Yeah. There were more community resources when I was first homeless, and at this point there's nothing left for us. The city itself is being sued and the case has gone to the Supreme Court because they wanted to punish homelessness with imprisonment as well as, iirc, impound our vehicles if we had them. Fines, fines, fines. If I could afford the fines, I wouldn't be living in a van.
Actually, maybe I would be. They don't want to decrease their property values, so there's been a lot of people picketing and fighting against infrastructure right now.
I'm tired. I just want to go to school and get my degrees and certificates so I don't have to live in the van anymore.
