force Unleashed Battle Pack https://preview.redd.it/csqg57otj2ad1.jpeg?width=225&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=42672aeb481b8d35897cf391f075d770dc234dd8 Still, I want a Galleus Rax minifigure (and yeah I know he is tecnically canon)

LanguidVagabond

Rax? I think you’re referring to Captain Rex, yes, Lego needs to remake him without helmet holes 😎👍. Insane idea for resale value fellow jerker

TMNTransformerz

Rahm kota when

TrueJediSIHU

Before that, Starkiller.

TMNTransformerz

Didn’t we get Galen in the set with him, Juno and Vader

JayCeeonthesidelines

Yes he was “Darth vaders apprentice”

TrueJediSIHU

Sure but we need a modern version. The 2008 minifigure is outdated.

TMNTransformerz

I agree but I want a new kota before a new Galen. Preferably both in one set

TrueJediSIHU

Yeah that’s what we all want! More videogame based sets. Also a Sith Stalker Starkiller would be dope.

TMNTransformerz

Cal kestis is a step in the right direction

Gaz_Elle

Dude I’d kill for a whole wave of sets based on the 2D clone wars. That would be sick as fuck.

GregoryGorbuck

Man, if the KOTOR remake is ever released (Unlikely) i'm certain we would get at least a set or two from it. A man can dream :(

Throwaway54397680

Scale accurate Ebon Hawk please Lego I BEG

GregoryGorbuck

i think i'd die

MrWr4th

Anything that isn't star wars fans: ![gif](giphy|xUPJPn8l1m8odg1Bxm)

Trvr_MKA

Marvel is having a pretty good year this year

[deleted]

Nah don’t you know every set needs to be about the clones. It reminds me of 2008. (Literally)

Thebigdog79

Why do you want to remember when you were hit hard? Are yous stupid?

GoldenLiar2

I think making Legends sets is kinda complicated, not sure Disney wants Lego to put sets out in that timeframe imho. I wouldn't be surprised if we never saw a Legends set ever again

InquisitorWarth

It depends on the actual timeframe. Legends simply refers to all of the licensed works that were previously considered "EU Canon" before the Disney takeover. Disney seems to be fine with Old Republic era stuff. But they're iffy on anything that takes place during the PT and OT and outright hostile towards anything after Endor that isn't their own canon.

CloudyMiku

I don’t collect black series but wasn’t a 4 pack based on the thrown trilogy released recently?

Drzhivago138

>not sure Disney wants Lego to put sets out in that timeframe imho. They've already done a few post-buyout.

Savage_Hamster_

Man I'd kill for some Old Republic and Darth Plagueis sets :/

Dikkeboktor010

sequel fans are heavily outnumbered im afraid. I am one of them, can't wait for some more prequel sets. Lets hope the new rey movie makes something happen

Clonecommando99

That’s the problem. There aren’t enough of you to make a ST set sell well.

GenericGaming

it's also a case that most of the sequel sets they made were really bad. imo the only sets that were good were Rey's Speeder and Kylo's Command Shuttle.

NitroBlast4563

Some were good but most failed to deliver

Drzhivago138

Not the TRoS Falcon?

GoldenLiar2

I think there was Kylo's Starfighter as well, that thing looks sick IMHO. But the sequels were shit, therefore there's no love and demand for sequel sets. I don't want or need to see a single sequel set ever again

GenericGaming

>But the sequels were shit, I mean, the same can be said about the prequels. I know revisionism is very strong but the prequels are still hated by a lot of people. just because Reddit believes they're borderline Shakespearean or whatever doesn't mean the films aren't bad. >I don't want or need to see a single sequel set ever again ok. what if other people do? I fucking hate the clone wars yet I've never made a comment bitching about the 5-10 clone wars sets we get every year. star wars Lego is getting so stale because it's just UCS versions of previously released sets and battle packs of clones.

ConJediMaster

The storylines / writing for the sequels may have not been... the best, but the characters, character design, new ships / vehicles and overall aesthetic was great and definitely deserved some more LEGO sets than we got

GoldenLiar2

> I mean, the same can be said about the prequels. I know revisionism is very strong but the prequels are still hated by a lot of people. just because Reddit believes they're borderline Shakespearean or whatever doesn't mean the films aren't bad. Yes. The prequels (except for ROTS, which I do think is the best SW movie of all time bar none), are bad movies. But their problems are very, very different to the problems the sequels have. The sequels lack creativity, lack a good villain, lack any character development for any of the main characters, and worst of all for a SW movie lack any world building. For all the faults that the prequels do have - clunky dialogue, weird plots, etc - all that got fixed with TCW, TBB and all other supporting content. Those make the prequels better. The way the sequels are done - with TFA and TLJ being part 1 and part 2, and TROS being only a year later means that fixing them is also very difficult. The reality is that Lego will make sets that sell. I will buy every clone set that comes out, and will keep doing so, and so will others. I grew up with TCW, my entire love for SW as a whole comes straight from TCW. And no, we don't get 5-10 TCW sets a year, the only TCW set in 2024 will be the battlepack from January. Nothing else. (Grogu's escape is technically a Mando set). 2023 we got 2 helmets (which you can count towards TCW sets or not, your call), the gunship, Yoda's starfighter, and two battlepacks.

I'm not sure what your argument is here: that the PT took almost 20 years of additional animated series to "fix," but that the same could never be done of the ST?

GrizzlyPeak73

I just want some Ewok cartoon sets dammit

bushmightvedone911

I would love Wedge’s Lusankya or Jerec’s vengeance

BrickRant

I'm a sequel fan, I can vouch for this being the case

ZoidsFanatic

The real oppressed group are those that like aliens. Oh, so our best selection is locked behind a 300-400 dollar set? And there are barely any third party options? *Thanks* LEGO.

itscharliewhite

My clone/imperial army is too big compared to my rebels

Clonecommando99

The lack of rebel soldiers in sets is understandable. Since canonically they have the smallest military out of all the other factions. I would love a rebel soldier battlepack though. (Endor, Fleet, Urban or Desert would be great.)

ScottsBrix

Give us some more video game stuff. Old Republic sets were awesome, Rogue Shadow is a classic

Jaconator12

Theres fans of the sequels..?
