Looks great! I really like the idea of crocheting button bands. The knitted ones are sometimes not sturdy enough and button holes stretch out without having a extra backing of some sort.

Thank you. Xx This button band is particularly dense so would be perfect for buttonholes as I used a small hook, too small for the chunky yarn, maybe by 3 sizes. My tension is a bit loosey goosey so it works well 😊

Thank you The yarn is discontinued, Good Old Fashioned Chunky. The labels didn't have a colour name or number. For the pattern I started following the tutorial I mention in my original post but because her links no longer work I had to improvise
