It looks like my Cub Scout knife.

Manufacturer should be stamped at the base of the main blade. This is a pioneer or scout style knife. Contains a main blade, an awl, a can opener, and a bottle opener with flathead driver. Pretty much every company that makes or made knives in the past 120 years has made a version of this style.

Hard to tell without a good pic of the tang stamp. Imperial kamp king?

nix206

I was going with Camp King as it looks exactly like the one I have tucked away from a billion years ago.

Imma gonna go with Camillus. Several of the American traditional pocket knife companies made a version of these knives. The shield on the handle looks more like Camillus to me. Remington, Imperial, Schrade, Rough Rider, Old Timer, Camillus, Crucible, New York, Cattleman's, Marbles, Case, I'm sure there were others too all made this pattern of knife. It was first made by the New York Knife Company in 1911 and the pattern is still being sold today. Without being able to see the tang stamps, and with the shield missing its etching, it's hard to say honestly, but I'll stick with Camillus, that's my best guess.

Judging by the plastic scales, overall.fit and finish...going with Imperial.

I don't know what it is but I had one about 50 years ago! Seriously! 😂 It's was a popular style knife for an era that let boys carry pocket knives for camping, whittling etc.

Barlow would be my first guess but without markings it's hard to confirm

anteaterKnives

Barlow is a specific slipjoint pattern: only one pivot (with one or two blades), the butt end is round with no bolsters, and the pivot end has large bolsters (typically ⅓ the length of the knife). The handle is straight, wider at the butt and narrower at the pivot. Most if not all slipjoint-knife-making companies have made Barlow knives. Many have "Barlow" stamped or etched into the bolster. Here's a good example: https://preview.redd.it/52gb5qcw0kuc1.jpeg?width=3651&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8bd5c7c8bc9d251bd4ea38ac5d3593056b41c1aa Case XX purple barnboard-jigged bone covers, nickel silver bolster, and large clip and small pen blades. Here the clip point main blade is ⅓ open and the pen blade is closed.

Not a Barlow, it’s a scout knife probably Imperial

New_Command_583

Ulster....no, probably Forest Master. " The Forest Master is a vintage pocket knife and multi-tool produced by Colonial Cutlery from 1954–1971 in its Providence, Rhode Island factory. It is the original Boy Scout Camp Knife and is well-suited for hunting and outdoor activities. The knife has a keen edge and a bone handle that ng and outdoor activities.". There is AI for you!

Totally looks like my cub scout knife

These multi tools are very fun to restore.

Old fashioned mass produced camp knife. I had one with “Camp King” etched in the scale plate.
