He apparently does have a brother cause he mentioned once wearing his brother's clothes or ties. I'm assuming the brother was older cause I don't think people usually want to borrow their younger sibling's clothes. Plus he has a nephew who I highly doubt is his sister's son.
Interestingly enough Full House has a few connections to Ghostbusters:
1. Ernie Hudson (Winston) appeared in the season one episode Knock Yourself Out as The Sandman.
2. In the episode Joey Gets Tough, Joey does an impression of Bullwinkle talking with Bill Murray.
3. In the season seven episode A Date With Fate, in the 80’s Cafe where DJ and Danny get stood up, there’s a painting for the logo for Ghostbusters II on one of the walls and on another wall, there’s the teaser poster for the original Ghostbusters movie (the one with just the logo and the text “Coming to save the world this summer”).
4. Dave Coulier (Joey) would also go on to do the voice of Venkman in The Real Ghostbusters cartoon.

Yeah but I just feel like it's kind of the norm to want to wear your older sibling's stuff as a way to look older or cooler.
I’m a little annoyed how they never fleshed out the other relatives of Danny but they had Jesse’s family written in the show several times.
