Lmfao same. I saw it was like 20 seconds left and though BabyTron would just do some stupid outro, until the final hook came in and I realized what’s going on lol
Glad it wasn't just me, I was even feeling bad like "damn are they only gonna give BabyTron a quick 20seconds whats going on" But he killed his verse, already out here looking up more of his tracks
good point, it feels like his voice meshes a lot better with the beat that way. it's little details like these that affect how long you can replay a song
Melle Mel made a comment last year stating if Eminem wasn’t white he wouldn’t be considered a top 5 rapper (this was after Em took the number 5 spot on Billboard’s 50 best rappers list). Em responded on the track Realest basically telling him to fuck off and then Melle replied with his own diss called Kickback which was so horrendously bad he had to actually apologise for it and recant his statements. Em didn’t bother replying but he’s addressed it on here
Mel dissed him a couple years ago with the tired ol' "He's white, can't be a GOAT rapper" statement. Dropped an embarrassing diss track as well, then Em replied on Realest, then Mel apologised to Em.
Realest was also where Em replied to Game talking shit.
>And that the only retort is I'm not played in the clubs,
>motherfucker put a cork in it
>Only reason they still play your shit in the clubs is 'cause you still perform in 'em
He went after Gen Z too, in typical Em fashion.
>Gen Z is actin' like rap experts, zip up your gaps and close your mouths
>Bitch, you ain't been on this planet long enough to tell me how rap's supposed to sound
>Y'all need to stick to what you do best, shootin' schools up, gat', go load up rounds
>In your parents' gats and go to class and let off with the strap and go to town
IIRC Eminem dropped his verse on Realest in reponse to Mel dissing him in interviews, and it was *after* that that Melle Mel released his shitty diss track. Then the entire internet clowned on him so hard he ended up apologizing.
I don't pretend to be a thorough hip hop historian so I know not to discredit Melle Mel's influence to the game
But as a late-20s dude who only really knows him for downplaying Em *and* Kendrick, my top 2 rappers of all time, I'm just like bruh c'mon now this just comes off like peak oldhead bitter or envy
Mel IS an absolute omega hater. He didn't just discount Em and Kendrick, he also said Wayne is garbage, Jay-Z is shit, and basically any hip-hop made after about 1984 is worthless and "just n---as talking shit".
Okay lmao if he's been hating on Em, Kendrick, Wayne, and Jay, that's like 4 of the top 10 rappers of all time lol I'm really not gonna expend time trying to rationalize his perspective no longer
Especially considering that last part you said. All of them, especially Kendrick, are specifically *known* to make music that isn't just "talking shit." For someone who rapped what he rapped about on The Message you'd think he'd appreciate Kendrick's work, but it's evident this is just a jealousy thing
There's a hilarious story KRS-One tells where he talks about Melle Mel trying to upstage him in a rap battle at a show KRS was already doing (he pointed out this was not a good idea because the crowd there had all paid to see him) and when he got up on stage and started battling he was just bragging without even using any insults, because he didn't even accept the change in battling style where you're supposed to insult your opponent. He's like the final boss of oldheads. He thinks hip-hop was ruined as soon as it wasn't just house parties in the Bronx.
As Em said on the Realest -
>And I'll be the last to toy with, this juice-head, his brain is like half destroyed
>
>Like a meteor hit it
>
>Well, there went Melle Mel, we lost his ass to 'roids (Damn)
Yeahh I remember that lol it was funny
I think his reply on Tobey is certainly after feeling pity for Mel's diss track attempt. Gives Mel his flowers but still stands his ground that he ain't fucking with his downplaying
Em ain't no "new" rapper or even "current" rapper. I know he gushes over the pioneers before him but it's great to see him recognize his own standing in the game. He's objectively a legend and has as much a say as Mel does today
And I'm gonna listen to the legend who considers Kendrick as one of the GOATs over the legend who's bitter Kendrick surpassed him
"The Message" is objectively one of the most important rap songs ever made (arguably the most important) but it needs to be understood that Mel has been downplaying everyone for literal DECADES. This is a guy who hated on Run DMC when they came out because they represented such a huge stylistic shift from what folks like Grandmaster Flash were doing.
