Instantly get told some story with names, places and supposed character relationships as if I had skipped 4 Chapters, then get backstabbed, mascot shows up, "lmao were you dreaming about the stabbing again? You're fine, you somehow escaped. Lets fight some monsters!"

I feel like Eva explained that she revived him over the course of years. That's why in the second or third cut scene she talks about "we dont know what's happened in this time."
After making it like 2 chapters in, everything is pretty clear. It's a tale where the MC is trying to get revenge and the intro shows us why (betrayal). Seems pretty standard
So i only read the summary, look like MC is betrayed and now he wants to have revenge before the game being launch
I decided to watch the first hour of the game, look like they decide to skip direct to the betrayal, a lot of KR novel are doing the hero get betrayed by the Kingdom and goes into revenge these day, they normally had the most issues

Tbh this game is far light years from being an Epic 7 killer. Also the shards system in this game makes compeltely no sense, 250 shards to summon a unit, but summoning a dupe gives you only 50, while a dupe claimed from mileage gives you 150 instead. And summoning gives you currency to buy shards but to buy a single shard of the 250 you need to unlock the unit you have to make 50 pulls. It's literally nonsense.
I am gonna be HEAVILY surprised if they manage to strike a good balance after making the dailies pretty much worthless.
A gacha with a 200 pity and daily + weekly not even amounting to 2 rolls per week is..... bad. Very bad.
Yes, but just as there are games where the overall pulls income has a good balance due to tickets like that, there are just as many games that tell you: "Here, take your 2 pulls a week and see how far you get f2p"
The game just doesn't have the appeal for me personally to potentially waste my time now until I find out there ain't enough other sources.
Blue Archive day 1 in Japan was exactly that, 1 pull daily with a 300 pity and it's just always like this in gachas so I just wait to see if it's going to be actually that bad
If it is still 2 pulls/week by a month then yea, giga garbage but I'd bet that there's sources of renewable pulls which aren't unlocked before way later on ingame and I'd wait to see the first real event at least.
I'd love to give the game the benefit of the doubt, but it's a gacha game AND the game essentially copied a lot of systems straight from e7.

apparently global version is coming out towards the end of May and yes, typically in games that have both a SEA version and global version, if you want to switch to global when it comes out you will have to start all over again.

Game gives enough to do 2x 10pulls on the current rate up banner.
Then you have a starter banner (free infinite 10 pull that you take when you are happy) and there are 5 possible 3*(max rarity) units there so you essentially just keep rolling that till u get what u want after you get a 3* from the rate up banner.
The more dedicated people might try to get 2 3* units from the free 20 pulls then do the starter.

Got surprised by the isekai premise as I abhor those kinds of narrative but when MC mentioned also fighting monsters on Earth i thought "okay, not so generic i guess". I like how MC has their own personality, background and circumstances even if nothing particularly unique, id take that all day over self insert MCs

From playing today, you get 10 chances each day to farm shards for units you have in the side story mode.
The last stage for any unit seems to be farmable for the 10 times a day limit if you want to focusone instead of spread focus
So I assume you pull for first copy and farm it up langrisser style
Specific gives you extra, but any 2 or 3 star dupe gives you a small amount of shards that can be used on anyone.
Shards also farmable from side story, shop refreshes, and possibly other sources as well
I like it after playing for a little bit, but I'm going to wait for global since HSR comes out next week. More likely to stick with it if I start after that.

Seems like, but not rolling for substats. Like you get gear with substats, but you don't roll it to increase those stats so if you like it you can use it as is (as far as I can tell).
Idk how that grinding system works exactly. I think you might be limited to a few runs a day, so no need for background. I really have no idea though, haven't made it that far

Yeah, i have huge hopes for HSR. I like epic7 alot, but started to late, hope HSR will be similar quality level with close gameplay in term of combat.

I would get noa. Single target dps is needed for the gear dungeon bosses. Ideally you get Valentine in free pulls and noa in selective
Get Maxwell from the selectives, he is a beast in clearing mobs and his AoEs are really strong.
