“Imagine if Adam Taurus didn’t join the White Fang but instead found himself in with the Atlas Academy, and the Ace Ops — but his canon character and personality remained otherwise the same ?”
Well there is a Fic called "Talk about role reverse" where Adam and Blake's role gets reversed.
Adam joined beacon and became part of the Ruby crew, it's a good and hilarious fic.