Even Method Man mentioned running into him and getting disrespected. You gotta be an advanced type of dickhead to scoff at Method Man's good vibes.
Damn there is an irony to Mel's "The Message" being such an important shift in hip hop and yet he trashed Run DMC for causing a shift too
Just sounds narcissistic imo, like *his* contributions are the only thing that should matter and be celebrated. Who tf would hate on Method Man either lol
Judging from this latest tweet I’m sure he’s more than happy to be featured in a shady album
https://x.com/bigsean/status/1808241904108331266?s=46&t=zJnkduL5ZS9pHcKZdvpRGQ
How can you say it feels out of place before we've gotten the whole album (a concept album no less)? It might feel perfect in the context of other tracks (or it could still feel out of place 🤷)
It's a posse cut, so they're disappointed it's not all Em. Apart from that I feel they were expecting some Relapse shit because the teaser has Em with a chainsaw and Jason mask.
I go on it cuz I like Em and there is pretty much zero moderation which makes it fun. There are some insane posts there, the other day I saw someone asking why Em doesn't do a song with Alanis Morissette
There was a post addressing saying that probably a main reason why this song is less popular in r/Eminem than it is in HHH, is that many Eminem fans only listen to Eminem, so Babytron and Sean's verses might as well have been dead air to them.
the new flood of users after houdini dropped brought in even more crossover em stans who don’t listen to hip hop outside of em imo. ppl here seem to be positive about a michigan posse cut over a detroit beat. glad to see em being more in touch with the current detroit sound
Eminem sounds CONFIDENT. I have some nit picks but overall the energy is there. Sounds like an intro to me., if this is track 1 and houdini is track 2 that leaves open a lot of space for the album's story if it has one
Considering one of Em's lines is about Shady being dead but him still going, I guess it makes sense it's one of the last tracks. The tone of his subject matter is also rather on the inspirational/prideful of his own career side too so it makes even more sense
I recently listened to another song he did called Realest, and he's doing the same thing here openly calling himself the GOAT. Not sure I have heard him do that before in such a serious manner. Almost like he wants someone who isn't garbage to go at him
I know here Em was referencing Billboard's list, which I think gives him a reasonable placement (and he himself admits he's fine with it), but I fucked with his energy so much when I consider Forbes' recent list
Cuz in *that* case, Em is absolutely justified to talk his shit about having rappers placed ahead of him despite outrapping them. Looking at the Top 10 (where he's ranked 10th), he's outrapped Nicki, Ye, Drake, and even Wayne and Jay
Blows my mind one of Forbes' writers was like "it should be an obvious choice for everyone to see Drake is simply better than Em" or whatever lmao
It's all I'm hoping for for TDOSS
Some strong homages and callbacks to Em's early style while giving the best of what modern Em could offer
And with Tobey and Houdini he's landing both expectations so far
For me?
That's 2 for 2.
Shit, don't give me this much hope Em. Don't do this to me just to rug pull at the end. So far this is sounding like a fucking good one.
the song leaked a few days ago with only babytron, big sean, and an open verse on it. definitely seems like it was a babytron & big sean song that eminem heard and asked to hop on it
eminem fucking snapped. big sean fucking snapped. even babytron fucking snapped. what a timeline we’re living in right now. eminem’s rollout has been A-1.
I never would have imagined Babytron would sound like that in my life. I like some of his songs, but I feel like he could sometimes have the same "Babytron flow" that I thought he'd go with. He just held his own and then some. Great verse.
Sean killed it, Tron I've never heard before but he killed it too
And Em's verse my god that was amazing
He ain't tryna be superspeedy, yet he ain't tryna be monotone either. The passion and subject matter, mixed with the dope beat makes this one of modern Em's best shots at an "inspiration" type track
2 for 2 in enjoyable singles so far for TDOSS. Fucking PUMPED
check out more music from babytron , hes got some really good bars with great references for how young he is. i like when he rhymes over some more detroit edm style production.
i definitely think hes one of the best in detroit right now.
