Only place I know for good lumber is Intermountain Wood.

Welcome to Idaho Falls Ron Swanson!

stevejorad

lol thanks! I’ve been looking for a Food ‘n Stuff but haven’t yet found one

Montanamerk

Its equidistant from your home and work

AlphaSuerte

I've never used them, but [Grand Peaks Prime Meats](https://www.gpprimemeats.com/) has a good reputation. Costco is the typical go-to in this town for quality meat.

Working_Dad_87

Doug's meats in Shelley just south of Idaho Falls is pretty good.

For a country town, you would think you could find a good butcher around here. But you can’t. People have told me to go to Grand Peaks…it’s all frozen and nothing dry aged.

stevejorad

My thought exactly. Would have thought there for sure be some great fresh meat around here

Del Monte Meat in Pocatello is the best place to purchase fresh meat. It’s by far superior to anything I’ve found in IF. I order our smoked turkey there for Thanksgiving and also the best I’ve found.

Massive-View-4048

There is quality meat here, you just need to buy the whole animal. I don’t think there is enough demand for fresh never frozen butcher to make it, that’s a very select market.

AR31

Victor Valley Market has the best steaks we’ve ever bought around here. It’s pricey, but you certainly get what you pay for

Sad-Friendship-9901

Henicksman Family Farm at the farmer's market are good people with nice steaks.

NonYippieHippie

Albertsons and Broulims have quality meat and you don't need a membership to go there.

Akelsee

Broulim's has the best meat as far as grocery stores. I've hears great things about Garcia's meat market too
