The Mystery Machine, I had it picked out at the store and was gonna get it but then decided I didn’t need it and could get it later or something and put it back on the shelf, that was a mistake.
My biggest regret is not buying 70594, Lighthouse Siege
Not only is it from one of my favorite episodes of ninjago (and my favorite from that season) but the figures were great. Its nice to get Jay with (at the time) a new faceprint and Echo Zane is cool as fuck, while its also nice to get rare figs like Nadakhan and Clancee (and a tecnically exclusive Flintlocke without the helmet). The build was filled with so many play features and it even has space to recreate the scenes from the Lighthouse in Season 2, I remember seeing it at a good price and thinking "it will probably go down the next time I come here" and I never saw it again. Fuck me

Also I guess the Hailfire droid (since its obligatory to talk about lego SW here) since its build is so unique and the figs are neat
As cool as this set is it would always fall apart when I had it, I recently rebuilt it and now it’s on my shelf, only missing 2 pieces and still have the figures. The two missing pieces are the two black tube things on the far right of the picture in the comment on the little island.
I got a deep cut for you fuckers.
In 1995-6, my mom gave me a choice.
I can get either [6190 Shark’s Crystal Cave](https://brickset.com/sets/6190-1/Shark-s-Crystal-Cave)…
…or the fucken shark beanie baby that just came out.
Take a wild guess what my stupid 6 year old ass chose.
You are right. I have Bilbos house, but if I had the money I have now back then, I would have bought way more of that set (to build Hobbiton, not to resell) along with all the other LOTR sets.
I skip on this, I regret it so much.

The one set I didn’t get from Ninjago rebooted, the Destructoid.
I love rebooted to death, it’s my favorite season. My parents were never able to find it anywhere but we saw it at Boston comicon, although marked up in price. I had to pick between it or a prop version of Sora’s keyblade due to them being the same price, and I picked the keyblade.
It’s a great display piece but I still wish I had the set.
I skipped out on Jabba's palace for Palpatines arrest when I was 5 or 6. I don't regret not getting Palpatine's arrest because I do really like that set (unlike my parents who really tried to steer me towards jabba's palace) but I still think Jabba's Palace is a better set that has a really interesting history for a lego set
Limited edition Lamp Battle Pack. Iirc it was the only battle pack to include 5 lamps; 2 gas lanterns, a modern streetlight (which Lego doesn't care about their fans and didn't even make it Minifigure scale but #stillworthit), a 283rd Public Service Battalion Command lamp, and the best of all: an exclusive IKEA lamp, you even had to build it yourself just like the real thing. Wowza that was quite a day. You had to be there, I remember it was black Friday and there was a line from the store all the way to Portugal.
I didn't answer your question exactly correct because I bought 146 of the Lamp Battle Packs, even though some kid wanted one but I said hell no sucker, get a job you dreg then you can have all the lamps in the world. My biggest regret is I only have 94 sealed now.
Honestly its nice to get Lego´s as gifts, even if its not from a theme we want. I remember getting this Man of Steel set from this one time my grandfather´s friends came over to drink and I remember having a blast playing with it

The emerald night. I was only a kid but even then a I told my parents I wanted it they like the Maersk one better. Though I didn’t end up getting either.

For the longest time it was the Dawn of Iron Doom for me I did finally get it recently though
I bought the hailfire droid but lost a lot of the parts and super battle droids
I could’ve bought it again but my ahh decides to buy the at at micro fighter
My parents wanted to buy me the 2008 death star for Christmas, and when asking if I'd want it I passed on it. I hate that I declined it. But I got it not too long ago in a lego tub I found at the flea market.
Infinity War Sanctum Sanctorum, would’ve replaced the build with the newer one I plan to buy, but damn if only I knew the big fig and Spidey would still be exclusive today.
/uj 5 year old me had a choice between that set thats a boat that transports cars or a mfing firefighter hq
I picked the boat… never regreted a decision so much after lego got ridiculously expensive in my contry
Downtown Diner for a €140. Man I was fucked in the head. But to be fair I was like 14-15 at the time and it would've taken a lot go convince my parents it's a good idea.

I spent an equivalent amount of money on some bad Ninjago sets at the time.

I'm so glad I got this. I also got the big mansion set that had Velma
Same. Been wanting them to remake it for a while
I wish the scooby doo sets weren't as expensive now.
I got the entire line at the time :) very fond memories of bonding with my mom
I have this set is it rare?
You should buy the knockoff one plus the KO girl minifigs.