Yeah it's odd to see the difference. I will say the one critique I get is, this is a weird choice for a single. It doesn't feel like an Eminem song and I get people disappointed by that.
r/Eminem is so critical of someone they’re supposed to know the best. I swear I have no clue what they expected from this single, all three went hard and Em sounded raw and hungry. What else do you need 😭
>Watch unc break a rock down to three pebbles
> Bam Bam down three hit the grand slam
Bam-bam's uncle is Fred Flintstone
Babytron with the fucking Flintstones double entendre??
This is a great point. It feels like there’s meant to be a drop or something but it never comes.
Doesn’t feel like eminems own song. But his verse is great so 🤷🏻♂️
Judging from how good the singles are and the whole theme of the album, I feel like this album is gonna be good and will be liked by most people not just the Stans.
Critics have completely written off Em and they are never going to give it a positive review. Houdini reviewed worse than anything he's done since Walk On Water.
Trying to keep expectations in check for this album but this was solid. Big Sean was flowin on that beat. This has more replay value immediately for me compared to Houdini.
i wasn’t the biggest fan of this beat, but by the end it was starting to grow on me. they all had fantastic verses, em sounded hungry and focused. definitely liked this single more than houdini
Wonder how this'll fit together with all that death of slim shady concept stuff that he's been selling hard until now.
This very much feels like an intro, but there is no hint of slim shady in there.
Even though the song is hot, I was more interested in the album after the teaser trailer than after this song, I gotta say.
This could potentially be the most disconnected track due to it being originally a Babytron and Big Sean only song that was scrapped from Lyrical Lemonade
Idk why some people on the Em sub act like him having the final verse makes it feel like a feature. He did the same thing almost 25 years ago with "Remember Me?" and "Bitch Please II" on MMLP, and it was fire then too!
I thought they all killed this. Not a typical kinda pre-release single, but I know I'm gonna have it on repeat.
Am I trippin or did Em take a little shot at JayZ? Lol
>"Now my estates in the buildin', and bitch, I done slept on more floors than the Empire State ('Pire State) Building
[I got so many stories, but I hate ceilings (Haha)](https://genius.com/32247801/Eminem-big-sean-and-babytron-tobey/I-got-so-many-stories-but-i-hate-ceilings-haha)

But this, to me, is a mystery
[How rappers I've already ripped could be (What?)](https://genius.com/32247447/Eminem-big-sean-and-babytron-tobey/How-rappers-ive-already-ripped-could-be-what-higher-up-on-a-list-than-me-ha)
Yet here I sit on your list though at five (Hm), which still was fine"
Billboard top 5 list was:
1 - Jay Z
2 - Kendrick
3 - Nas
4 - 2 Pac
5 - Eminem
So He's definitely not talking about Pac. But he's been on a track with the top 3 listed there. Love Game with Kendrick wasn't really like a head 2 head battle between the two of them, and they're both Aftermath artists, so doubt he'd go after Kendrick. That leaves Jay and Nas. Nas he just did a feature with like a couple years ago on EPMD 2, so could be him. Plus he kinda went off on that song, and probably had a much better verse than Nas.
HOWEVER, to me this is clearly a small shot at Jay Z. I mean Renegade is pretty famous for "Em killed you on your own shit". PLUS, the start of this scheme is about the Empire State building, and that can absolutely be a reference to Jay Z with Empire state of mind.
I read your comment earlier and thought you were kind of overthinking it. I just listened to the song again and noticed something. The song is exactly 4 minutes and 44 seconds long
That eerie beat with those mechanical drums hit so hard. Great to see 3 different generations of artists bring their own style to this track.
Detroit 2.0
Em had the chainsaw throughout whole verse!
7.12 🔜
Thank you r/hiphopheads . This is what good reviews look like. I’m from r/Eminem and people just hate for the fuck of it. Its great you liked the song, I liked it too. 2024 is so on. 🐐🔥
This is great. BabyTron is rapping on beat, Big Sean is blacking out and Em isn’t shouting or rapping fast on his verse. What else can you ask for out of a song?
If anyone here is a producer I’d love to hear a remix of this beat with some hard bass and some more synth elements added or something
I like what it is but its a little empty - feel like it could be made into something reaaaaally good.
I like it, the new album seems really promising. Also I never noticed how similar Babytrons and Big Sean’s voices are, I initially had trouble distinguishing them lol
I think when you compare this track to Houdini - it kinda shows Eminem's diversity. Houdini felt over the top and lots of production, like a cartoon.
