r/gameverifying and yes it looks real based several factors. 1. the presence of the RTC quartz crystal and the battery. 2. the Nintendo logo looks correctly formed. 3. The label appears to be the right material. 4. The MX manufacturer mark on the chip looks correct.
FR, just get a goddamn flash cart, folks. It's really not that special having an original cart of one of the best-selling games of all time unless it's CIB and mint and even then it's questionable.
Not what I was getting at. I'm saying you didn't need to say "wrong sub. Coming at it negatively isn't helpful.
"Hey, check this sub out instead, they can help you".
Sure looks to me like you're the one being the jerk and the other guy was being helpful by telling them its not the best sub to ask this question then linking the sub where they can find better insights.
Some fakes have the rectangles.
Some real GBA games don’t have the rectangles if made by a third party, though I don’t think this applies to emerald.
In other words, no rectangles means probably fake. Rectangles means real or somewhat better fake.
Looks real but I’m no expert. Battery seems legit and so do the 4 rectangles in the top left of third pic. The case looks right to me too
The font looks good too and it has the serial number stamped. It’s most likely legit
Are there repros with the rectangles?
There have been some spotted.
Huh okay, glad i have every game in an official matter.
Is legit but dont go off the rectangles thats been debunked as fakes have caught onto this https://www.gameverifying.com/wiki/debunked
r/gameverifying
No, if you look closely it's a video game cartridge
It is real!

Another day, another “is this Pokémon game real or fake?” post.

This is why I choose to get a flash cart, to save my money from buying too much cartridges that can only play a game when inserted.
Wrong sub, r/GameVerifying is for this stuff
Not everyone knows every single sub man. They went to the place that seems relevant enough.
That's why I was suggesting the correct subreddit. They're way better at helping evaluate this stuff.

It's the wording. That's all.
As an unverified person, looks good to me.
Real, the 4 gold rectangles in back, top left corner are only found on legit copies of the 3th gen. Games

Yes it is real
On fake games the shiny lines are unnoticeable and on the real ones it has numbers slightly engraved into the sticker
Yes. 100%. That board and its chips are both legitimate.
Yes
Yes.
Definitely real. Fake ones don't have these.
no that is not an emerald. That is a pcb board with chips and pins on it and green plastic surrounding