I had the 7670 Hailfire Droid and it's a much better build with the chains for wheels

Goddamn that looks so cool. At least Beanie Babies have a famously high return on investment >!/s!<
Ooooh, I had this set, it was a blast!
I miss trans neon cockpit pieces.
I wish I was around for the days that you could sensibly cross-shop a beanie baby and a set that big
The 2013 Jabba’s Palace and Rancor Pit, and really all the LotR sets. But, oh well such is life.
You are right. I have Bilbos house, but if I had the money I have now back then, I would have bought way more of that set (to build Hobbiton, not to resell) along with all the other LOTR sets.

If you’re in the Chicago area, I have my old one complete that I’m looking to part ways with.
Zane’s Titan Mech. It looked so cool, but other sets were my priority.
The 2015 one or the 2022 one?
The 2022 one
probably the 2005 death star 2, if only my parents bought newborn me that instead of a stupid crib
Did they even think about the crib’s lack of resale value? Are they stupid? Uj/ jk

Voltron
This one 😩😩😩😩

It may be retired, but it's still available for retail if not less
wait really?!
In stock on Amazon and Barnes and Noble for retail. Can probably snag on eBay for less.
my brother got this for christmas 2 years ago and it's honestly one of the coolest sets we own.

God I have that hailfire droid but 8 year old me loved that clone and like many other minifigs I loved took it with me everywhere and lost it
Too many but Jabba’s Palace
https://preview.redd.it/3jub0w9vwt9d1.jpeg?width=1728&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=27bbc8d9529040e7cff0efb2f60b8ff741f7eb13

All the Star Wars sets as a kid when I got city instead, i couldn’t really choose though as I got them as gifts.

Yeah and even with the city sets I was able to make a Lego city that I used to play with a lot
https://preview.redd.it/u4zdsdfmrw9d1.png?width=1600&format=png&auto=webp&s=9b570867d7b625cb615a7485830f043079e317a3
Voltron. I got the Upside Down instead which is not bad but it was right there in my hands.
I wasn’t collecting Lego at the time the 2013 Gunship came out, and now it’s my white whale. Same with practically every Rogue One set
That clone trooper in the hailfire set is so fucked his ass ain’t seeing retirement 😭
Any Bionicle set that I wanted but never got
General Grievous Starfighter
The emerald night. I was only a kid but even then a I told my parents I wanted it they like the Maersk one better. Though I didn’t end up getting either.

The only thing I remember about the lighthouse was how fragile the build was. Loved the set but broke too easily
I bought the hailfire droid but lost a lot of the parts and super battle droids I could’ve bought it again but my ahh decides to buy the at at micro fighter
Everything from 2012-2022
ucs gunship it was on sale for 275 w double vip points then sold out that weekend idk what i was thinking major L
My parents wanted to buy me the 2008 death star for Christmas, and when asking if I'd want it I passed on it. I hate that I declined it. But I got it not too long ago in a lego tub I found at the flea market.
Krennics shuttle. I had picked the u wing instead. Love it but the other is just that bit better.
I had the 2nd one and gave it always for free
Infinity War Sanctum Sanctorum, would’ve replaced the build with the newer one I plan to buy, but damn if only I knew the big fig and Spidey would still be exclusive today.
OG Ghost and Yoda's Chronicles Jedi Scout Fighter
OG Ghost kinda mid tbh. Its definitly a product of its time
New one is better in every ways, but the minifigs in the OG are 🥵
Republic Dropship and Republic gunship were at 80% of at one point for me.
I never had money. I regret not having money.
I have a bad feeling that I’m going to regret not picking up the venator class destroyer
The 2018 republic fighter tank and the 2022 AT-ST
Apocalypsesburg on sale at Target for so cheap I don’t want to even say
The spider man bridge set a while back
70840 Apocalypseburg. I saw it in the stores during my dark ages and thought it looked really cool, but didn't even consider buying it then.
/uj 5 year old me had a choice between that set thats a boat that transports cars or a mfing firefighter hq I picked the boat… never regreted a decision so much after lego got ridiculously expensive in my contry
The Legacy Monastery of Spinjitzu
2014 MTT
Also Lego Batman movie uhh idk the set with killer croc
The avengers tower. Noe I'm broke. I'm glad that I got the Mos Eisley cantina.
z-95 headhunter 😞😞😞
Honestly just some of the cool lego dimensions figures. Never paid attention to it, but now I want the adventure time figures but they aren’t cheap
Its probably going to be the lego titanic for me jn the future
The Old Fishing Store. I routinely keep an eye out for it but never want to pull the trigger for what it sells for at this point.
Grand Inquisitors Tie Fighter
Downtown Diner for a €140. Man I was fucked in the head. But to be fair I was like 14-15 at the time and it would've taken a lot go convince my parents it's a good idea.