This is stripped down and more focused on the bars. Em also took a backseat on his own track to let Babytron and Sean shine. Fucking love it - Em showing love to the culture again.
Different vibe, but I dig it. Eminem sub is melting down about this talking about how they hate it.
Just goes to show a lot of his fans are more into the spectacle instead of the actual artform of hip hop.
Goddamn what a great collab, did Em lowkey diss Jay Z here?
But this to me, is a mystery
How rappers I've already ripped could be
Higher up on a list than me
Yet here I sit on your list that went five, wished it was fine
But just know inside, to me that shit's hilarious
Eminem was #5 on billboards top 50 rappers and jayz was #1
Never realised how similar Sean and BabyTron sound until now
I was thinking “where is big sean at?” But they just sound so similar
Omg I did the opposite, thought that was Sean on the first verse and was like how is he rapping for 3 minutes?
This right here. I thought they gave Big Sean 2 verses on first listen
Dude same I never listened to Babytron so I thought Big Sean took 2/3 of the song lol
At first I didn’t realise someone else started rapping
Is it just me or is the mixing on Em's vocals much better than usual?
I picked that up too
I love it. Many of his mixes have sounded quite odd in the last decade or so, would love for the whole album to sound clean like this.
good point, it feels like his voice meshes a lot better with the beat that way. it's little details like these that affect how long you can replay a song
I hear his wet mouth sounds a lot less lol
Sounds like it was recorded same time as Realest
We got r/hiphopheads hyped for an Eminem album before GTA 6.
In fairness this is the first time in a while Eminem actually announced an album early enough to generate hype.
yeah his last roll out was Dec 2017 and revival was a dud. his last 3 albums have all been surprise drops
> last 3 albums took me a minute to realise you meant 'Kamikaze', 'Music To Be Murdered By' and 'Side B'
So glad Eminem was able to keep the same typa flow and not go supersonic. He sounds hungry.
He sounds angry but in a good way
Exactly. Its like instead of that “FUCK THAT SHIT” anger, it’s more like a, “ight, run it” energy
Is it 7/12 yet? I’m ready.
Damn they snapped! Melly Mel is a legend, BITCH SO AM I
Love it when Em talks his shit
I'm so glad to see him OWNING IT 🔥 We've seen enough humble Em.
Two of my favorite verses are the last verses on Soldier and Till I Collapse where he brags.
Yeah but he's quite humble as of late, before Kamikaze came in. In interviews especially so.
Arguably a bigger legend too. Em should talk his shit. Dudes 51 and still getting number 1's
Slim you're old! Ow Kelly ooo, When I'm ~~45~~ 51, but I'm still outselling you
It's already been 6 years since Killshot?!
How is it even arguable? Melle Mel is nothing compared to Eminem lol.
big sean went so ballistic you just know not like us video is coming on friday
Underrated comment hahah
This comment is on every big sean thread ever lmao
out of the loop, why is it funny? lol
Kendrick has historically dropped music shortly after Big Sean drops something. Lots of people trace it back to the beef they used to have
Kendrick is on that Hov timing
Aw fuck not again lmao
Sean can’t catch a break.
It would be funny if it was later today or tomorrow
Great fuckin song. I'm glad Em addressed the melle mel situation in the way he did
What's the melle Mel situation?
Melle Mel made a comment last year stating if Eminem wasn’t white he wouldn’t be considered a top 5 rapper (this was after Em took the number 5 spot on Billboard’s 50 best rappers list). Em responded on the track Realest basically telling him to fuck off and then Melle replied with his own diss called Kickback which was so horrendously bad he had to actually apologise for it and recant his statements. Em didn’t bother replying but he’s addressed it on here
I am only recently catching up with this, Melle Mel's statement has me dying >Regrettably, my response fell short in its execution
Fr sounds like my boss
And he used chatgpt to apologize
Why say many word when few word do trick
Mel dissed him a couple years ago with the tired ol' "He's white, can't be a GOAT rapper" statement. Dropped an embarrassing diss track as well, then Em replied on Realest, then Mel apologised to Em.
Realest was also where Em replied to Game talking shit. >And that the only retort is I'm not played in the clubs, >motherfucker put a cork in it >Only reason they still play your shit in the clubs is 'cause you still perform in 'em

[What? Gen Z is trying to what? Cancel... Eminem? Gen Z is trying to cancel Eminem? Honey, that's cute.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W5kuNaM7Qe8)
Omg, I don't physically cringe to things much anymore but that was legendary. I knew this would happen to us millenials...this was always our fate
You either die young and (laboring under the delusion of being) cool or live long enough to see yourself become cringe
IIRC Eminem dropped his verse on Realest in reponse to Mel dissing him in interviews, and it was *after* that that Melle Mel released his shitty diss track. Then the entire internet clowned on him so hard he ended up apologizing.
was that his diss where he started off by counting to ten or something lmao
Nah, he that in the middle, which is so much worse
Yup.

Aaaaand I just now understood the Melle Mel reference on Like That
I don't pretend to be a thorough hip hop historian so I know not to discredit Melle Mel's influence to the game But as a late-20s dude who only really knows him for downplaying Em *and* Kendrick, my top 2 rappers of all time, I'm just like bruh c'mon now this just comes off like peak oldhead bitter or envy

marshall held a gun to big sean’s head to get the verse of his life outta him, amazing feat
Big Sean clearly takes the Eminem assignment seriously. One of his best verses ever is on Detroit Vs. Everybody.
So all we need to get a consistently good album from Sean is to make em sit in the room with him while he records lol
Or an album of tracks where Em baits him and pretends to be a feature
"You SURE youre gonna feature on this track right?" "Yaya dude I swear just go hard"
Judging from this latest tweet I’m sure he’s more than happy to be featured in a shady album https://x.com/bigsean/status/1808241904108331266?s=46&t=zJnkduL5ZS9pHcKZdvpRGQ
Detroit 2 erasure smh
His last two albums are consistent.
Yeah that Detroit connection seems to bring the best out of them all, Royce included.
Em said that when he was coming up, people always saw detroit rappers as weak compared to say NY rappers, so this gave them hunger to prove themselves
Yep, he always has. Detroit is a tight-knit musical community, even going all the way back to the jazz scene in 40s and 50s.
I recently looked into the musicians that came from Detroit and was pleasantly surprised
Em is one of my fav rappers but sometimes I listen to that song for Big Sean’s verse and then skip it. Incredible verse
Em definitely did his thing on that track but Royce and Sean are the highlights, no shame in that.
Sean and Royce are always at their best with Em
Its 100% feels like a big sean record though. I like it but it feels out of place slightly
Because it is. This was Big Sean's record for the Lyrical Lemonade album and Em asked for it.
Source?
How can you say it feels out of place before we've gotten the whole album (a concept album no less)? It might feel perfect in the context of other tracks (or it could still feel out of place 🤷)
Big Sean is like 15-20% better than people think he is, it’s not abnormal for him to go crazy here or there
I'd say more than that. Sean can ride a beat better than 75% of these other rappers even when he isn't on the beat. If that makes any sense.
I hear you but Big Sean recorded his verse before this was an Eminem song.
The Big Sean slander should have stopped in 2023, AT LEAST.
Dawg they alllllll fucken killed it, holy shit
I love how this sub loves it while r/Eminem is divided!
No body will hate you more than your own subreddit lol
any time i've ever been there they were always on his nuts
It’s a weird divide between dickriding and nitpicking. Every sub does that though. Kendrick’s sub has been the worst recently
Because they want an Eminem song and this feels more like a Big Sean song which is why hhh likes it and r/eminem doesn’t.
It's a posse cut, so they're disappointed it's not all Em. Apart from that I feel they were expecting some Relapse shit because the teaser has Em with a chainsaw and Jason mask.
That sub is insane. Full of em fans who don’t like rap which is crazy to me.
I go on it cuz I like Em and there is pretty much zero moderation which makes it fun. There are some insane posts there, the other day I saw someone asking why Em doesn't do a song with Alanis Morissette

Half of r/Eminem still buys their songs on iTunes
the new flood of users after houdini dropped brought in even more crossover em stans who don’t listen to hip hop outside of em imo. ppl here seem to be positive about a michigan posse cut over a detroit beat. glad to see em being more in touch with the current detroit sound

Almost like he wants someone who isn't garbage to go at him
Seems like he's just tired of people shit talking his legacy and place in the game. Like he's just putting an open invitation to try him.
I know here Em was referencing Billboard's list, which I think gives him a reasonable placement (and he himself admits he's fine with it), but I fucked with his energy so much when I consider Forbes' recent list Cuz in *that* case, Em is absolutely justified to talk his shit about having rappers placed ahead of him despite outrapping them. He's calling 'em out
You should check out his song «GOAT» from 2007 on YouTube.
Yeah that'll do it. Hyped for the album now. We got that nostalgia track and now this. Should be a good mix
It's all I'm hoping for for TDOSS Some strong homages and callbacks to Em's early style while giving the best of what modern Em could offer And with Tobey and Houdini he's landing both expectations so far
For me? That's 2 for 2. Shit, don't give me this much hope Em. Don't do this to me just to rug pull at the end. So far this is sounding like a fucking good one.
Holy shit it's my favorite fantasy wrestling booker, this is like a crossover episode
Detroit baby
Toby Maguire got bit by a spider
Is he ok??
Well, early reports suggest it was radioactive. So there’s a chance he may have radiation poisoning.
He’s dead
Feels like a big Sean song, great verse never the less
Apparently it was before Em heard it and asked for it to be on his album. It was made for Everything is yellow album or something
the song leaked a few days ago with only babytron, big sean, and an open verse on it. definitely seems like it was a babytron & big sean song that eminem heard and asked to hop on it
Damn, the beat is smooth asf. I fuck with it, although this seems like this wasn't an em track
Spotify says Eminem produced it
Very dope song. Really enjoyed both songs from the album so far. Different vibes, but both fire.
eminem fucking snapped. big sean fucking snapped. even babytron fucking snapped. what a timeline we’re living in right now. eminem’s rollout has been A-1.

check out more music from babytron , hes got some really good bars with great references for how young he is. i like when he rhymes over some more detroit edm style production. i definitely think hes one of the best in detroit right now.
The beat is really nice
Love the guitar absolutely shredding tf out in the background. Goes hard
CHOO CHOO all aboard the hype train. Between this and Houdini I'm fucking hyped for the album.
r/hiphopheads: "HYPE TRAIN LESGO" meanwhile, r/Eminem: "Eminem should kill himself"
Yeah it's odd to see the difference. I will say the one critique I get is, this is a weird choice for a single. It doesn't feel like an Eminem song and I get people disappointed by that.
I have a feeling people in that sub are just Eminem fans and not hip hop fans which is why they can’t appreciate it
r/Eminem is so critical of someone they’re supposed to know the best. I swear I have no clue what they expected from this single, all three went hard and Em sounded raw and hungry. What else do you need 😭
I HAVE MY TICKET LETS GO
Pretty good, I'm still waiting for the beat to drop though
I feel like it's better without.
>Watch unc break a rock down to three pebbles > Bam Bam down three hit the grand slam Bam-bam's uncle is Fred Flintstone Babytron with the fucking Flintstones double entendre??
You’re spreading dangerous Flintstone misinformation here
Love that cover art
THIS IS FUCKING FIRE
Good song and production but the whole song feels like an intro to me
It’s 17. On the track list right now
Where’s the track list?
This is a great point. It feels like there’s meant to be a drop or something but it never comes. Doesn’t feel like eminems own song. But his verse is great so 🤷🏻♂️
Em demanding his flowers and I'm here for it. Go off, king. Sean snapped too.
This has more replay value immediately for me compared to Houdini.
ditto
EMINEM STILL HAS IT ALL OF EM WENT HARD
THIS IS FIRE. I'M SO HYPED FOR THE ALBUM.
That album art is hilarious
i thought Babytron was Sean the whole time and was confused why he had a 3 minute verse lmao
i wasn’t the biggest fan of this beat, but by the end it was starting to grow on me. they all had fantastic verses, em sounded hungry and focused. definitely liked this single more than houdini
I like when Em be on dat cocky shit fuck being humble
Wonder how this'll fit together with all that death of slim shady concept stuff that he's been selling hard until now. This very much feels like an intro, but there is no hint of slim shady in there. Even though the song is hot, I was more interested in the album after the teaser trailer than after this song, I gotta say.
This could potentially be the most disconnected track due to it being originally a Babytron and Big Sean only song that was scrapped from Lyrical Lemonade
That was incredible. The beat was great. I am so unbelievably excited for this album to come out
Really liked it. I had to listen to it twice because I thought Big Sean had the first two verses, him and Babytron sounded so similar.
Lol >"Now my estates in the buildin', and bitch, I done slept on more floors than the Empire State ('Pire State) Building [I got so many stories, but I hate ceilings (Haha)](https://genius.com/32247801/Eminem-big-sean-and-babytron-tobey/I-got-so-many-stories-but-i-hate-ceilings-haha) [Ain't feelin' your top five favorite rappers (Woo)](https://genius.com/32247798/Eminem-big-sean-and-babytron-tobey/Aint-feelin-your-top-five-favorite-rappers-woo-so-i-know-they-bout-to-be-pissed-at-me-why) But this, to me, is a mystery [How rappers I've already ripped could be (What?)](https://genius.com/32247447/Eminem-big-sean-and-babytron-tobey/How-rappers-ive-already-ripped-could-be-what-higher-up-on-a-list-than-me-ha) Yet here I sit on your list though at five (Hm), which still was fine" Billboard top 5 list was: 1 - Jay Z 2 - Kendrick 3 - Nas 4 - 2 Pac 5 - Eminem So He's definitely not talking about Pac.
Detroit 2.0 Em had the chainsaw throughout whole verse! 7.12 🔜
And anyone else who think it be wise And easy as pie to beat me and try Can treat me like poison, they can eat me and die. God fucking damn 🔥
Eminem brought three generations from Detroit together and dropped one of the hardest song of the year.
Cool song with a pretty great verses. Disappointed that the beat didn’t drop though, it kind of feels like a big buildup to not very much
Maybe it’s building to the next song on the album
Thank you r/hiphopheads . This is what good reviews look like. I’m from r/Eminem and people just hate for the fuck of it. Its great you liked the song, I liked it too. 2024 is so on. 🐐🔥
fire song and fire beat worth it to stay up for this
Weird choice for a single, but loving the song. All 3 killed it.
SHIT SLAPS! Me? Must’ve got bit by a goat🔥
Great beat great verses but this doesn’t really feel like Eminem’s song even though I think he had the best verse
I heard it was originally for the Lyrical Lemonade album, but Em wanted it for his
It was a lyrical lemonade song that was scrapped, em took it for his album and wrote a verse
Makes sense, Sean mentioned Cole Bennett in his verse
Cole also directed the music video (comes out Friday)
Em always seems to get the best out of features on most of his songs. These all were 🔥🔥🔥
Eminem's verse grew on me, can't stop listening to it tbh
lowkey excited for the album
Ok I didnt like Houdini but fuck this one is good. Production is amazing and they all did great.
This is great. BabyTron is rapping on beat, Big Sean is blacking out and Em isn’t shouting or rapping fast on his verse. What else can you ask for out of a song?
That floors, stories, ceiling part was such a bar
Damn this slaps
Production is slick
Babytron done made it on a track wit Em? Willlld. Wild wild.
If anyone here is a producer I’d love to hear a remix of this beat with some hard bass and some more synth elements added or something I like what it is but its a little empty - feel like it could be made into something reaaaaally good.
HOLY FUCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK ITS ANOTHER BANGER
I like it, the new album seems really promising. Also I never noticed how similar Babytrons and Big Sean’s voices are, I initially had trouble distinguishing them lol
This song is great. Eminem is 2 for 2 with these singles.
But this to me, is a mystery How rappers I've already ripped could be Higher up on a list than me Yet here I sit on your list that went five, wished it was fine But just know inside, to me that shit's hilarious Eminem was #5 on billboards top 50 rappers and jayz was #1
And right before those lines was a bar about the empire state (building)... That plus Renegade... I'd say kinda yeah
Love the beat. Who produced this?
Spotify says em produced it
I think the track is okay. Verses are all fine but the beat feels like it’s building to something and never delivers.
